Places to stay in Shutesbury
Experience farm life at our secluded permaculture homestead. Cozy, clean and comfortable and just across the street from the animal barn which houses our horses, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens and livestock guardian dog (all super friendly and VERY into cuddles). Conveniently located just minutes from Amherst town center (4 miles). A perfect woodland getaway with easy access to the Robert Frost Trail and Metacomet Monadnock Trail.
Our farm is located on a quiet, rural dirt road, surrounded by forest and edged by a babbling brook. Here, my mother and I, as well as a crew of seasonal interns, work to realize a vision for our 13 acres in which the land both provides for our survival needs and is made healthier in the process. You can help support this vision by staying with us! Built in 1812, our farm house is rustic, though well kept. The bedroom itself is separate from the other downstairs living spaces and has a private feel. Our friendly flat coat retriever, Oscar, though an outdoor dog, will greet you as you arrive. Our Border collie, Elka, and Havanese, Pumpkin, spend their nights inside and will happily snuggle you by the fire in the evenings. Clearly, being an animal lover is a must for this farm stay.
We are a 5 min drive from Cushman Market and Cafe. There are also many miles of hiking trails that are accessible through our backyard.
  • Such a lovely place! Relaxing, filled to the brim with interesting books, and home to several very friendly dogs. This homestead is nestled on a quiet backroad and within walking distance to the Robert Frost trail. Zoe and family made me feel welcome, and I will definitely be back when I’m in the area!

  • Zoe is really friendly, the Traveler's Room was very cozy, and the dogs are the best. I'll definitely stay here again if I end up back in Amherst.

  • Absolutely loved staying here! I unfortunately was sick most of the time, but it was a very peaceful getaway especially since I wasn't feeling well. Couldn't have asked for a better place to have a bit of respite. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and the animals were lovely. Would love to come stay again.

  • This is honestly one of the best stays ever. THEY HAVE ANIMALS what else could you ask for? The Horse kisses and sheep being like wooly puppies are the only thing I need to be happy for the rest of my life.

  • Zoe's place is exactly where you want to go if you're looking for relaxation, off the grid, in a very chill farmhouse. It feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, but you're close to some great restaurants and other fun stuff in Amherst and Hadley.

Choose from two lovely guest rooms with double beds in a cozy, clean and quiet wooded setting. Enjoy the view and calm from the large front deck, or smaller upper deck. My home is a colorful, living gallery of local artist's work with 1.5 shared bathrooms. Coffee and tea are always available. I work from home frequently, and am happy to answer questions.
This is a family home on a rural dirt road with two hundred beautiful acres of woodland and streams. We are 20 minutes from Amherst, MA. and just minutes from the Montague Bookmill, Peace Pagoda, Montague Retreat Center and Temenos Retreat Center as well as 10 minutes from Quabbin Reservoir trails. There is one affectionate large dog named Darby, and young cat named Spikely to welcome you.
The Village Coop is a mile and half away down the road and has coffee, food and high speed internet and is a wonderful community space. I am also 10 minutes away from the Montague Bookmill which is another local gathering spot with not only wonderful bookstore, but great restaurants with fantastic river view and gift store. Lake Wyola is 10 minutes away for state park swimming and trails in summer. The Montague Retreat Center and Temenos retreat center are within 5 miles, and the Quabbin reservoir is wonder for hiking and wildlife.
  • We had a wonderful stay. Lois was very communicative, kind, helpful in helping us find our way around the area. She has very friendly animals that were a joy to interact with. A super creative house. Clean, comfy warm bed and shower. Great breakfast suggestion at the local co-op and an art exhibit at a local museum. Short and easy drive to Northampton where we love walking around and getting tea. Will definitely plan to stay there again the next time we are heading up north.

    Michelle2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our second stay with Lois was as great as the first, definitely thinking to arrange a third. Her cat Spikely and dog Darby bring lots of playful fun to evening chats. Peaceful place, nice conversation, cozy bed! Lois Lane is the place to be.

    Mark2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful time staying here. It was a beautiful comfortable space, on magical land, and Lois was an excellent host. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Lois’ place is a gem in the country. Had a wonderful time here and absolutely fell in love with her dog and cat. Plan to stay there again.

  • Lois is a fantastic host. Her home is so interesting and in such a beautiful wooded setting. Our 11 year old loved her dog and cat and we did too! Thank you Lois!

    Robert2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lois has a wonderful out-of-the-way country home in a deeply peaceful setting, full of eclectic charm and fantastic artistic surprises everywhere. Lois is kind and very real, a great conversationalist, and her wonderful dog and cat, Darby and Spikely, will want to be your new best friends. We miss them already. If you want to get away from it all, but still feel like you're in a welcoming home, "Lois Lane" is the place you're looking for.

    Mark2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Lois's place two weeks ago and decided to go back for another overnight. It is a very pleasant and quiet retreat in the woods, and Lois is a great host!

    Diane2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Lois's house features unique touches and and a welcoming dog. Cute alcove rooms and, most importantly, a wonderful responsive understanding host.

  • Everything at Letha's was sparkling clean, comfy and cozy. She even provided us with snacks and water!

    Roberta2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Letha is a great host! The place was sparkling clean and we had everything we needed. Great location for UMass students. Letha always responded promptly with anything we needed or asked for. Would definitely stay here again!

    Matthew2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We are visiting the school nearby. The host, Letha, was super nice. We greeted us when we arrived, introduced us to the room, and exchanged enthusiastic information about the school with us. Her eldest son went to school in Kitanoyama and also offered her son to help share a lot. This landlord feels very warm! The interior of the room is well-equipped, comfortable, and tastefully furnished! If you have the opportunity to study nearby, then come often!

    曦云2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Letha’s place was perfect, it had everything we needed and more! The apartment was beautifully decorated, spotless, and super cozy. Letha was super welcoming and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. We would stay here again and would recommend here to anyone needing to stay in the area!

    Brooke2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was a perfect place for us to stay while we helped our daughter move into an apartment for grad school. Letha's place is ideally located within minutes to campus and our daughter's apartment. Letha offered to help us and our daughter with anything we needed . The apartment was clean, nicely arranged with beautiful flowering plants. She included unexpected amenities such as bottled water/coffee/fruit and bagels with cream cheese. A great way to start our day. We definitely plan on returning when we visit our daughter.

    Maurine2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Exceeded in my expectations. Left as a very happy guest!

    Ashley2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Letha is an amazing Hostess. I had previously stayed at an airbnb and felt a little out of place and awkward. Not at Letha's house! From the time I checked in I felt like part of the family. Her personal touches made me feel right at home and communicating with her was simple and I always received a fast response! The deal we received for the amount of space and privacy we had was incredible!! I highly recommend booking here during your next stay at an airbnb.

  • We had a wonderful time staying in April’s yurt and would love to come back again. The interior was beautifully decorated and we were given a lot of privacy. There’s no heat inside so be prepared if you go in colder weather. The fire pit was a great addition!

    Morgan2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice place to stay for a weekend getaway. Definitely a unique experience. Would recommend if the weather is warm or probably in October. I think once it hits November, since it’s more north than NYC it’s a bit too cold for my liking. But will definitely try to return when the weather is nicer. April is a fantastic host and even let us try some of the pears she recently harvested! :)

    Jessica2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Despite the cold weather, we had an excellent stay in the yurt. The location was beautiful and quiet, and the yurt itself was spotless and very well equipped. One thing to note is that I lost cell reception once we arrived, so make sure you ask any questions you might have before arrival! Thanks for a great stay, April!

    Rachael2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Staying in the yurt was a great, cozy getaway. I wish we'd been able to stay longer and explore the area more, and also enjoy the chance to really be away.

    Jennifer2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice little place, cozy and fun.

    Douglas2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay. Had everything we needed. The yurt is extremely well decorated. All very thoughtful. We had an option of a big hotel room- this is the choice to make - hands down. Knowing there was no heat source we wanted this option anyway. Even though it was COLD in the morning getting up, we were comfy sleeping.

    Ginny2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully appointed yurt in a lovely secluded woodland setting. Clever lighting options make the interior stunning as the night draws in. Very comfy and relaxing stay.

    Antony2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • We were traveling back from coastal Maine, and found this yurt on Airbnb. It wasn't experienced we have been hoping for for a while, so it was with great excitement that we ended up at April's beautiful space. You have all the privacy you could want, and the accommodations are clean and gorgeous. April is a dyer, and she creates gorgeous "pragmatic art" in the form of pillows and bedspreads. You see them in the pictures, but seeing them in person and also meeting April, it brings them to life, making them all the more beautiful. If you want a very simple stay, with everything you need provided--but glamping style, with solar lights, firepit, composting toilet, solar shower hanging from a clothesline, BOOK IT! Much joy in our memories of being there. Thank you, April.

If you love a funky, creative and eclectic bohemian environment, you will love it here! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and bohemians of all ages. You'll have the privacy you need. The bedroom I am offering is called the Vintage Bower and features old records and memorabilia of that nature. If you need tips on the arts and music life in the Valley I have info for you. I prefer to meet guests before extending a booking longer than a week. If you have extenuating circumstances needing longer than one week, please contact me to explain your situation and we may be able to work out a special offer for your stay.
The Central Street neighborhood is very diverse. It is one block up on the Hill above the downtown. There are triple decker apartment buildings, single family homes of varying vintage from the 1870s to the 1930s, and a headstart preschool in an old school building. In this neighborhood are published authors and poets, experimental musicians, single mothers and children, business people, people with disabilities in group housing, artists, bikers, and all types of people. Generally this is a quiet street and people are friendly. It is very convenient to all of the town.

This is an old house and full of art objects and colorful, funky style. It can be a bit drafty in winter. It has high ceilings and plaster walls, so will tend to be dustier than a modern house. Nevertheless, people find it very comfortable, and interesting, to visit here! As far as stays longer than one week, I prefer to meet you first before committing to such an arrangement, unless there are exceptional circumstances which we will work out together in advance. Please contact me with your request.

  • To rest it's phenomenal. If you want to interact they're there; if not they don't pry/they aren't intrusive. Also, the shower is as hot or cold as you need it.

  • Carol and Erold provide a wonderful space that is clean, bright and comfortable. The beds and pillows are good quality and the appliances are all new and work well. There are plenty of plush towels, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, some cleaning supplies and quality soap (shower, bathroom sink and dish detergent). I particularly enjoyed that eco-friendly products were provided. Additionally, the shower has excellent pressure. Basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, teas, some condiments, cooking oil, etc were also available, which was a very nice touch. The communication was easy and fast and Carol made sure to check on how the stay was going after we got settled (through Airbnb website). The location was absolutely perfect too. It was a 7 minute drive into Amherst centre but far enough away to be nice a quite. I would highly recommend a stay at the Bailey’s Apartment.

  • Nice location!

  • The place of Carol and Erold is even better than we can see in the pictures! Everything was clean, organised and working. I spent 7 days with my husband and baby and we felt very comfortable. We do recommend the place!

  • Look no further...Carol and Erold's place is a great home away from home. The location is located with quick access to Amherst, Northampton, and South Hadley (all within a 10-15 minute drive). The peacefulness, quiet, and amenities were perfect for a weeklong getaway in Western MA. Their airbnb has a full kitchen, great bathroom, two rooms, and a living room space. It was a great stay and I'd definitely return when/if I'm in the area again.

  • This lakehouse is super charming. We went for a serene New Year's getaway and it did not disappoint! The house is super clean, with great amenities for a staycation. Eve and Bob were very responsive and assisted us with anything we needed. The lake was frozen and perfectly serene. There is lots to do in the nearby area as well. Lovely neighbors, great location..... it was the perfect spot for us and we hope to come back in warmer seasons.

  • Great house in a beautiful pocket of Western Mass. Everything was easy from start to finish. Great food co-op a short drive away and easy access to Amherst. Can’t wait to go back when it is warm so we can jump into that lake!

  • Had a wonderful stay here. The home is lovely, with a beautiful views of lake. The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen well-appointed. There's a landline phone guests may use, which was especially appreciated as we had no Verizon cell service. Wifi was good and made texting possible, so communications were fine. We were delighted to have a Keurig coffee maker and plenty of coffee pods provided. Great hosts. Hope to stay here again.

  • I loved staying in the Blue Room in Athena's home. I felt welcome, safe and cared for. I appreciated the feeling of privacy and rest that the private room provided. The room is exactly as described and as it appears in Athena's photos. The bed and pillows are comfortable, the sunlight in the room is beautiful, the shared bathroom is fine. Parking is no stress, as you just park in back of the house. A restaurant and a good coffee shop are right around the corner, a two-minute walk away and it's an easy 10-minute walk to the main streets of town. Athena is lovely, friendly, positive, relaxed, welcoming, kind. I would stay with her again.

    Caroline2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Athena is warm and communicative! Check-in was a breeze and her home is extremely conveniently located to downtown Northampton. I'll definitely be back!

    Christine2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Athena’s place is such a great home with wonderful touches of classic NE living. She’s got a convenient location to the surrounding shops and eateries, so staying a few days for work was pleasant experience. I highly recommend staying here, and have already confirmed times to go back again and stay. Enjoy yours!

    Adam2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Athena's house is magical! It is just around the corner from Joe's Pizza House, which my son loves to visit. It is a charming house, very comfortable and clean and Athena is the best host. We keep returning to her every time we visit Northampton.

  • My first stay at an Airbnb. I just needed a quick place for the night and this place was perfect!

    Timothy2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great historic place.Really nice host.

    Laura2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Athena's place attracts a warm community of friends and helpers who are all very welcoming. There were always people coming and going to help with the cat and with watering the plants while I was there. The walk from her place to Smith College gets a bit tiring if you have to make the trek multiple times in the winter, but Athena's friends offered me rides a few times, which was a great perk. Really fun and artsy decor in the house as well, including lots of houseplants and disco balls and prisms in the windows which made the place sparkle. I will definitely keep Athena's place in mind for the future!

  • Ava was a kind and attentive host who made sure I had everything I needed during the stay. I was able to checkin early, and Ava dropped me off at the train station after check-out, which I really apprecaited! The room was clean and cozy, and it had really great amenities like a closet, lanndry basket and lotion. The area is beautiful for walks and there is a bus stop nearby that runs to downtown Amherst. I had a great experience and would have loved to stay there longer!

  • This was a great place to stay. The room was great and clean, and it was very comfy to be in as well. I was greeted by Ava as I came in, and I felt right at home as I entered. Plus having the muffin was a great thing added on. Next time I come up to Amherst, if the room is available I will definitely stay here again

  • This is a really charming home in a lovely location and I would not hesitate in giving it a high recommendation. The description was very accurate and this space is ideal for someone looking for a room in a private house. The host, Ava, is very warm and accommodating and I felt comfortable sharing her home. It turned out that we have quite a bit in common and even though my stay was a brief one, I felt like I was connecting with an old friend. Parking is easy. It is near a beautiful pond and conveniently located to Amherst and the surrounding Connecticut River valley region.

  • Very nice place, close to a great breakfast spot (Cushman Market) & a bus into downtown Amherst. It is a little bit of a walk to the bus stop, and there aren't sidewalks on that stretch of road, but I would say it's in a very nice area that's pleasant to walk through. Still might be something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues & rely on public transportation. (Also, when you walk into this room you do need to walk down some steps, which is another thing to keep in mind in terms of accessibility). Overall, I'd say staying here was a very nice experience & I would certainly recommend the place.

We are working on bringing this 1890’s house back to life, and would love to host you! A short drive to hiking at the Quabbin and not far from the 5 colleges and Springfield, this house has a few quirks but offers a cozy place to stay on your travels! As a guest you will have the simple yet comfortable private upstairs bedroom to yourself as well as shared access to the downstairs bathroom, spacious kitchen, living room, and outdoor areas.
Coffee, tea, and simple breakfast items (oatmeal, cereal, toast, butter, jam) will be provided. You are welcome to use the kitchen at any time. Things to note: -we have pets! A cat, rabbit, and axolotl. You may close the door to your room to keep the cat out, but the Warebnb is not suitable for guests with pet allergies. The rabbit lives in a cage but sometimes is let out to hop around. - the road can be busy during the day, but tends to quiet down at night. - There are shops within walking distance but you likely will want to have a car to get to the house easily. There is plenty of parking available in the driveway.
We are within walking distance to the up-and-coming town center with restaurants and shops. You can cut through the forested trails to walk to grocery stores and fast food locations, or make the 3 minute drive. Check out Workshop 13 in Ware for events and art classes! Hannah Devines has good food and weekly specials. Rose 32 Bread is an amazing bakery and a 10 minute drive from the house! For a slightly classier meal, check out The Salem Cross Inn nearby.

  • I stayed here for three weeks and commuted to UMass Amherst daily. The area is safe and quiet, and the house is very clean and well kept. It gets a little warm in August, but Tony’s mom left me with a few fans that kept my room nice and comfy. Definitely a good deal compared to more expensive places in the area!

    Rachel2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Good neighbourhood and good value accommodation.

    Simon2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This space was a great home away from home. I did a long-term stay for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. The room was comfortable, quiet, and private, while the common areas allowed an opportunity to socialize with other AirBNBers in the house. Between all of us, a lot of delicious cooking happened in the shared kitchen. There was plenty of space to park my car, and being halfway between Amherst and Northampton made it easy to explore both towns. The room itself was nicely furnished with a big bed, lots of pillows, desk-space, and a great high-backed chair to read Dickens in. Providing candles was a really nice touch. I definitely recommend this space!

Co-Vid19 Update: We have ALWAYS wiped every surface with CDC-approved Chlorox Cleaner + Bleach, AND washed all blankets/covers with HOT water after EVERY guest, & unless you request early check-in: there is always a 5-hour interval between guests - no staff or other guests & keypad check-in. ONLY changes: 1) gloves for housekeeping; 2) we provide bottled water instead of Brita; 3) we offer single-use Keurig coffee capsules. **Help with delivery available for small additional fee.
Notable Information: 1. We have fast Xfinity/Comcast wireless internet but do NOT subscribe to cable TV. Our Vizio TV comes with a ROKU so guests are welcome to use their own Netflix or Hulu, etc. or attach their Smartphone to our HDMI cable (you will need your own adaptor). 2. We can accept early check-in and late checkout requests WHERE POSSIBLE. Keep in mind we are always close to 100% occupancy, which means that there is almost always one or multiple guests (up to 6) before you - so often we need the entire 11-4 housekeeping window - message Tim with your request the evening before if possible (at which point we will have latest info). 3. No open flame candles, matches or lighters, or smoking allowed on property (or within 30 ft. of building), and do NOT move furniture without permission. 4. 13 Finn Street is 1/2 mile from the center of America's #1 Small Liberal Arts Town - AKA "Lesbianville, USA" - and now one of America's Top 10 Adventure Towns! Finn Street (at King St.) is also steps (heading away from the center of town) from MacDonald's, Taco Bell/KFC, Moe's Stop 'n Shop (large grocery store with a Starbuck's:), Liquor's 44 (large discount liquor store) - with a small package store 50' across the street. We are in the city so our location is not whisper quiet - some street noise during busy traffic hours - quieter than the Hotel Northampton though at 1/3 the price!
  • Fantastic space!

  • Tim and Michelle were great hosts, very quick to respond and seamless check in process. Their house is big with ample room to hangout as a group and within easy walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

  • This is a great place. It lives up to the positive reviews it gets. Close to the action in downtown Northampton. Roomy and clean, heating system works great, as does the internet and tv. Clean with fully functioning kitchen. Safe neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay here and would gladly come again.

    Alex2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place to stay!

    Dan2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The house is huge and clean, great value for the price! Their are 3 bedrooms each with it's own door for privacy. The house also includes 2 beds on the 1st floor off the Kitchen & Living room. We only stayed for 1 night because it was a last minute reservation, however, we would love to return and experience the neighborhood when it gets warmer. I'd recommend this place... my dad loved it :-)

The house is situated on the Saw Mill river. It is surrounded by woods. We are ten minutes from Umass Amherst and ten minutes from Greenfield. • Being our very first experience with Airbnb we weren't sure what to expect from any rental we choose. Elaine's accommodations and laid back hospitality exceeded our expectations and made the whole experience positive. The room and half bath were sparkling clean and private, the bed very comfy, the location and setting peaceful and a perfect location for our purposes. The Montague area is one of the best locales Western MA has to offer - out in the country yet convenient to all surrpunding hotspots. Would highly recommend and certainly return. Be sure to visit the Montague Book Mill (which is right around the corner) !

    Karen2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Elaine was great! She communicated everything clearly and was there if we had any questions. The place was in a nice, quiet location near the Montague Book Mill and the space itself was very private. Would highly recommend!

  • Elaine is a very sweet host. The place was clean and beautiful. It’s better to get there earlier in the day as it’s a bit tucked away and hard to see in the dark. But the house and room are great and Elaine was very welcoming.

    Aishwarya2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Elaine’s place was great. We spent just one night there with our six month old daughter, but Elaine was friendly, welcoming and attentive. She fosters community between the guests and we shared a nice breakfast with a family from Germany. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Be sure to check out the Book Mill nearby.

  • Was in the area to visit a school this weekend with my son. Elaine’s place was an excellent choice. Perfect location. Big (a lot more than just “a room in a house”). We stayed in a basement room - almost a bachelor suite! Super clean. Comfy beds. Beautiful property. We would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the large rural property. And I’d definitely stay there again when we’re back in the area. I highly recommend it. Really - book it quick - before its unavailable. Thank you Elaine! Merci... Jon

  • Very lovely home in a great location. The room is as described, clean and comfortable. It is in a shared home but still feels very private. However, there were no instructions or information regarding the kitchen so even though it's listed as a shared kitchen I did not feel comfortable to use anything. Would recommend and would return!

    Ally2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • I had an excellent stay at Elaine’s place! I didn’t expect it to be as private and comfortable as it was. And her quick responses to my questions was very much appreciated. The house was in a perfect location for a wedding I was attending at the Montague Retreat Center, which was only 1.4 miles away. Would love to stay again!

The neighborhood is surrounded by large, lovely trees. Amherst has wonderful small town charm, with favorite spots like the Black Sheep Cafe and Amherst Cinema. On the outskirts of town, the rolling hills and farms supply us with rural beauty and sustenance. We look forward to sharing our favorite places with you.
  • I've spent several weeks at JuPong's home. She is a great host. My room (the Refuge room) was large, comfortable, and quiet. It has a gigantic bathroom. And both have a nice view on the woods and the pond downhill. The house is located outside Amherst, but a bus stop is literally around the corner while another bus line is accessible within a ten-minute walk. To get some exercise, I chose to commute every day to UMass by bike (less than 4 miles). I definitely recommend this place!

  • This is a magical, special place. Jupong's home is beautiful and full of nature and art. There are forests and streams and trails just outside her house, but there's just as much beauty inside her home. It feels like a little community, a gathering place for travelers, artists, students, humans of all ages and backgrounds. She sincerely cares about the wellbeing and needs of her guests, and was always available for any question or request. This particular room, the "Refuge", is a peaceful and beautiful space, with an attached private bathroom that is the most luxurious I have ever seen. I came with a car but public transportation is available and the little town of Amherst is very cute and quite nearby. I'm sure anyone who comes here will have a wonderful experience.

  • My overnight stay in Annabelle and Rodri’s home was just perfect, from the greeting when I checked in to conversation before heading off to bed. The room was welcoming and spacious and I slept better than I had in a long time. From this location, we went to dinner in Amherst, a dance program at Hampshire and down to mount Holyoke college all within a short drive. Though the house is just off the main road, when you wake up you look out the window into the woods. It’s very pleasant and peaceful. I would happily stay here again.

  • Really great stay! Super clean, comfy bed, big room with lots of privacy. Lots of nice touches - flowers in the room and chocolate. I especially liked the lava lamp nightlight in the bathroom. Annabelle and Rodri were fine with a late check in and were very kind. Would definitely stay again if I am in the area.

  • Annabelle and Rodrigo were excellent hosts! They greeted me on arrival, showed me around their house and offered to help me get my luggage into the house. We had great interaction with each other and offered great tips when I had questions. Will definitely plan on staying here again!

  • I had a lovely and quick visit at Annabelle's home. The room was big and comfortable, I slept well, everything was extremely clean. There is road noise as the home is on a fairly busy road, but it didn't prevent me from sleeping. Annabelle and Rodri could not be nicer!

  • Annabelle and Rodri are “Super, Super Hosts” with the mostest!!!! I had the most amazing 1st Airbnb stay. They will be my go to home away from home (California) when visiting my sons at UMass. Their home is gorgeous, peaceful, relaxing and homey. The room is spacious, light and bright with many windows with an awesome wooded view. Accommodated my early arrival, wonderful check in experience and timely communication. Many wonderful conversations over tea and coffee. Treated me just like family. Two most lovely souls❤️ Lori P.
