The location is excellent—just near the beach, though you need to cross the road to get there and the restaurant need 15 to 30 min drive. Each room is well-equipped with three single beds, making it comfortable for small groups. A convenient feature is the separate door that allows guests to enter directly from the pool area, which is great for those who want to take a quick swim and return to their rooms easily. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, with options like bread, cornflakes, and eggs, which is a nice touch. One of the highlights of this homestay is the activities they suggest for guests. The neighboorhood quiet. Close to beach. It is always breezy in the surroundings. Close to grocery stores & restaurants for breakfast & dinner. Clean inside & surrounds of the house. Getting around the place is also close to some other beach areas for sightseeing.

It really is paradise. We sat, and watched and listened and adored what was in front of us…it’s a true gem of a place. Great restaurants with local food; chances to be a bit adventurous with hikes and snorkelling etc. Kelvin and Nathalie were such lovely hosts. We really do recommend this place.

My family and I had a great experience staying at Inap Penyabong. Faris the host, was so kind to let us check in at 2PM when the actual check-in time is 3PM and always responds quickly! The journey to the homestay was a little hassle because of the location that is relatively far but it is within the Jeti Tanjung Penyabong and the now viral island; Pantai Pasir Lanun! <2mins to the jetty by car, while 5mins walking i suppose so. Due to the weather, my family and I decided to stay in and spend our time in the homestay, enjoying the pool and bbq. We were surprised by horses wandering around 🤭🐎 Overall, this place feels like home 🤗🫶🏻

We LOVED our stay at the Nipah Chalet! It exceeded our expectations by far. Abbas and his worker Nazirul were the most friendly and welcoming persons we’ve probably met abroad. We did so many cool acitivities (snorkeling, trekking, fishing) with them. We also loved our little cozy hut right on the beachfront. We can do nothing but recommend this chalet to everyone traveling to Tioman because it’s the perfect mix of kindness, coziness, adventure and island experience. Enjoy!! :)

This little house just on the coast line is a paradise! We were almost all the time alone on the beach. It's so peaceful! Water tap in front of the house, hammock, table closer to the beach - all these makes the stay comfortable and it is clear that the space is very well planned. The electric water heater worked well.

I went to stay one night with family for cny. I twas a nice stay we did bbq had fun in the pool and beach. Since its monsoon the waves are strong, and dirty. But the stay very nice and clean, if got chance will repeat. The host is very friendly too. Help us as much as she can. Give us flexible time for check in and check out. Barang semua lengkap except hairdyer and tv. But thats not a problem, in fact i loved that they dont have tv and wifi, we spend quality time with family. Overalll best sangatttttt ,!!!

My husband and I felt very comfortable! The entire team was very friendly and helpful. Both our first two nights in the dome and our nights at the beach house were very pleasant. Both rooms were clean and pleasant. The food was excellent, we could also order for dinner in the morning. All in all, a wonderful holiday!

A nice place to stay to experience rural mersing. 25min drive to Mersing and 20min drive to Endau. Some nearby stalls are closed during the weekdays so be sure to check their opening hours on Google Maps before heading there. Room was clean and everything was in working order. There are some drinks and food you can buy from the fridge. One unpleasant experience I faced was a shower of heavy rain that was deafening as the room had no soundproofing. Most of the sound came from the toilet which has a plastic rather than concrete roof. I would advise to bring a pair of noise-cancelling earbuds or earplugs just in case of heavy rain! The nearby Mersing Geopark (aka Pulau Mawar) is a photogenic place to visit, but now has a hefty RM20 entrance fee for daytime and RM50 for overnight.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Reef. It's close to the main jetty of the island (just follow the road until you see a big sign). Breakfast varies, is good and plenty (buffet if many people, a la carte on the other days, sometimes daily specials as well). You can grab lunch here as well, but it's also close to other restaurants in town. Communication was always easy, we got many tips for activities around the island and help with anything we needed. They also offer laundry and some rental services. Cleanliness was overall good, though the sink was dirty and the outside rubbish was forgotten. Though nothing that impacted our stay much. We would definitely recommend a stay at "Coral Reef" (make sure you go snorkeling above the coral reef in front of the hotel)!

The house is neat clean and spacious.. very comfortable for those who come in groups.. we stayed one night near here sitting in 8 hours before checking out.. the neighbor next door is good ready to offer to eat it happens to be a bbq.. overall nice place to stay. Improvement maybe you have to stanby the mosquito repellent that the pound is already ckup.. as there are mosquitoes sketches the door to close tightly ✌️

The house is in a clean condition. Basic items are provided (no cooker, water filter, microwave). There is an iron and hair dryer. the water heater in the master bedroom bathroom is only. But because the house is only a place to sleep and change clothes, very adequate. The space is big and comfortable for my family of five. There is one queen bed, two single beds and an extra mattress. but the extra ones have to bring their own blanket. The surrounding area is quiet. there is a thai restaurant in front of the house. there is also a supermarket nearby. Worth the price
