Toulouse is less than an hour away and you can also visit the pretty picturesque villages located within a radius of 20 kilometers, Cordes, Ambialet, Castelnau de Montmiral, Penne and a little further Bruniquel. A walled garden with lower and upper terraces provide a spectacular view across the Aveyron river to wooded hills topped by the Roc d"Anglar. La Chouette is closed in January and February.
