I had a wonderful stay with the family. Каныбек picked me up from Kara Balta for 1000 som and then I paid for 1000 som per day for food. Elnur always cooked for me if I was hungry and was very kind and welcoming. Her son speaks English and it was fun communicating in half English, Russian and trying to learn kyrgyz words. It was lovely and funny to spend time with Opa too. I love that they have the perfect balance between taking care of you and letting you be. The surroundings are beautiful and you can walk into the mountains from their home. I recommend for a simple, rural stay.

The location was right in the centre on a pleasant street. The room/bathroom was very nice, as was the courtyard around which the various rooms are situated. A few recommendations / notes, however. There was no bathroom hot water for me before breakfast as the couple in the adjacent room used it all as the boiler is small and shared. Additionally, the bathroom mirror was so low that it focused on my stomach. But importantly...and very strangely, there was no opaque curtain on the window, which directly faced the bed and main courtyard, so at night there is no privacy and light shines through. I would recommend this stay though. The family was also welcoming and helpful.

Host to warn a little in advance because depending on where it is, it doesn't pick up ^^ after on site there is a network Batina, the mom is a sweetheart welcomes us into their home and shares their daily life We wanted to go on a horseback trek and she found it for us directly because Ilias the hotel offers it and he runs a yurt camp at the upper lake, a very good spot :) to really recommend thank you for hosting us 🤍🤍🤍
