This farmhouse fully renovated in a contemporary style will seduce you with its impressive volumes and original furnishings. 230 m2, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, home theater, terrace, courtyard. Located in Domptail, a small village in "Les Vosges" in the heart of the Lorraine region. Quiet and relaxing place in the countryside. Closed to tourist places such as the Baccarat crystal factory, Luneville and its castle, Gerardmer and its lake, Saint-Die, Epinal or Nancy. Marie and Gabrielle, your hosts, are from the village and will be happy to advise you on things to do in the area. I bought a farmhouse in 2007 to turn it into a vacation rental house. After 3 years of renovation work it finally came together and the result is better than I ever dreamed of. I'm very proud of myself for this accomplishement. I would be very happy to welcome you in the house and I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. Price shown is for the whole house per night or per week for up to six people. Minimum stay is 7 nights, arrival and departure on Saturdays only. Electricity will be charged separately based on consumption. Tourist tax 0.80€/day/adult. This was our first Airbnb experience. We only spent one night at the hosts', the access instructions were clear. The accommodation is well-equipped, TV with packages, pellet stove, cooking utensils, plates, cutlery, glasses, refrigerator, oven and microwave, coffee machine,..... even salt and oil are provided. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. We went there during a heat wave, the thickness of the walls of the building provides a good coolness. To sum up, good communication, spacious accommodation, great value for the money.

There were five of us and we felt right at home. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and the location is very good for excursions. The beds were also very comfortable. We would definitely come again! :) For the next stay, only larger pots and bowls would be great, as cooking for 5 people in the very small pots was rather impractical. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it!

Unusual location, sparkling stay

the accommodation was really beautiful, everything new, modern renovated. the water pressure in the shower was very low... that was a little annoying. also a large table, instead of the bar would have been better for us as a family with a child. but still everything was very clean. very individual with a view of the brewery, where we received a private tour directly from the host. in the village itself there is not much but the surrounding area is very nice, you can certainly hike well. you are quickly in epinal. just the right thing for a cozy family weekend.

Beautiful, lovingly furnished accommodation – we felt "aussiewohl" from the first moment! Quiet location, great surroundings and perfect starting point for excursions. We were warmly welcomed, including a small, sweet surprise that perfectly ushered in the weekend. Our dog Luna was also lovingly greeted with her own bed and treats – How great is that! A special highlight was the fantastic spa area with a winter garden and whirlpool – and there is a little secret that we do not want to spoil, but adventurous guests will be thrilled! The restaurant tips of the hosts were great – especially the logan laug with its menu surprise is a real must. The communication with the hosts was always warm and uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back!

Great relaxing stay in the blazing sun. A little too short... Disconnection (real) but magical. Fabulous landscapes. Beautiful hikes in the woods and waterfall nearby. Superbly arranged and very comfortable accommodation in all its simplicity. Very close to beautiful sights to visit. Dominique and Philippe are very welcoming. Thank you for all the gourmet treats that were intended for us. We spent these few days in "a postcard". Too good. To be repeated.

We had a very nice stay at Christophe's wooden house! The house is as beautiful as in the pictures and has everything you need. In the lake you can cool off and the surroundings are good for relaxing hiking. Would definitely come back:)
