Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Rots

Great welcome from our hosts. The setting was idyllic, sitting on the deck in the evening sun listening to the birds and overlooking the pond was very relaxing after a busy and sometimes emotional day. We had come to pay our respects to those who died in the war. The hosts were not intrusive but there is you needed them and the dogs were great😁 It was an ideal base for our purpose and nice to come back to, everything thing you need in one place which we prefer. A soup bowl would have been useful 😃 If you are using satnav it won't take you to the house just the end of the road, the Canadian memorial is not obvious until you are past it so follow the directions given by the host instead and if you come through the village go to the end of the road and turn right the property is a short way down on that road not the Rue de Bout Reynard . We had a great time and would recommend this if you want a peaceful base to relax or head out from.

Perfect little chalet, close to Cabourg which was perfect for us. Excellent hospitality and cleanliness! The perfect jacuzzi for a good evening. Thanks for the bottle of cider! See you next time!

What a treat! It is absolutely beautiful here! It feels like you’re stepping into a movie. We loved walking around and looking at the grounds and I wish we had more time to go on all of the trails and paths that were mapped out for us. We felt right at home immediately and I can’t state enough how beautiful this space is. The beds are very comfortable and the only sounds you hear are birds chirping.

We had an amazing stay with our young baby at Samuelle's place. The converted farmhouse building has a lot of character but was also modern and comfortable. The lake and ducks outside the door was very relaxing. The location is very quiet and peaceful. A car is essential for getting to local amenities but a large supermarket and a bakery are only a 5 minute drive away. The D Day landing beaches, museums and historic town of Bayeux can be reached within an easy 20 minute drive. Samuelle was a great host, she was very friendly and always able to help with any questions.

Hidden among the woods is this gem. The former cowshed has been converted into a cozy accommodation where everything you need is available. The roses bloomed exuberantly and there was a vase with roses from our own garden inside. At the pond is a lovely terrace where you can see the frogs playing hide and seek among the water lilies.

Beautiful stone house in the Norman countryside, convenient to visit sites of interest such as Bayeux, the landing beaches, Mont Saint Michell (1 hour). Very friendly and helpful host. We had a great time!!! Super Recommended

We were in this accommodation for only one night and slept well, because the beds were comfortable. Adding coffee and tea would have been a plus.

We had a great time at this amazing house where you immediately feel good thanks to the welcome and responsiveness of our host. These few days spent with family will be unforgettable and the services offered are certainly something! And what about those wonderful sunsets seen from the sofa! We're already looking forward to returning.

Ideal town center location near shops, restaurants and bars. Very large unit with room to spread out. One very large bath with shower on main floor. Another large bath with tub only on upper floor. Two bedrooms each floor. Upper floor only accessible by spiral staircase. Hosts were very helpful. Met us at arrival. Great visitor sheet including local recommendations. We tried two of those restaurants and both were excellent.

Small apartment but equipped with everything, clean and well maintained. The host always responded immediately to our messages. To be recommended.

Impeccable apartment, very attentive and very responsive host, accommodating, very quiet area. Note, very good TV equipment with a lot of choice of platforms and quality bedding, you sleep well and it's important especially when you come from far away...I absolutely recommend it...I will come back...

This lovely apartment is even more spacious and beautifully decorated than shown in the photos. It was an ideal stay. Not only is there a large terrace w/a great view of the castle & private parking, but it's located in a quiet but upscale neighborhood that is a short walk into the old city. Great choice of restaurants just outside your door. The tramway is a 5-minute walk away. The building was so quiet I'm not sure anyone else even lives there. We slept well on the beds, the shower is powerful, and the laundry machine is easy to use. There is a damp odor in the bathroom w/shower but it's not a deal breaker. When we had a small problem w/the espresso machine, Marine replaced it within hours -- I don't think I've ever experienced such reactivity from a host before. In short, I would stay there again with pleasure!

We had a great time in a spotless apartment, recently renovated, with sea views. No car needed, everything is within walking distance, we enjoyed the dike and the sandy beach. Thanks to Christelle for her welcome, guidelines and advice.

My husband and I just spent two delicious weeks at Miguel and Karine's. The apartment is very functional and warm, and of exemplary cleanliness. They are very attentive hosts and really keen to make their nice accommodation as hospitable as possible. Nothing is missing: there are even some very well-chosen indoor and outdoor books and games! The location with sea view is really very nice: very quiet and in a nice residence. Impossible to get bored even if you want to forget the car: just a few steps away, there is the nautical club and the beautiful promenade along the beach (for pedestrians and bikes) and which goes from the resorts of Lion sur Mer to the center of Ouistreham with a seaport and various museums... and nearby: a very good restaurant and a small beach bar for ice cream and pancakes: very nice! It was a great discovery and we hope to come back!

What's the best way to describe feeling like a princess in an Airbnb accommodation?🥰 Built in 1899, Villa La Sapinière is quietly located close to the beach. Anne had already sent us detailed information about the exact location of the apartment before our arrival. There was also a useful manual in the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, a very pleasant scent immediately entered our noses and the hand soap also smelled very good. For our dog, a towel was available under the stairs in the entrance area, which we greatly appreciated, as it had just rained heavily. Orange juice and water were waiting for us in the refrigerator. The apartment is a beautiful, bright studio with perfectly coordinated, very tasteful furnishings. Everything was immaculately clean and the bedroom with the carpet was incredibly cozy. We are two Quebec couples who wanted to visit the landing beaches and its museums. The apartment met our expectations very well: it is very well located (25 minutes' walk from the Juno Beach Museum, in particular), in a quiet area. The apartment as such is really comfortable, very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The bed and sofa bed are perfect, we all slept very well! Thanks Valerie and Manuel for this exceptional stay!

We had a fantastic time in the vicinity of Caen. With a magnificent view of nature. This is a perfect base for exploring Normandy.
