Amazing location right on the river with beautiful views and excellent fishing. Incredibly relaxing! Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Great place to stay for the price, hot tub was amazing and having the Blackstone and grill made it even better. It’s secluded enough to get away from the city but still only a 10 min drive to downtown Whitehall. Can’t recommend it enough, would definitely stay there again

We loved the property of this cabin. It was beautiful and well maintained. The river was one of my favorite spots to read or have my morning coffee. There were many perks and amenities to this place that weren't listed online, like hammocks, campfire pokers, blow-dryer, yard games, fire pit, folding chairs, plastic storage containers, etc. And I loved all the buffalo plaid decor all around. The signs and decor were really nice too, So much to look at. My family had plenty of room inside the cabin to sleep and have their own space. There was also lots of outdoor seating and space outside on the property to come together for dinner or games. Nina was very responsive and gave clear instructions for entering and leaving the property. She was polite and made our stay pleasant. We would stay at this property again.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

It was just the quiet stay we were looking for. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, Cornhole, and fire pit.

Host was very responsive and had great recommendations! This was our first time in MI and didn’t know what to expect about the Saugatuck/Oval Beach area but the location of this place was awesome—all the sites/downtown Saugatuck/Oval Beach less than 12 minutes away! Home was cozy—kitchen well-stocked and beds very comfortable. Would recommend bringing your own water or water pitcher with filter—we weren’t used to MI water—not the best tasting. And would bring your own coffee-maker—if they replace current one in the kitchen, great! Keurig part of coffee-maker was broken and we alerted the host—carafe worked fine but pretty slow to brew. Would stay here again!

What a beautiful cabin! My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy a cozy, private place! This home checked all of our boxes! Very nicely kept, home was orderly, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect as it snowed the day after our arrival and was peaceful and serene! We were able to start a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofas! Huge soaker tub in upstairs bathroom and plenty of bedrooms and a fun basement area! The perfect setup! We will have to bring some friends back with us next time- tons of room for several guests to enjoy! We dined at several local restaurants (within a 10 minute drive) that were delicious and spent some time on Water St for shopping, food, and brews! A must-stay place!

My girlfriend and I could not say enough positive things about our stay here. Ben, our host, was extremely helpful and we had everything we could have needed available to us - beyond what the listing even mentioned. The cabin itself was so cozy and there is no beating the patio. We utilized the hot tub and fire pit multiple times a day. We loved being able to cook our meals on the grill, hike the trail out back, and enjoy our coffees surrounded by nature. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Plus, all the reviews about the nice towels and robes are SO TRUE. Thank you, Ben!

Truly an exceptional stay. Top tier hosts that have gone above and beyond to make the stay feel like home. Incredibly clean, no bugs. A really nice little house. Property is beautifully maintained. So relaxing. Wildlife everywhere. We loved all the turtles. The only negative would be the goose poop all over the yard, but that’s just wild life being wild (I would just pack footwear accordingly) Overall, we are super happy with our stay and hope to be back! Thanks for everything!

We really enjoyed staying here for a five year anniversary getaway and relaxation. Our pup got her zoomies out and even explored by the River! We would definitely book again! Both Frank and Kaylee were responsive if we had any questions and great hosts!

It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway.

We had a great time during our short visit to the cabin. There was coffee & oatmeal available, and the firepit was stocked with a bundle of wood for us. (There's a small pile of bramble close by to pick through as well). Internet worked great despite the remote location of the cabin. We visited to travel into Ludington, but actually spent most of our time & money in Custer & Scottville (great close towns with markets, meat shops, & cute gifts). Warning for any plus sized guests: the toilet is placed directly next to the wall. If you've got a big booty like mine, you will not be comfortable using it. Great amenities, quiet location, easy to find, and exceptional, friendly hosts. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again!

So happy with our stay! So many trout to see in the river, and even though there's a neighbor nearby, it felt so secluded. Amenities were great, and Jordan was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

This was such an ideal place to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin is absolutely beautiful in a peaceful and private setting, which gave us permission to unplug and relax. We loved the sauna outside and enjoyed our meals in the shade of the surrounding trees. It’s already a really special place, and the hosts went above and beyond with amenities and details that elevated the experience beyond any other Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely return to create more memories and connect with each other in this quiet and lovely cabin. Absolutely perfect!

Our stay in Cabin #2 (or as our son called it "Our Green House) was spectacular. The home was just right for a family of four (two adults and two children 3 and under). It was very clean. There were more than enough towels and other essentials + extras (soap, toilet paper, spices to name a few). The access to the beach was perfect - far enough that I didn't feel it unsafe for the kids to wander to, but still SO close. There are also good kid-proof locks on the screen doors. There was a playset as well where our oldest made friends a few evenings who were staying at the other cabins. A few notes (which are not really complaints at all, just to be more informative): -the wifi was a bit spotty , but usually we could reconnect within a few minutes if it dropped off. -the cabins are located down a dirt road with a few dips. -the rooms can get a little warm at night with the doors closed on the hotter days, however a fan was provided to help the air move and cool down the rooms.

Beautiful location everything you needed they had. Spacious upstairs my son setup his PlayStation in the extra living room which was a perfect area and let us have the main living space to ourselves lol. Bon fire pit made the night even better! Great location and a nice public beach near by. We loved it!

I loved this home! We stayed with my extended family & had a great time. I loved the peaceful, private, safe location. This home is a “better than home” experience which is what I look for in Airbnb’s. I felt like I was on vacation the moment I stepped in. We cooked a few meals and had everything we needed, enjoyed the fire pit, and everything was so clean & nice! Plus I loved that the hosts have air purifiers and reverse osmosis water. Just the little things that make it feel that much more bougie!

This was our second year in a row staying at Camp Bushwack’d. My friends and I love staying here due to its location and beautiful surroundings. Kaitlin is also an exceptional host! We love that we are treated as neighbors rather than guests. I cannot even thank her enough for the hospitality we always receive. I also cannot speak highly enough of how cleanly the Airbnb is. If you are into beautiful secluded locations that are private, look no further and book now! We were even impressed there was an additional room added this year. The shower/bathroom is phenomenal as well. We greatly enjoy being able to grill and have fires at our convenience. You can either make it feel like home or use it as a come and go to explore the surrounding areas. A great stay for anyone that is into ORV trail riding as well. There is a gas station roughly 5 minutes from the Airbnb that we like to frequent. Trail accesses are everywhere. We look forward to staying with Kaitlin again in the future!

We booked this house for a vacation, we liked everything, the house is clean, corresponds to all the photos, a very comfortable sauna, lots of games, and also very quiet, which allows you to really relax from the city😍

This is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with a short walk down to the lake. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin, which offered the perfect amount of space for the two of us. The cabin is spotless and well-supplied with needed items. We also enjoyed visiting the Dublin General Store, downtown Manistee for the river walk, cute shops and restaurants, and a day on the Lake Michigan beach.
