Hideout Mansion is set on a private estate with a very large garden and surrounded by fields and woodland. Close to the A1 so perfect for those traveling to us, and only 15 mins from Newcastle city centre. The Mansion has recently undergone refurbishment and features 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen and utility as well as 4 reception rooms bar, games room, snug and summer house style diner. Also our standard features of hot tub, sky tv, pool table, BBQ and outdoor entertaining space.

Caroline is an excellent host, helpful and always on hand to answer any queries. A large group of us stayed for a few days and had a lovely stay, house is well equipped and stocked, surrounded by beautiful gardens and fields. The hottub was a particular plus, can only imagine how great it would be in summer.

We had a great time between Christmas and New Year at Caroline’s place. There were 13 of us- 7 adults and 6 kids- loads of room for us all. The house is spacious with a huge garden, which was great for the kids. We had catering from Louisianna’s on the first night with a cocktail making master class. This was great and James, who hosted it was brilliant. We had a slight issue with the hot tub which was dealt with within the hour- great service. All in all a brilliant time had by all.

Ideal for visiting Newcastle (10 min bus ride ) You are hiring one room, there is another also available unless it has already booked by another airbnb guest( the whole flat is available too). It is a quiet residential street in the west end of Newcastle.

Please note we have moved out of this flat & other airbnb guests might have hired the other room. The whole flat is also available to hire. The room to rent is a tidy spacious clean room with double bed.( we can host a 3rd guest if you check with us for additional £20 they get a blow up mattress on the floor, any additional must be agreed & discussed in advance.) 2 Bedside tables. Desk & bedside lamp, size wise it is 12' by 14' foot ish. It has a large window and is fully carpeted.There is a phone to call home & a TV in the bedroom with an amazon firestick and dvd player. Large wardrobes & a mirror. We are close to (10mins) central station, the airport,the arena. And we are beside St James park (4 mins) Use of internet, kitchen,washing machine,dryer,iron, Large flat screen TV in lounge, garden, use of FREE private drive parking , all available at no extra cost. The living room and kitchen are open plan with a new wooden style laminate floor. The bedrooms have a cozy beige carpet. The bathroom is new and has a power shower and is fully tiled. There are maps and takeaway menus in the flat ready for your arrival. This neighborhood is super friendly I know all my neighbours .Its a lovely friendly typical northern street. We are 2 minutes from the supermarket & a range of local shops including a hairdressers, 3 takeaways, an Italian restaurant & one of the best fish and chip shops in the north east.

I prolonged my visit at Emma's place while waiting for my own apartment, I highly recommend staying there cause it's a beautiful flat, very eco friendly, spotless clean. If I would ever again have to rent an apartment in Newcastle, I would definitely chose Emma's place!

A large apartment comfortably suiting 4 people ideal for work or leisure with Newcastle just a short walk away. There are 2 double bedrooms which will sleep a maximum of 4 people one of which has a kingsize bed. There is an en-suite to one of the bedrooms and also a separate bathroom. There is a large open plan living space to chill out in, listen to some tunes, read, chat, or watch TV. When Newcastle is lucky enough to get some sunshine there is also a decent sized balcony. A fully fitted kitchen provides you all you need to prepare food or find a glass for that bottle of wine you've just cracked open. Dining area and breakfast bar gives plenty of space to sit, eat, and drink. We live in the same block I'm normally at hand if there are any issues. The apartment is located on the Gateshead side of the quayside. It offers a fantastic central position to walk to Newcastle but it is a little quieter to get a good nights sleep. Not that you really need a car given the central location but free parking is available should you need it

The Regent's Chambers is a marvellous and comfortable place to stay, with super king beds, Netflix & Amazon Video, board games, self check-in and breakfast ingredients (except for milk!). There's a garden for relaxing in during nice weather (it happens!) and a real home-from-home feeling. There's free parking just outside the flat and it's a five minute walk into town (explore the castle and new gallery spaces), ten min to the station and ten min to Kynren. Durham is just a half hour away.

The kitchen is country style, with oak worktop and cream cabinets. It's fully stocked with basic necessities (tea selection, real coffee, olive oil, salt, pepper, spices and herbs). There is also bread, spreads and cereals on offer (though you need to bring milk). The bathroom has a separate shower and bath. Don't worry if you forget your shampoo, conditioner or shower gel as it's all provided for you. There are two big bedrooms with super king size beds and pillowtop mattresses, very soft 400 thread count sheets and feather pillows. The living room has a 49" Smart TV with freeview. You can watch Super HD Netflix, Amazon Video and BBC iPlayer too - the flat has its own Netflix and Amazon accounts so no need for a subscription. There's a large double sofabed (14cm full double memory foam mattress) and a single daybed (3000 pocket pillowtop mattress). Both beds are super comfy and have lots of pillows and cushions for maximum cosiness. There are double curtains in the bedrooms and living room, which all look out onto the street - the voile is to ensure privacy (but still lets in the light) plus lined blackout curtains on top. The flat is on the ground floor so it's more accessible for people with limited mobility, but note there are three shallow steps up to the front door so it's not suitable for wheelchairs. Parking is easy - there's lots available on Etherley Lane and though there are single yellow lines around the corners there are no other restrictions (except don't park in front of other people's houses as it annoys the neighbours!). It's best to park just outside the side gate on Etherley Lane, where you first check in. During Kynren days there is parking enforcement on the street but parking permits are provided in the flat for you to use. You can use smart check in to get into the flat with a code I give you at booking, so you can arrive whenever is convenient, even in the small hours of the morning. Have a lovely stay!

Known as the gateway to Weardale, Bishop Auckland is a bustling market town in the Vale of Durham, standing high above a meander in the River Wear with commanding views of the surrounding countryside. Walk fifteen minutes from the flat straight into the beautiful grounds of the magnificent Auckland Castle, the country residence of the Prince Bishops for more than 900 years. And don't miss the annual Bishop Auckland Food Festival which takes place in the castle grounds every April. It's AMAZING. Surrounding the Castle are the 800 acres of the Bishop's Deer Park - a great place for a summer picnic or an autumnal stroll through vividly coloured parkland. It's open all year round and is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The town is set for major developments over the next few years, with a new welcome building at Auckland Castle, a new Museum extension, an institute of Spanish art and culture, and the redevelopment of the 17th Century Walled Garden which will feature stunning new glasshouses providing 'garden rooms' restaurant and event spaces. The town burst into life in 2016 as Eleven Arches presented the first season of ‘Kynren – an epic tale of England’ - the £31 million open-air live action night show that attracted more than 100,000 visitors during the summer. Kynren returns in 2017 to take audiences on an epic storytelling journey through 2,000 years. Bishop Auckland's historic town centre has a thriving arts and cultural offering, with the Bishop Auckland Town Hall home to a superb library, cinema, theatre and arts complex. Plus, the town has more than 200 shops - head for Bondgate for boutiques and specialist shops that you won’t find on the high street. A mile from the town are the remains of Binchester Roman Fort, home to the best preserved Roman military bath house in Britain. And at Escomb, you can see one of the finest examples of early Christian architecture in Northern Europe at the restored 7th Century Escomb Saxon Church. It's one of the first churches in the whole of the UK, so not really one to miss. Don't forget also the National Shildon Railway Museum for train enthusiasts. Shildon was pretty much the birthplace of railways so do please go and check out an engine or two. Bishop Auckland is very well placed for trips to lots of local castles, the North Pennines and day trips to Durham (half hour drive).

I only stayed at Emma’s for one night, in preparation for an Exam I had in Bishop Auckland. It was the perfect place to stay to relax and get myself ready. I can see that this apartment would be great for larger groups too, including families, looking to get away and have some quality time.

The Regent's Chambers was a lovely flat and had all the amenities we needed. Emma was a fantastic host with great communication and a very handy check in video! The flat is about a 5min walk from the main high street and there's two big supermarkets a few minutes further. The town was lovely though it was just a shame we couldn't get out and about much because of the storm. If you're eating in Bishop Auckland I definitely recommend Beedles Chippy and Panda Panda. We managed to make a quick stop (40mins away) in the North Pennines on our drive back home. If you only have a little bit of time, I highly recommend the High Force falls. It was absolutely stunning and feels like you've been transported to somewhere in North America! I wish we could have spent a lot longer there!

The loction is perfect for walks into town, metro trains and main roads to visit coast.

The apartment has a lovely lounge with real flame gas fire , corner sofa, dining table , the bedrooms have comfy beds , one is king size with tv , fitted wardrobes in both , the bathroom has a shower cubicle as well . The apartment has a light and airy feel to it with tall windows letting lots of light in. The kitchen is fitted with fridge /freezer, microwave , toaster, kettle, oven and grill with plenty of plates, bowls and cutlery .

Jesmond is an upmarket suburb of Newcastle, a very pleasant area with lots of local bars, restaurants , boutiques , shops and supermakets very nearby . Jesmond Dene is a 5 minute walk away which a lovely space to unwind or take children to see the pets there. Access to metro trains and main roads is very easy .

Martin’s flat is so lovely, we felt very at home there. It’s super well located so easy to access everything. The flat is exactly like the pictures if not nicer and the fireplace was so lovely to light in the evenings! The neighbours were slightly noisy at points but nothing too disruptive at all! Welcome to our city centre flat, technically in Gateshead, but seconds walk from Newcastle and ideally located for the Newcastle quayside and city centre. My wife and I lived here happily for 3 years before we started our family and had to move somewhere more appropriate. With panoramic views over Newcastle and situated right on the river Tyne, we hope you'll enjoy staying here as much as we enjoyed living here.

The first thing you will notice when you step into the penthouse are the superb views it offers. The open plan living area and second bedroom are built around the curved wall of a tower, perched at the top of Bottle Bank and part of the Curzon Place development. The curved space and wall to wall windows give panoramic views over Newcastle, the Tyne and Tyne Bridge and the Norman Foster designed Sage. The master bedroom has a wall of ceiling to floor windows with a door out onto our balcony offering more stunning views of the bridge and the city. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains, dimmable spotlights and lamps to set the light to a level you find comfortable. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower above for guests in the second bedroom. A heated towel rail is on hand to keep the fluffy towels we provide nice and warm and we provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for all our guests. The master bedroom ensuite, lit in white and blue, features underfloor heating, a heated LED mirror with infrared switch, a large vanity unit and a huge shower with waterfall shower head. It's been recently refurbished and we hope you enjoy the new features. Our beds are designed to offer comfort of the highest level with great quality mattresses and memory foam toppers. Our master bedroom has a super king size bed and the second bedroom features a comfy king size bed which can also be split into two small singles to make a cozy twin. All our bedding is high thread count Egpytian cotton and the duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic. The kitchen is well stocked, so if you decide not to take advantage of the fantastic quayside restaurants on your doorstep, you should find everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. There is an enormous Tesco Extra around five minutes walk from the flat for your any ingredients you need, though we do hope you'll head out at some point during your stay and sample some of the fantastic restaurants in the vicinity. Facilities include an iron and ironing board, dyson cordless hoover, high speed wifi, flat screen freeview LCD TVs in the living room and master bedroom and hairdryers in both.

The Newcastle and Gateshead quayside area has developed considerably over the last ten years into todays collection of tourist attractions including the Baltic Art Gallery and Sage Gateshead and host of great bars and restaurants. The internationally renowned Baltic Art Gallery has been host to exhibitions as prestigious as the Turner Prize. Sage Gateshead has welcomed musicians as renowned as Sting, John Grant and Momford and Sons. Sage Gateshead is also home to the Royal Northern Sinfonia, described by The Guardian as 'no better chamber orchestra in Britain' and regularly hosts visiting orchestras from around the world.

A stylish and well equipped penthouse apartment with great views in a perfect location an easy 5-10 minute walk from the Newcastle quayside. The apartment was clean, easy self check in, comfy beds and a nice social area for relaxing and dining. We especially loved the huge bed and generous sized balcony off the master bedroom overlooking the Tyne bridge. The host was really accommodating around check in and with suggestions - we would absolutely stay here again, a great find :)

Peters place is a wonderful, cosy home from home. With a modern style you relax as soon as you enter. It is a 15 minute drive from town centre of Durham, half hour from Newcastle and in between for so many other places. The building of the estate still continues however when windows are closed you can't really hear it so it doesn't bother you much. We spent a week at Peters place, it was accessible, well decorated, clean and thoughtfully prepared. We'll be exploring more of Durham in the future, so will definitely stay again.

Simple, clean, comfortable single bedroom. Town centre is about a half hour walk or 5 minutes on regular bus routes for a small fair. There is a bus stop two minutes walk away. Local shops and amenities are all a very short walk away, located on front street. I live alone and am pretty laid back. I'll try to accomodate you if i can. You'll have a key so come and go as you please. I'm out quite a lot so you can make your self comfortable. Mi casa es vuestra casa!!!

The room is a single bedroom. However there is plenty of storage. Wardrobe space, 2 bedside drawers and floor space at the bottom of the bed.

My home is a large 5-bedroom detached residence with 3 rooms that I let out on Airbnb only. As you can see from the photos my home is very modern, tastefully decorated and is kept immaculately clean by my cleaners. You will have access to the ground floor only, which has a fantastic kitchen/dining room to use, and a fabulous south facing sunroom to the rear of the property that leads out to a patio area and large garden. There is Sky TV in the sunroom too for guests to enjoy. The room also has Sky TV too. Smart Home Technologies - Samsung 55” Ultra HD LED Smart TV – Sky and Netflix - App-controlled thermostat This bedroom has a shared bathroom across the hall. Toiletries supplied - soap, shampoo and shower gel. Continental breakfast is provided which consists of the following: - Tea, coffee and sugar - Milk - Selection of cereals such as fruit and fibre, shreddies or cheerios - Toast with strawberry jam, marmalade and butter - Chocolate croissants Ample off street parking available on my private driveway.

Only my 3rd time using an AirBnB host, but the 1st time withoutmy family. I was staying away to attend a 2 week wind Turbine blade repair course located in Pallion (1 stop from South Hylton Metro station, approx 3mins walk away). The house was great and the room was exactly as described so i cannnot put a fault anywhere. Jason was very quick on responses and also made sure I checked in OK, was good during my stay and made sure checking out was smooth. During the stay a pal of mine who I met on the course needed to move from a hotel he was staying at promptly, and so I recommended Jason's place. That same evening my friend was in and looked after. Sadly we had a couple issues with one lodger who couldn't control his volume on the phone and also chose to do this very late at night, not what you need when on a 2 week training course, however Jason was made aware of this and took care of it. Overall a great place, and perfect location if staying in Sunderland to compete the blade repair course with Advanced Blade Repair Specialists in Pallion.

This house is outstanding. It's beautiful inside and outside. Plenty of space for parking, always nice and warm, kitchen full of appliances, the room we stayed in was big and spacious and the bed very comfortable. The place is really clean, easy access by car to town (not sure about public transport as we didn't need it). Communication with Jason splendid, very responsive all the way through. On initial entry Gina knows how to make you feel welcome. She was very warm and friendly which instantly made me feel at ease. The mini apartment was extremely clean and felt very cosy with great en-suite facilities. Check-in was smooth and anything I needed was not a problem for Gina. I would not hesitate to return.

This is a lovely house, very clean and stylish and the guest room is great to stay in as it is at the back of the house so quiet. Sarah is a great host, I didn't actually meet her during my stay because of her work and family commitments, but she stayed in contact and I felt looked after. The breakfast was a very nice touch with cereal, toast, and fruit juice and a danish pastry. Value was great and overall I can thoroughly recommend staying here if you are on business (as I was) or having a trip to the Seaham area.

The building is directly in front of Marine Park which is great for walks and this leads onto the sea front. There are events throughout the year and this flat is ideal as it is close enough to them but far enough away to still be quiet. Restaurants and pubs are literally around the corner. Metro and bus links are close by.

Great value for money. Ehsan is super caring and facilitating. Nice location, three-minute walk to bus stops taking you to Durham market place or into nearby towns/villages. A couple of restaurants and a giant grocery store only 8 minutes away on foot. I recommend!!

My place is close to nightlife and public transport. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the people. My place is good for solo adventurers and business travelers. Modern townhouse with great amenities and well located to road networks and public transport as well as being just a 15minute walk to quayside. Quiet neighbourhood and comfortable surroundings. Very Large Double Room (20x12 feet) with an en-suite, newly fitted bathroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. Bright, clean, airy with a great mattress and bedding. Contains a large table for a laptop. Very luxurious. This room is on its own floor.

The accommodation is 1 minute away from the Asda, Iceland and Lidl supermarkets. There are a few fast food/take away places 1 minute say from the property as well. 30 seconds away are two bus routes into the Newcastle city center.

The room at Arvin's place is a really good deal if you want to stay in Newcastle. The house is just a bit far from the centre but a lot of buses pass right next to it (almost every 5 minutes) and you can get to the centre in 10 minutes! The room itself is very clean, you have the whole floor to yourself, your own bathroom, really good heating for cold days and also fast wifi! all in all, great experience. 100% recommended!

Can’t thank Dominika enough, her flat is gorgeous, it was perfectly clean. A previous review mentioned about noisy neighbours and uncleanliness but that was not true at all.
