Located to the west of Oshima, Omi is a peaceful place surrounded by mountains and the sea. It is also a great base for cycling and island tours. In the early morning, a relaxing stroll along the calm sea, surrounded by tranquility and the sound of birdsong, is a truly soothing experience. Right next to the inn is the entrance to the approach to Himezaka Shrine, and the narrow slope lined with old houses from the early Showa period is also recommended for a walk.From the path through the tangerine orchard that leads up to the shrine, you can enjoy beautiful views of the ocean and the islands. At night, the starry sky stretches out, and in summer, the Milky Way shimmers. Because I like old things and want to keep them, I have kept the decorations, shelves, drawers, and other items from the 1940s as they were. It is conveniently located a 2-minute walk from the main street, restaurants, public baths, shopping streets, etc. It is a 3-minute walk to the ropeway that goes up to Sengoji Temple. It is a 15-minute walk from the station. (3 minutes by bus.)It is an old Japanese house, so it is cold in winter. Those who are not good with old things, those who think that a 15-minute walk from the station is difficult (bad location rating). In many cases, I cannot hand over the key. Communication with guests is often only by email or phone. We ask that you contact us one hour before check-in. Please read the images, descriptions, etc. carefully before making a reservation. Because it is close to the Shinkansen, there is noise and vibration every time it passes. It may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to sound. (It is quiet because it does not operate from 11:40 pm to 6:20 am) If you are staying with 2 people, you can have separate bedrooms. Or you can combine two single beds to make a double bed.
