Village Little House and Roustika

FabianRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a very nice stay at Village Little House. The apartment is comfortably furnished with lots of charm. Due to the fact that the apartment is located in the center of Roustika, just opposite a tavern, there is something going on all day and it can also be a little louder in the evening. But that didn't bother us very much. The wifi signal was a bit weak at times, but in this case you can just contact Katerina and she's happy to help. All in all it was a great vacation. Thank you! :)

The Olive Mill Loft - Oil Mill to Lavish Leisure

AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place creatively incorporates the historic parts of an olive mill with contemporary design. It was roomy and had everything we needed, but a minor thing, body wash would have been nice. Met the owner who was very nice and gracious. Loved being able to walk to 3 different great restaurants, a market, pharmacy and close proximity to Rethymno. It is strategically located between Chania and Heraklion, too. Definitely recommended!
An entrance is framed by green double doors, opening to a softly lit corridor. Two wall-mounted lanterns provide illumination, while a simple wooden chair and a potted plant enhance the welcoming setting. The stone walls reflect the building's historical character.

Moundros 1620 Venetian Residence

ChristophRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The space is special and historic. You feel like you were a few hundred years ago. The whole village is not directly on the sea, but is worth the distance. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the beach by car. You can have a good conversation with the villagers and get some things (vegetables from your own garden and cheese/feta). But it is very quiet in the evening and you can enjoy the view on the roof... a breathtaking and not forgotten vacation in an old prison or in the village structure. You don't feel like a mass tourist here, but like someone visiting Crete. Especially the anteroom and the bedroom are spacious. The kitchen is completely sufficient and the room for three children as well. The roof can be used superbly in the evening after sunset. Shopping can be done in the next village and there are no tourist prices and products. I'd love to come back .

The Rustic House

JenniferRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a great and relaxing vacation with 4 adults and a toddler. Clean and cozy house, great garden and everything you need. Tavern just 3 minutes away. However, you need a car, because the village is in the mountains. 20 minutes to the closest beach. Those who want their privacy are in good hands here.

Alley Family Traditional House 1887

HowardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is the best equipped Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The host is professional, very communicative, and incredibly friendly. Are you looking for an authentic Cretan experience (no disco) within a 30 minute (and beautiful) drive of both coasts? This might be your spot. Thank-you Nicole, Demetrius, and your son. Our lives are better for having experienced your village and meeting the 3 of you. Sandra & Howard Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦 We will NEVER be the 51st state.
A private pool surrounded by a stone patio is featured beneath a wooden pergola. A rustic wooden table sits on the side, offering shaded space for relaxation. The stone walls are complemented by vibrant greenery, enhancing the inviting atmosphere of the outdoor area.

The Milio's House with a private pool

SamRating, 5 stars21 months ago
We had a wonderful stay here. Rustic, with enough modern touches to make it really comfortable. The house stays cool (which is good as it got to 37.5 degrees whilst we were there!). We would recommend this place to anybody who likes to escape the busy bustle of Crete's cities and live like a true local.
Two lounge chairs are positioned beside a private pool, shaded by a large umbrella. The surrounding wooden fencing provides a sense of privacy. The clear blue sky reflects off the water, creating a serene atmosphere in the outdoor space.
