A very smart beautifully furnished centrally located apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed the diverse neighborhood with great restaurants and galleries within a short walking distance. Everything in the apartment has been well thought out and artfully curated. We appreciated the secure adjacent car park. The pre-arrival instructions were excellent. We look forward to staying again. This is the most beautiful apartment, ideally located in the old town just a stone’s throw from the Abbaye aux Hommes. Two spacious bedrooms, a lovely kitchen/living room and all so light and homely. Despite being so close to all the main attractions of the old town, the apartment is exceptionally quiet. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. Thank you Karine!

Christopher, Thank you for all your kindnesses toward us. The roses & peonies were a great surprise, even though we did not experience any inconvenience from the front door hiccup. Your sterling character as a host showed through just as the beach light reflected off the antique silver objects around the salon. The turret bed was very spacious and comfortable as the linen bedcovers were a treat! The nearby fish market and shops were very convenient and your well furnished kitchen allowed for some great cuisine to dine-in. You did a wonderful preservation project on the installation of the new windows, that truly showcased the villa and the incredible beachside location. We were able to relax and enjoy the happy sounds of the children and families. Trouville is a wonderful place that we hope - someday - we are able to return with our grandchildren and children! Le Pressoir was a fantastic location for a chilled family break. The property itself was lovely - spacious, light, nice interiors, well appointed and exactly as per the description. The owners had thought of everything - not only the basics like plenty of crockery and cutlery but also thoughtful touches such as charcoal for the barbeque, pool accessories etc. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. There was an added bonus of young foals in the adjacent field which the kids loved. The pool was gated, warm and well-maintained. The only slight drawback for us was that you need to drive to get to decent sized local supermarket and/or restaurants to eat out but we knew this beforehand. All in all we would highly recommend this property!

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

A hidden gem on the Normandy coast. Close to the museums and D-day beaches. A number of free places to visit near the property in walkable distances. Port-en-Bessin a 5 min drive away with lots of lovely shops - the bolangerie was awesome! The house itself is extremely well done. The photographs do not do it justice. It was the loveliest holiday home we have stayed in. Will visit again!

Great location if you are driving and want to visit the Normandy beaches. The house is exceptional and the kitchen facilities are superb. Will definitely be back.

We were a group of pensioners on a photographic trip. The accommodation was perfect for our requirements. The beds were extremely comfortable and had some of the best night's sleep I've had for sometime. The location is perfect for our requirements, within an easy driving distance of the Normandy Coast, which is what we required. It is only a short distance to the city centre of Caen and quite a few restaurants within easy driving distance. The accommodation is on a equine farm but is perfectly clean and tidy. If I could mention one small detail as I wonder if we could've been provided with larger bath towels as we were all gentleman of a certain build. Gael was an exceptional host and very helpful when we sought his assistance. Would certainly recommend this as a base for touring Normandy.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Chantals liebevoll eingerichtetem Ferienhäuschen! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort rundum wohl. Chantal ist eine äußerst sympathische und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns mit tollen Tipps zu Ausflügen, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten versorgt hat – das hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich bereichert. Das Häuschen selbst ist frisch renoviert, mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders angenehm war auch der eigene, sichere Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig, aber dennoch perfekt für Ausflüge, zum Beispiel zu den D-Day-Stränden oder ins wunderschöne Bayeux, das nur einen Katzensprung entfernt liegt. Wir können diese Unterkunft und Chantal als Gastgeberin wärmstens empfehlen – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

L'appartement est très cosy et bien décoré. Fidèle aux photos. Il y a tout le nécessaire sur place. La résidence est très jolie et calme. Marie Danielle est une hôte très réactive et arrangeante. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un appartement impeccable, rénové récemment, avec vue sur la mer. Pas besoin de voiture, tout est à distance à pied, on a profité de la digue et de la plage de sable fin. Merci à Christelle pour son accueil, ses consignes et ses conseils.

Notre deuxième séjour dans cet apartement - toujours aussi idéale pour passer quelques jours à Deauville .. l'emplacement, l'équipement, l'éspace .. et les réponses / réactivité de Charlotte au top! Merci!

Appartement très bien situé lumineux et cosy avec petit balcon et emplacement parking ultra pratique Vincent a été très arrangeant pour les horaires d'arrivée et départ son qualificatif de super hôte est tout a fait mérité je recommande sans hésitation !!

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

Nous sommes deux couples de québécois qui souhaitions visiter les plages du débarquement et ses musées. L'appartement a très bien répondu à nos attentes: il est très bien situé (à 25 minutes à pied du musée de Juno Beach, notamment), dans un secteur tranquille. L'appartement comme tel est vraiment confortable, très propre, avec une cuisine bien équipée. Le lit et le divan-lit sont parfaits, nous avons tous très bien dormi! Merci Valérie et Manuel pour ce séjour exceptionnel!
