Cottage vacation rentals in Romandie

Well designed cottage and great hosts. Modern, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, clean modern bathrooms, lovely large outdoor space next to a babbling brook. Hosts were very responsive, friendly and helpful. Sewen is a tiny quiet town with a single restaurant that was excellent. Need to drive to next town(s) for food shop, boulangerie and other restaurants. As with any rental, bring personal essentials like chef’s knife, paper towels, hairdryer, toiletries, extra pillows but otherwise everything was provided. Highly recommended for a comfortable, quiet get away in Vosges / Ballon mountains. Many hiking paths in the area.

Marjorie‘s home is stunning! It is exactly as described and even prettier in real life than the photos suggest. Although we were a group of 13 people, we did not feel as if we had too little room. They really made the most of the space available. It‘s the perfect getaway for big groups or families if you seek a relaxed few days in France. Marjorie was always only a text away and did her best to help us! We will always remember our stay and would love to return one day! 🌞😊

We had a great week at this cottage. Nothing to say about the installation, everything is as described, all the amenities are available. It is very well located, the shuttle to the ski resorts is right on the side of the road, the nearby town makes it easy to shop and there are many activities to do within an hour's drive. We had an absolutely unforgettable girls weekend in this beautiful RB&B. The place is perfectly suited for travelers who are not from the same family, each having their own bathroom, which is really very much appreciated. The spaces are large, tastefully decorated down to the smallest detail. When we arrived, everything was impeccable, and soft relaxing background music immediately put us in the mood. The Nordic bath was a real favorite: an extra that really made all the difference in our stay. Everything is perfectly well-equipped, nothing was missing. A big thank you also to Rachel for her quick response and flexibility regarding check-in and check-out times, it's a huge plus! We recommend this place without hesitation and will be happy to go back. Thanks again for a great stay!

Very authentic home on the mountain overlooking the lake and other mountains. The chamois visited in the mornings and evenings. Incredible views! Sabrina stayed in touch and was available when needed.

On weekends at Evelyne and Laurent's with my daughter-in-law husband and 4 dogs, a friendly welcome, responsive to requests, beautiful cottage with a beautiful view, parking space. Well-stocked cottage, bright on the ground floor. I highly recommend it, because Evelyne and Laurent welcomed us despite our 4 great lascars. Rare are the cottages that welcome dogs and especially at no extra cost. Region with lots of castles, pretty villages, quiet as we like them. Thank you Evelyne and Laurent.

The Alpe Ronco is a wonderful, quiet place and Emanuele was always available for us. There are wonderful hikes and also challenging mountain destinations in the area.

We had a great time at Yves and Danika's. Ideally located, quiet, with a great view this accommodation is also very well-equipped. As advertised and described. Many activities (hiking, paragliding, cycling, paddle boarding and others) can be done within a 30-minute drive from the accommodation. The Chalet du Lac restaurant, located a 15-minute walk away, is also worth trying.

We had a wonderful time with Elena in the upper house. We absolutely liked it, just like in the pictures, clean, well equipped, quiet location, ideal to relax. We cooked every day in a superbly equipped kitchen, used herbs from the garden, went hiking a lot and discovered a lot. Elena was easy to reach, helped us with luggage transport, was always responsive with good tips. The church bells ring hourly, for us it was not a problem, rather peaceful. We were very lucky with the weather, an absolutely relaxing stay and we will be very, very happy to come back. Our dog also felt very comfortable. Everything was perfect for us.

The house is located in a very beautiful unspoiled and quiet environment, at the same time as close to Chambéry / Challes les Eaux. We enjoyed the garden, the indoor and outdoor space, without immediate neighbors or opposite, and the authenticity of this old building with all the comforts needed for a few days of vacation. The instructions given by Gaétan were clear, with indications of the surrounding activities, markets and shops.

A nice little house directly on the lake. Pure relaxation with sauna and enough space for four to sit on the sofa. You are quickly in the city or in the mountains and various shopping facilities are available nearby. Lovingly decorated and cozy. Very nice contact and impeccable communication.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Denise's place. The place is tastefully decorated and was very clean. Denise surprised the children with an Easter nest, which we were very happy about. The communication also went very well and we also got a lot of good tips for activities. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very good week at Corentin's cottage. The location and views of the valley immediately won us over. The cottage has lots of charm. Great location for hiking and visiting the area. We would highly recommend it.

The small house offered by Corinne is aptly named: it is small but very well arranged, no space is wasted and we appreciated the absence of stairs. The large living room with open kitchen is a very pleasant living room. The rooms, located in a secluded area, are cozy and have good bedding. The amenities are as described in the listing, there is enough to cook and keep busy with a well-stocked library (the games were particularly appreciated by our children!). We weren't able to enjoy the outdoor space due to the rain but the garden looks nice, with a small terrace for an outdoor lunch. The grounds are enclosed, which is a big plus with small children. We loved our (too short) stay in this charming home, we recommend it!

We had a wonderful time at this place! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Urs, and everything was exactly as indicated in the description. The apartment or cottage was spotlessly clean and stylishly furnished. The surroundings can be explored on foot. The in-house sauna is very inviting to relax. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail and the hospitality of the hosts. They were available at all times and made sure we didn't miss anything. We would book this place again without hesitation and can fully recommend it. Thanks for the great experience!

Our second time staying. Really nice sized kitchen/living room with table, pool table and table football. Swings and slide in the garden. There is a small but nice playground 300m away and a beautiful lake is just 2km away.

We felt very, very comfortable in David's house. We didn't lack anything, the house is well equipped and was perfectly prepared for us - thank you, David! Even the firewood in the fireplace was directed. The tranquility is really perfect for a good rest. The lovingly designed outdoor area also contributes to this. Two aspects seem worth mentioning to me: 1. Getting to the house is about 250 m via a steeper, unpaved forest path (beware of vehicles with sports chassis, etc.) 2. The upper bedrooms have no standing height; adults/larger people can sit there "only" upright There were five of us at David's house and definitely want to come back!
