"The Mill House sits at the heart of Maui Tropical Plantation, surrounded by farmland, against the breathtaking Waikapū Valley. The kitchen and bar apply an innovative approach to fresh, local ingredients in dishes that honor the cultures of those who emigrated from Japan, China, Spain, Korea, Portugal, and other distant lands to work in Maui’s sugarcane industry a century and more ago. This is a farm to table experience in Maui Up Country. This is one of the best experience on the island. You will pick up your own salad and they will prepare for you right there. Their chef will also prepare a delicious meal including fish and meat (or simply a vegetarian meal)….your choice! The view while you eat outside there is breath taking. When you mention to the host there called “Jess” or “Rah” that you are coming from “David’s Airbnb”, she will provide you a free espresso (they grow their own coffee beans and I think it’s the best coffee I ever had).
