Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

A short stroll away is the Waihopai River Walkway, with the beautiful Queens Park a ten-minute walk away. The newly revamped city centre is a ten-minute drive away. We have the greatest sea views, plenty of land and pelagic birds to spot with many simple and more challenging walks available, very like New Zealand used to be.
