Luxurious accommodation in converted barn

Sure, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to gardens, forest and lake! In 2022, we embarked on an exciting project to transform the barn on my grandfather's parent farm into a luxury leisure home. In May 2023 we finished the one apartment and in the autumn the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the patio in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Loading the car is included in the price.

This cabin you will find next to the petting lake in the middle of the Småland forests about 30 minutes outside Jönköping. You will find your own jetty by boat 100 meters through the forest from the cabin. 3-minute walk, you also have a beautiful public swimming area with summer café. Approximately 4 km from the cottage there is a grocery store, pizzeria and train station.

2 km outside Hok's community, 30 km south of Jönköping you will find this cottage. The cottage is located in nice surroundings with forest and fields. The cottage is located at Hoks naturcamping - a quiet and familiar campsite. As a neighbor we have Hook's mansion, where you can play golf or enjoy their nice spa. There are very nice hiking areas in adjacent forests and meadows. This is perfect for those who travel with a dog or like to walk in the woods and land. The cottage is not rented for a long period.

The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, using a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

Our cosy guest house has its own entrance and is located in the same building as our garage on our spacious yard. By car it is 20 minutes away from the city Jönköping and the E4. Downstairs there is a small pentry, a kitchen table and toilet. Upstairs there is one double bed and two single beds. Note that bed sheets and towels are not included but can be rented for 100 SEK per person. Pillows and duvets are included.

Get close to the nature and enjoy the tranquility of our newly built (2023) guest house. The guesthouse is located next to our permanent residence. The property offers a private beach with jetty for swimming, and wood-fired sauna right on the lake. The forest is outside the step so is good for the mushroom and berry picker. The lake also offers good fishing for the interested (perch, pike and cuddle).
