Around the lake you can experience untouched nature. The Elster Cycle Trail connects Saxony and Thuringia along the reservoir dam. The town of Elsterberg with all shopping can be reached in 3 minutes driving.

Ideal starting point for destinations in northeastern Bavaria, southeastern Thuringia and impressions at the former German border. We also welcome guests in transit, hikers and cyclists. Breakfast is possible.

Your dog is also welcome on the fenced, 1600 sqm garden plot. Wi-Fi, sauna, hot tub and table tennis are available free of charge. The pool and sauna are exclusively available for you. Free parking is also available in the fenced property and in front of the garage.

Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.

When booking for more than 4 adults (max. 6), additional fees of €10 per person per night apply. These will be billed retrospectively through Airbnb.

This stylish accommodation is our third apartment in the same house. On the 3rd floor with beautiful views, a newly furnished modern apartment awaits you for max. 3 people with 2 bedrooms and a well-equipped modern kitchen. A washing machine offers long-term bookers more comfort. A gym with sauna is 5 minutes away, tram, playground, Aldi and official facilities are all within walking distance.
