Eric's place is very comfortable and well-located. Eric is among the best hosts I've met because of his kindness, accuracy and attention for the travellers. He offers quite a lot of local tips and shows you the whole location, making it quite easy to get familiar with the local amenities the first moment you arrive. Our stay there was pleasant, and the next time we visit Crete, Eric's apartment is for sure a place we'll stay in again.

Eric is one of the best hosts we've experienced! He gave us super hints where to go and what we could do. He's very helpful, always available and simply a cool guy. The area around Reddoorcorner is quiet but at the same time there is everything in a few meters distance (supermarkets, bakery, tavernas, butcher, etc). We totally enjoyed our time at Reddoorcorner and recommend it to everyone!

We only stayed 2 days / 3 nights with Eric but we had an amazing time! When we arrived we got a warm and kind welcome with a little tour through the cute village. Eric was a great host and always happy to help! The appartment is such a cute little home, equipped with everything you need. There are several mini markets in the village and different bars and restaurants. The beaches are very close. If you would like to spend some time in an „original“ Cretan atmosphere, this is the place to be. Thank you Eric for your kindness and support! It was great meeting you and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

There is no better host one can wish for. Eric is fast with replying to questions, has plenty of suggestions when you would like to know places to visit & restaurants to eat at and is exceptionally friendly. His Loft is nice and stylish and the village of Palekastro is very nice too - everybody is very friendly and welcoming and we will definetely return in the future.

The accommodation is perfect. There is nothing to complain about: cleanliness, decoration, location, everything is fine. The small complex is tucked away in a beautiful peaceful location but is within an easy walk 10 mins max into the small friendly village with a vibrant atmosphere with great restaurants and bars. The nearest beach is lovely and only a 20 minute walk.

Nice hostess who answers directly. She was also often in the plant on site and looked to the right. We liked the pool quite well, which was also lit romantic in the evening. It is about 5 minutes walk from the village, so the area is very quiet. The place is pretty and there are great tavernas. In the surrounding area you can also plan great trips. We also liked that the apartments are built in a great style and the area is not that big. From some apartments you also have a good view. You should definitely take back mosquito spray, as there are some mosquitoes. All in all, it was relaxed.

Beautiful, just outside and quiet apartments surrounded by olive trees. With a great view from the terrace to the private pool and the bay of Palekastro. There are especially wind and kite surfers at their expense. In the small town itself, there are nice taverns to end the evening. We'll be back!

The apartment was very nice, quiet and clean. the communication with katerina was great and she was very nice. I book this apartment at any time gladly again.

I recommend the flat for a small family (1-2 children), nice place to be, calm, nice swimming pool ... and we have been well received by Katerina and her staff.

Located on lovely flower-infused grounds, the rooms are well-kept and Manos is very friendly and eager to offer advice. Only a 5 minute walk from the town's restaurants and perhaps a 20 minute walk to the windsurfing beach. An excellent find!

The house has a great charachter and a great atmosphere! Virginie is a super host, very helpful and willingfull to help with any problems. The house needs some more care, so it's price is fair for what it provides. I would difintely love to stay there again.

A place very exotic and authentic. The view is very beautiful. We had a happy stay. There are pretty little nooks in the house which is quite rustic and offers good bedding / a nice little kitchen and a shady patio. The region is bathed by the wind which gives a soft atmosphere during the heat. The surrounding beaches and nature are probably for everyone the opportunity to relax. The village is small but offers taverns / mini market and the shop of the hostess (really very very friendly) is worth a look especially for photographs.

Virginie is a great host and the house has an amazing outdoor space with a beautiful bougainvillea. Inside, it has an authentic traditional atmosphere which we loved. The location is perfect for short trips to all the nice beaches and taverns in the area. We had a wonderful time in the house and we are already planning our return there and to East Crete!

The house location is superb: on the edge of the village with spectacular views of the olive groves and the sea. The area is quite windy, but the house itself is very peaceful: you immerse yourself into the traditional Cretan vibe and feel the time slow down when you step in. The house is rustic, but comfortable. Kitchen has all the necessities; we cooked several delicious meals there and enjoyed them on the beautiful veranda. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Highly recommended!

Village house, close to shops and beaches, ideally located for the discovery of the East of Crete, perfectly equipped and clean, tastefully decorated to feel at home. Maria communicates very quickly in French and English. Her mother Voula offers a warm welcome, spoils her guests and gives good advice in Greek. A superb stay in a beautiful house where you want to come back. I really recommend and I hope to see them again. Sto kalo.

Everything was just perfect - all the rooms were sparkling clean, comfortable beds, kitchen amenities were great - much more that you would expect in a regular apartment. We also had a very polite visitor every day and evening, a cute cat called Manuella (which I hope, we didn't spoiled too much, but we simply loved her company) :-).

Staying at Marias house was great. It is spacious and very clean. The washing mahcine is definitly a neat feature! Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to coming again next year.

A very clean, very roomy and cozy house, located in a very quiet and friendly neigborhood.

Maria is a very nice host and extremely accurate. She speaks a very good English and manages the renting of her endearing mother's house. The house is located in the middle of the dreamy village of Paleokastro close to the very nice church. Although placed right in the center, it is a calm place with no through traffic. The native neighbours are very kind but mostly not speaking English. It is one of the nicest houses in the district and looks like just refurbished. Handling was easy, the kitchen is fully equipped and likeable. We did use it a lot as there are great shops around with fresh vegetables, fruits and meat. Eating outside in the front court has quite a special atmosphere. The parents bedroom has a brand new and quiet air-condition and a tiny nice balcony. The kids had their own floor on top with their own bathroom. Although not air-conditioned it was well aerated and absolutely good to go even in July (especially due to the constantly blowing Meltemi-winds). The bathrooms are small but good to go and fancy - especially the sitz bath I did like. All windows are brand new too, have perfectly operating fly screens and can be fully shaded. All in all it was one great honour using that outstanding house and being part of the so kind residents of Crete.

Superb view on Kouremenos beach, specious grill area in front of the house, well equipped. Recommend it.

Michalis and Niki are excellent hosts, who go the extra mile for their guests. We arrived late due to a delayed flight, but they stayed on and were there to greet us when we arrived at the house. Niki had made a delicious plate of stuffed local vegetables, plus we we presented with a basket full of local produce - all delicious and greatly appreciated. Kouremenos Sea View House is a very special place to stay. The location is perfect if you are looking for somewhere quiet and a bit off the beaten track. We were a party of 2, so the house felt very spacious, but would be very comfortable for 4 adults too. There are some lovely extra touches around the house like soaps and candles which made the place feel very welcoming. The house has good outside space with stunning views across Kouremenos Bay, as well as the valley (full of olive trees). There is a large covered barbecue area and easy parking for two cars. The road leading to the house is a steep rough track, so take care with your rent-a-car! We managed fine with a small Panda. The nearest town is Palekastro - 7 minutes drive. Some good restaurants, small bakery, mini markets (larger supermarket in Sitia if you want to stock up) and a very helpful pharmacy! Lovely beach side restaurants at Chiona beach - we ate at the very end one, with tables perched just above the sea. The best yogurt and local honey ever! Good beaches all around the area, as ever the best ones are a bit hidden, so be prepared to walk. We were also interested in Minoan ruins and there are some good ones to be seen plus lovely walks to be had (2 local gorges) - we visited in October, so heat was bearable - in high summer you would need to start very early... If you are looking for a quiet, calm, laid back, easy holiday - we would highly recommended this place. You will enjoy!

A great stay in a wonderful villa! Open the door early morning and you are in wonderful world here! The cosiness, stylish interior and exterior, cleanliness, sea views and the area around the house are gorgeous! Anti-mosquito nets on each window, beautiful filling Kitchen and home! But you have to have a little bit of brave to go up to villa)) But you think it’s OK very soon!! But the most important thing is the attitude of the hosts - Michalis and his family - wonderful wonderful people who conquered us Hospitality! The house is set high on the hill and the views are stunning and incredible, not just over Kourmenous beach as advertised, in the near distance, but over the entire valley of Palekastro and Agathias. The small house was very suitable for our simple needs — two bedrooms, bathroom and open plan kitchen/dining. The outdoor space is much times larger with good seating on three sides of the house, to follow or escape the sun. Very quiet area with no noise or interference and just 10 mins drive to the beach or the small town with plenty of tavernas and shops. Just exactly what this elderly couple wanted ! Peace , quiet and serenity. A car is essential to enjoy all this area promises, and the main roads in east Crete are generally quiet,good and easy to drive, but once you go off main road you must seriously beware of damage to tyres and underneath of the car as your insurance typically won’t cover this . Beach roads can be like this. The final kilometer to the house is off road and the ascent and descent requires first and second gear driving. Michalis and Niki were waiting for us to arrive and fully assisted us by phone in finding the house. GPS is not always dependable in Crete, because of the variety of unnamed mountain roads. They had a wonderful welcome lunch ready for us, totally unexpected and much appreciated. They were available to us on phone and text at all times. They are a lovely young welcoming couple. The house is very well kitted out , full kitchen facilities with some nice touches here and there. My wife won’t let me complain about the bed - says my weight is the real issue here ......

Manos is friendly and helpful and the room as described. I think the space stands out because of the garden, which is attentive and smells great! Overall this is a very quiet place where you feel close to nature! The beaches of the area are incredibly beautiful!

My friends and I came from Heraklion for windsurfing in kouremenos and we were amazed by the room, the breakfast and location. The hosts are very friendly and always there if we needed something! We recommend this place and we sure will be coming again soon!!

Manos and his wife were great hosts. Very welcoming and full of helpful recommendations for things to do in the area and around all of Crete.

Palakastro is the place to come to recharge your batteries and manos and his family are very kind and helpful . The room I had was a double with two single mattresses on a double bed frame. It was a large clean room with a spacious balcony. If bathroom has a shower and there was a fridge. The room was lesst clean and I was supplied with clean linen every two days. The town is quite small but it has quite a busy road running through it. Fortunately my room had double glazing so I had a very quiet nights sleep. The room also had ac. There was WiFi cutie reception area act not in my room. The beach is about a 45 minute walk. In fact there are a few to chose between. Lovely natural and not too busy. There are also many tavernas in walking distance small shops, an ATM to get what you need. Downstairs on the street there is a bus you can take to see the palm beach, or visit a beautiful gorge etc. The town of sitia is a twenty minute ride away but the time table is difficult to access. From there you can reach the airport after 3 hours.

We've stayed at House Margot for 2 weeks in July. Every day we've walked to the surfing station. It takes 35 minutes one way. House Margot is in the furthest place from the beach, but all minimarkets are located on the way. If you stay in a hotel closer to the beach, you'll need to walk the same distance to minimarkets and town centre. Anyway walking is very healthy. We've used the kitchen to cook breakfasts and suppers. House Margot has common kitchen, but you'll feel like you're at home. It's better to cook in big common kitchen than to use own small kitchen in other appartments. The room is exactly like on photo. It's very clean and cozy. It was regularly cleaned. The only problem was the wind. It's very strong and loud at night. But we've solved that problem partially. We've opened main door a little with fixing it with a shoe and closed all windows except balcony inner door. Actually you will not need air conditioning. You will need only fan, which is absolutely free to use. Also there in freezer was VERY useful thing - blue box with freezing liquid. We used it every day. Our water, which we took with us was always cold. You won't need to buy water. You can refill your bottles with water from the tube. It has excellent quality. And about Manos. He's excellent host! He helped us in everything. He adviced us a lot of very interesting places to visit. He told us everything about Palekastro and Crete and spent with us plenty of his time. We're excited about communication with Manos, he's very friendly and interesting person. We hope to visit him again next year.

We loved Maria’s place in the middle of an olive grove, up of the hills, 5 min drive from a nice village of Paliokastro. The house has character and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space is just enough for a family of 4 with younger kids as the beds in the mezzanine level are under a sloping roof, not good for very tall people. The host is very quick to respond and answered all our questions when we had them, the welcome bottle of wine and the pomegranates was a nice touch of hospitality. The location is fantastic - seclusion and privacy but very close to all the interesting sites around. Our kids enjoyed watching the starts at night. The village has a butcher shop, fish market, min markers, a nice bakery and several good tavernas.

The villa was very nice and had a huge living area with a table that could host big families. It was great having our own little villa in the middle of an olive grove with a lovely interior. Maria’s mother warmly welcomed us and showed us everything. We were welcomed with homemade wine, plenty of raki and fresh eggs. Communication was easy and Maria responded promptly. We arrived there at night so we struggled a bit finding the property in the first place but otherwise, it was just a great experience.

The Villa was really wonderful, in a fully quiet area, very peaceful and restful. It was very pleasant to sit on the terrace and just relax, watching the olive trees. We felt as if we were at home. The Villa was well located, allowing visiting easily the East part of Crete. Maria was really nice with us, providing us with her support at any time on the phone. We stayed a week and everything went smoothly. The hosts were incredibly kind. Their daughter Maria speaks perfect English, which facilitates communication. The place is very quiet and peaceful, the view is splendid. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, we did not miss anything. Everything was clean when we arrived. The photos are in accordance with the villa. One small downside: the bed could be more comfortable. We recommend without hesitation. Thank you for everything.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at the Olive Grove Villa. Maria and her family are excellent hosts! Their genuine hospitality was heartwarming and greatly appreciated throughout our stay. The villa is situated in a very quiet area, in the middle of an Olive Garden, which allowed for peaceful relaxation and privacy. The house was fully equipped during our stay - TV, wifi, a fridge, warm water, kitchenware, stove, beds and linens, to name a few. The house did not have air conditioning but it was NOT NEEDED as the breeze kept us very cool! The place is less than 7 minutes away from a local beach, a mini mart, and restaurants. Roughly 20+ mins away from B’AI beach. Maria was very responsive before and during our stay. She was able to answer our questions and offer us suggestions for activities. BOOK THIS VILLA IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Marianna's place was clean, spacious, and perfect for a weekend stay in Palaikastro. The balcony had a beautiful view (catch the gorgeous sunrise if you can!) and our dog loved the yard in the back. Unfortunately we weren't able to meet Marianna in person, but she was a communicative and thoughtful host. Thanks for everything!

Very nice Apartment in the heart of the village. It is also next to some of the most beautiful beaches of Lasithi. The host has given us really good tips for beaches or any other places and celebrations worth to visit. The place is highly recommendable.

Nice spacious house in quiet village with couple of good restaurants and bakery nearby. Marilen's dad met us and showed us the house - he didn't have much English and we didn't have any Greek but we managed! There was butter, jam and water left in the fridge which was nice. The mattresses on the beds might not be to everyone's liking - bit soft - but good value accommodation and nice outside area.

Very pleasant stay

Marilen's apartment is in fact a totally independent villa with all the desirable comfort for 6 persons: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, fitted kitchen, air conditioning, covered terrace (ideal for breakfast), ... Difficult to criticize otherwise the lack of chairs or luggage racks in the rooms! I add that the villa is located in the center of Paleskastro, close to shops and restaurants, while being completely quiet.

I spent two nights at Vaso's house with my two teenagers, around 19-20 July. Home really adorable, private apartment available is top too. The animals on the property are pretty funny; hens, turkeys and ducks are really not shy ... and even rather uncomfortable if you start feeding them. The honey produced by Vaso and her husband, as well as the organic olive oil of the property are also excellent ... and we brought back a few liters / kilos. The property is 5 minutes from the center of Palaikastro, 10 minutes from the beaches around Vai. Special mention for the restaurant '' Retro ''. After two weeks of Crete tour and 6 accommodations (including a hotel), our stay at Vaso was the best of the trip. Enjoy ...

We really enjoyed our stay at Vaso's. Close to Palekastro and yet secluded. Very clean and comfy, it was awesome. This location is off the main road which was nice because it was quiet and beautiful, we could see the stars. There are chickens and kitties roaming around and Vaso left some eggs for us, which we cooked in the outdoor wood stove. This location is also great to access Vai and Zakros, I would come again. :)

Stay in couple. The house is top, well equipped, maintained, very quiet, the view is superb, we do not get tired. Palekastro is 5 minutes drive and the beaches including Vai too. Giwrgos can not do enough for you. The house is clean and neat, you have to take into account, it's not an all terrain AirBnB, you have to be cautious. Important point to take into account, the wind. Overall, it did not bother us as it avoids the heat and keeps mosquitoes and wasps away. On the other hand, some days, it blows. The parties for eating outside are well sheltered but the pool and the garden are in the wind. The pool is nice, the temperature of the sea. There is an optional Jacuzzi. In short, we had a great week.

A fantastic house with a great view that is never bored. Lovely (small) swimming pool and nice outdoor area for eating and bbq. The beds and bathroom are slightly less but for a week no problem. We are happy to come again!

Villa Aiolos has been an exceptional address in many ways. The reception of Giorgos' father, Giannis, was excellent, with many touches of attention. Place perfectly clean, very well kept, tastefully decorated, whether inside or outside with beautiful plants and a fig tree with juicy fruit. The view of Kouremenos bay and its windsurfers, as well as the surrounding hills and olive groves, is breathtaking. The brand new pool was very popular! The house is located on a mountain ridge and therefore exposed to the winds that can be violent in the area in summer, but its very well thought configuration makes it not a problem at all: you can eat outside at the shelter gusts. Finally, even without air conditioning and at the height of summer, the temperature inside remains very pleasant for a little airy. There are many beaches or coves within a few minutes drive from the house (Vai, Ermoupoli, Maridatis) and the Zakros Gorge are 30 minutes drive. There are excellent restaurants in Palaiokastro but also on Kouremenos beach. In short, we loved our stay, and would recommend this address to anyone who would like to build unforgettable memories of a very nice part of the eastern Cretan coast.

Nice location with beautiful beaches nearby. A wonderfully peaceful place!

During our trip around the east coast of crete, we stayed three days at "Vila Aiolos" - sadly, only three days. It was wonderful and much better than expected - the villa, the beaches (e.g. Erimoupolis and Psili Ammos) and the sea dweller around Kouremenos! The view from the terrace is gorgeous. We had a very friendly welcome by Giannis, which is Giwrgos vather, we think. He and his wife are owning the villa since many years and they are constantly working on it and putting love into every detail. So we treated everything with as much respect as we could - and enjoyed it likewise. Even Kouremenos is the surfing spot of crete and "Vila Aiolos" is built on a hill, it is not windy while sitting on the terrace. Giannis told us everything to know about the house (handle the doors and windows, warm water, using wifi - it's a little, portable device and has a limited contingent, but it was sufficient for us -, the grill, the optional outdoor-shower, automatic gate etc.), gave us very useful infos about beautiful beaches and places to visit and there were water, raki, fruits, honey, butter, showering gels, cleaning agents etc. for us also, even a binocular to have a closer look over the valley. The bed is very comfy and we could directly see the ocean from within. It's very quiet there, day and night, and a mini-market is only 5 minutes away (by car) at Palekastro. Although the kitchen and bathroom could use a renovation, we would return any time.

Incredible whereabout ! On the top of the hill, with an absolute gorgeous view on the sea and all around ! Close to the beach and warm welcome ! We had a lovely time there. Very comfortable house. We loved the figs, the prickly pears and the shower outside.

The location is exactly as shown in the pictures. In the bay you can swim and watch fish in crystal clear water. Also, we enjoyed sitting in front of the house, to see the bay and the "green" and just let the soul. You can order something from the tavern next door. The apartment is functional and has mosquito net, which you can use if necessary. Since the house belongs to the hotel, you can use the pool and the tennis court. In addition, even between cleaning and there are fresh towels. We were welcomed very friendly and uncomplicated and got very good tips for trips and taverns. Thank you, we had a wonderful week!

Three things define the value of real estate: Location, location, and location. And that's why this place is just great. You can't get any closer to the sea. You fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up when the morning sun shines through the window. The taverna next door disturbs the romantic picture a bit with guests coming and going, but on the other hand you just have to walk a few meters if you get hungry. The food is good, but a bit pricey. If you expect to get fresh and cheap fish anywhere on Crete, think again. I guess there is not much fish left in the mediterranean sea. The place has two rooms with double beds and two bunk beds just above the stairs. We were 4 adults and a 5 year old kid and had enough space to be comfortable. The staircase is very narrow and requires a bit of agility. The kitchen area is small, but functional and sufficient. Note that the temperature scale on the oven is in Fahrenheit, not Celsius. The tap water is good to drink, so you don't need to buy bottled water. We didn't notice any water supply restrictions like for example in Heraklion. Watch your head if you're taller than 170cm. I'm 183cm and have hit my head a few dozen times on the cabinet above the sink and the door frame to the lower bedroom. All in all it was a great vacation and my wife is nagging me to book next year already. We will surely come again.

Amazing place, calm. Wasn't bothered by noise from the next door tavern. The cottage contains all you need. The old building give the place a special atmosphere. Spacious beach nearby with clear water. Child friendly as it's quite shallow waters. Also many fish to watch if you like scubadiving.

This is a lovely cottage with a spectacular view. We loved our stay here and we would love to come back. The location were magnificant.

The house is as described, has a special charm for location and structure. Quiet beach, clean sea and with a little imagination sitting in front of the house you can see the palaces of Roussólakkos appearing behind the beach.

Menage done twice in six days. Very nice and spacious rooms. Equipped kitchen. Nothing is missing. At Aristides, sleeping in the open window is a pleasure. We are lulled by the sound of the sea. And what about the sunrise at dawn! All 200 meters from one of the most remarkable Minoan sites !!!! Super start for all walks. Possibility of bathing at the foot of the cottage. Sandy beach at 100 meters! Thanks thanks thanks ! We have never rented such a paradise! ❤️

At Chiona cottage we have enjoyed a beautiful holiday. The first evening after the arrival surprised the tavern next to the accommodation. But in the morning everything was right. Almost empty beach, which can be reached in 2 minutes. The sea is literally across the road and the beach is sandy with a slight slope that is ideal for both children and good swimmers. The city is a 5-minute drive or a 25-minute walk away. Buy here is all you need. Whenever there was a problem, communication was absolutely flawless and fast. For the first time we got cakes and homemade eggs with local spirits, from a very kind gentleman who came to personally apologize for the problem of a malfunctioning pump. We recommend this place and thank you for your beautiful holiday.

Unforgettable impression. The house, in which there are two apartments, stands separately from everyone on the hill, which offers stunning views of the bay and the sea. 9 minutes by car to one of the most spectacular beaches of Crete, Vai, located in a palm grove. Incredibly hospitable hosts, we spent a wonderful evening on the terrace, with food, wine and stories about Cretan legends and myths. We had an amazing stay at vrachos! Beautiful apartment with terrace and amazing view! George was very helpful and had great recommandations about what to do in the area. The check in was easy, even though we came very late. He was flexible with check in and check out. The room is perfect for two persons. I would not recommend to stay with a third adult since the third "bed" is more like a couch. With a child no problem I guess. All together: 100% recommended. Very natural (no wifi) and lots of privacy since there are no other houses around. And there are three kittens ;)

The apartment is very spacious and well furnished. It is located in the village, so that all restaurants and shops can be easily reached on foot. The sea is only 5 minutes by car. The hosts are extremely friendly and we have been well supplied with local produce such as fruit, wine and olive oil. During the one-week stay even the linen was changed and we got fresh towels - extraordinary. Everything was pikobello. We can fully recommend the apartment.

Wonderful place to stay. The location is perfect. We were able to get everything we needed from nearby markets, including snorkel gear. The bed was comfy, but be careful with the external blinds because they’re extremely good at blocking out sunlight...and you may sleep in! highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of spending a night in Suela's apartment. It is true to the photos and description and is very clean. Suela is a charming and responsive hostess. The apartment is perfect for 4 people, very well located and nothing is missing. You can easily park nearby. The attentions of Suela and her mother (whom we did not have the opportunity to meet) as well as the breakfast make the stay very pleasant.

Suela's place is a very comfortable, spacious and peaceful place to relax in the nice town of Palekastro. It is very near the centre and we had no problem parking our car just outside. The apartment is even nicer than the pictures. There are two areas to sit outside and enjoy the surrounding countryside. All the rooms are spacious, with all the things you would need. The bathroom was large with a great shower. Suela`s mother Rosa was there to greet us when we arrived. She also made some lovely home made meals for us. Every morning she cooked breakfast for us. Many different kinds of Greek traditional food. She also cooked a meal for us when we arrived. Both Rosa and her Mum were great guests. We would stay here again definitely. Also the WiFi reception was excellent.

The neighborly support with beer, wine and one of the best omelets we have ever eaten remain next to the perfectly furnished apartment with many lovely details in the memory. We have seen that the renovation of the house has been done with great care and attention to detail. Bathroom kitchen and bedroom as well as the living room let it miss nothing. Bravo!! A lot of the apartment we liked so much that we were sad to drive out of the beautiful and varied area again and we would like to come back. It is a great base to explore the east of the island. In addition to the tranquility you have the varied landscape with fantastic beaches with the possibility to go hiking.

Mandarini house is the perfect choice for those who decide to visit the eastern part of the island. This is one of the most beautiful houses I have ever chosen thanks to AirBnB. The apartment is very clean and well furnished. Michalis and Venetia have really thought of every comfort for their guests. It would be the best if there was a nice barbecue outside :) If only I could, I would definitely stay there again.

Good lodging for a pastime in a village in Crete.

Lazaros Home is highly recommended. The apartment is spacious and very clean. The equipment offers everything, what one needs. The location on the edge of Palekastro is quiet and offers a village atmosphere. There is even a small balcony where you can sit with four people, eat and see the sea. We enjoyed the stay here and thank you for the hospitable and uncomplicated reception.

Manos cares and even helped us to visit the surrounding area: a map to reach the Toplou Monastery across the fields, and how to reach Zakros easily, to visit the gorge. Moreover, the rooms are spacious and spotless. Small bonus: the bus stop (eg to join Sitia) is right in front of the hostel.

Our stay at Manos's apartment was perfect. We loved the neighborhood, it is beautiful and very quiet but still only 200 mt from the center. 12 min by car from Vai beach ,one of the most beautiful Creta's beaches . Doubtless I can raccomand it !

The big highlight is the huge roof terrace with plenty of shade and wind protection. Every morning you have the most beautiful sunrise in Crete. Cozy, well-equipped apartment for the comfortably stay. Our child was delighted with what he saw. The apartments are located on the outskirts of Palekastro in a quiet place. From the large balcony you can see the sea and olive groves. Nearby are the best beaches of East Crete, interesting gorges, many archaeological sites. In the village itself there are many taverns and small shops. Very nice and quiet place.

(Italian below). We stayed three days in the Traumhaus, looking for a comfortable and completely furnished apartment. The large terrace with sea view is a great perk. On top of that, the Traumhaus is an ideal apartment for long stays, being livable and furnished in a complete way, unlike many airbnb apartments furnished in a small way. Beautiful large terrace overlooking the sea! Christos is friendly and helpful, and even listens to us with a homemade cake and a botticino of raki, the local liqueur.

Ioanna and Christos are really wonderful hosts. At our arrival we found plenty of fruits, cakes, jam, butter, chocolate, honey, fresh drinks and raki. They also left some notes on the places to visit in the area. The house is beautiful and well furnished. There is a wonderful terrace with sea view where we enjoyed all our meals. The house is also equipped with air conditioning but we never used it, since opening the windows and the door makes it naturally fresh. The position is ideal, very close to astonishing beaches such as Vai and Itanos. Palekastro is also a nice and quiet village. Everything was simply perfect and a few hours after leaving we were already missing the place. Definitely and warmly suggested!!!

We stayed here for four nights in April 2018. The hospitality was excellent. The apartment was stylish and modern but in keeping with the laid back feel of the Village. We loved the little balcony and comfort of the place. It was perfect for a couple. Palekastro was beautiful, a hidden gem of a village with everything you need on the doorstep. We will return. We had a lovely stay at this cozy cottage! The view was spectacular with the ocean a few steps from our front door. It is also very convenient having a delicious seafood restaurant next door! A dream location and a charming hostess. What could be better ?

Anna's house is atypical. We stayed there with family at 5, beware, the ceilings are low, think of you down. The house is at the end of a road that gives an effect end of the world (be careful if you are looking for animation, it is not here that he comes, the place is quiet- just the restaurant-) . As it depends on the hotel of Anna, the service is offered with sheets and towels (very comfortable, it is ca less to take in the suitcases). The house is contiguous to a restaurant that offers a great and very tasty cuisine. We spent wonderful days in Hiona. Anna's Beach House is located on the seafront between the Beach Cottage and the Hiona Seafood Restaurant (highly recommended!). Otherwise there is nothing there. At first, the dormitories seemed small, but since we spent most of our time outdoors, it was absolutely sufficient. The bathroom and the kitchen are spacious and well equipped. Nevertheless, we have only made the breakfast, as there are so many good taverns in the area, we had to test. In the evening it is often animated, but you are almost always alone from sunrise to midday. Simply fantastic. Anna also operates the Hiona Holiday Hotel and has offered to use the facilities there (eg swimming pool, wifi). Anna is a very nice and eager hostess. We will definitely come back.

Annas rustic House is wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. The beautiful Remote setting was exactly What we were looking for and we hope to be back.

From the apartment directly by the sea and the terrace you have a fantastic view with a postcard view! The apartment was spotless. The fireplace was stocked with wood on our arrival and on a fresh evening we once used it gladly. The bunk bed is on the narrow and kraxeligen spiral staircase, it is not a closed room. We will come back!
