Really nice spot downtown on 1st Street near the water. Several dozen Wines for Tasting, great atmosphere, very nice Bar menu. Recently, they created a "Speakeasy" where you book a reservation for drinks and/or dinner, and they give you a Password to get in. Very cool !!

Parks & Nature

Benicia State Park is a truly beautiful CA State Park just North/West of Downtown. From the parking lot all the way to the back corner, and return, is a fabulous 5 mile walk/bike ride/nature trail, and it is out along the Carquinez Straits, with the water in the distance, and the marsh lands in the foreground. There's a host of wildlife in the marshes, and numerous trails to walk, from "easy" to "difficult/challenging", and the Views are truly magnificent all throughout the day. Sunrise, Sunsets, and the Wildlife make this an exceptional and pristine natural park to explore and enjoy at anytime of the year. It's a Real Gem !!
