This is a working cattle ranch so you can take in sunsets as cattle graze in front of you. Cottages are newly built and fully furnished. The Package Store

Relax at this early 20th century former package store that now nestles among post oaks and pines on our family ranch in Bastrop County. The Package Store was built by my grandfather in the early 1930’s overlooking the Brazos River in the East Texas community of Washington-on-the-Brazos. “Old Washington,” as it is locally known, was the site of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence from Mexico on March 2, 1836.
