'The Steading’ is a barn cabin on a working farm with wood burning stove set near the North Coast 500 route. Enjoy the peace of the Highlands while painting, writing, yoga, walking and cycling or simply relaxing in front of the fire with a cup of tea. NO SHOWER / NO HOT running water. Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a peaceful orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.

The centre of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a ten minute walk. The expanse of sandy beach and dunes is approximately, a fifteen minute walk. It is perfectly situated as a pit-stop for the NC500 or as a base to enjoy the hills, glens and coastline.

One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
