The cabin is sheltered from the farm and along the Signaldalselven, where there is a 3 km hiking trail starting from the cabin. Northern lights just outside the cabin. short distance to the high mountain for skiing/ice climbing/peak hikes/hunting and Northern Lights experiences. The area the cabin is in is a famous place for Northern Lights tourists and you can take nice pictures of the northern lights with the Otertinden in the background.

The cabin is located in Signaldalen about 110 km from Tromsø city. Located on the signadal river, surrounded of high mountains and mighty nature. A short distance to the high mountain for ski/peak hikes/hikes/hunting and northern lights experiences. There is also a scooter trail during winter time. The kitchen has a coffee maker, kettle, oven/stove, range hood and refrigerator. Pre-made beds, towels and final cleaning included. Please note! The upstairs sleeping area is less than 120 cm high, so the property is NOT suitable for people with reduced mobility! Also, the stairs are not childproof.

Cottage is 250 m from the main road so in winter times you need 4wd car for going there! Price pr night to hire the jacuzzie is 50 euro. price pr night for the sauna is 30 euro. Offer this season a rent car SUV with 4wd; Range Rover Sport for 160 euro pr day.

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
