Sonia is a very welcoming host and respectful of our privacy. The apartment was in keeping with the photos: the clean place, thick bath towels and the very comfortable bed. What I liked most is the very large kitchen and well separated from the room, which avoids hearing the sound of the refrigerator at night. The least: can be a private parking space. But I managed without problem, to find something to park a little further down the street when I will return late at night.

Very good stay in the studio of Catherine and Gilbert. We were greeted by Gilbert who showed us the studio and explained everything you needed to know about the operation. The studio is very nice and bright with small terrace and garden view. Inside, all the necessary for a good stay and a decoration neat and of good taste. Beautiful television, comfortable bedding and not a speck of dust! In addition, you can park your car inside the property.

Ronald’s place is fantastic for a couple road tripping the Rhône Alps region. The location in the town of Souclin is brilliant. The town itself is just a gorgeous village in the mountains. There’s a beautiful hike from Ronald’s place. The place itself is perfect for two. Comfy and spacious bedroom. Neat toilet and shower area. Neat kitchenette that is thoughtfully equipped. The milk, tea, coffee, cupcakes etc were a good touch. The appliances were adequate as were the utensils. All in all, a terrific stay and great value for money.

Address to recommend, the home and housing are worth the detour.

Francoise's place is the ground floor of a large house built in the last century for the local notary. It has been extensively and expertly renovated and converted to two bedrooms, living/kitchen area and toilet bathroom. The fittings and finish have been professionally done to a high standard. St Rambert is well situated for hiking, fishing (the second best trout fishery in France) and cycling.

Ludo is a charming, kind person, who offered us drinks when we arrived and, because he had to leave early the next morning, left us free in the house with an invitation to help ourselves to bread, coffee etc. and anything in the fridge: a pleasant host with a warm, light touch. The house, which is about 40 mins. east of Lyon, is in a large, ancient village with small supermarket, bakery etc., nestled under a vast and dramatic cliff, with gorges and pools you can explore. The characterful house is almost a century old, with quaint tiled floors and antique rugs. Crisp sheets and towels! Simplicity is the key, and this is a cosy home. We appreciated Ludo's kindness and the affordability of his accommodation, and we warmly commend it.
