Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rogaland

This was a great space, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and great location. Only thing to know is if you choose to stay in the loft you need to come down stairs and back in through the apartment door to get to the bathroom. Highly recommended place!

Helt fantastisk plass! Jonas er en super vert, svarte raskt og kom meg gode anbefalinger. Kjøkkenet har det man trenger og stampen var et stort pluss. Anbefales på det sterkeste, vi kommer tilbake :)

Veldig hyggelig vert, fleksibel og gjorde mye for at oppholdet vårt skulle bli bra. Hadde forberedt hytten godt og var tilgjengelig under hele oppholdet. Gleder meg til å komme tilbake i sommer, for å nyte sjøen, båt og badstu enda en gang

We a family of 4 arrived at Magnar's cabin for one night and stayed for two. We did not get a chance to meet Magnar but he was available all the time and very nice. We found the cabin very easy. It was clean very quite and very well equiped. We even made our own bread and pizza ! The view, Oh the view... Magnifisent. Be aware there are no linnens or towels as it is the standard in cabins across Norway. Toilete has no flush water but we found it no problem at all !!! All in all it was great! Thanks Magnar!

Øystein ist ein super Gastgeber, keine Frage blieb lange unbeantwortet und generell eine spitzen Kommunikation, auch in deutsch. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in seiner tollen Villa, ich vermisse diesen grandiosen Ausblick aus dem Wohn- und Essbereich. Daumen hoch Øystein, das war Klasse bei dir, Danke dafür..!!

Die Lage und das Ferienhaus sind wirklich sehr schön. Hat alles super gepasst, die Gastgeber waren nett und bei Fragen immer zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönenUrlaub!

Great house, great place! We had all we need!

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Vikedal. This was, without doubt, one of the most pleasant vacations we ever spent. Not only because of the location and surroundings, but also because of your friendly and warm welcome.

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

Whether you are looking for a place where your dog feels welcomed or a lovely place to stay overnight, this flat and environment makes it easy to enjoy Jørpeland. The flat provides an inviting environment for both guests and their pets. The space is thoughtfully designed, combining coziness with all the necessary amenities for both short and extended stays. On sunny days, the balcony offers a delightful spot to unwind and enjoy the surrounding scenery. All in all, we were super happy with our accommodation.

The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring that all my questions were answered promptly. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet conveniently close to local attractions and grocery. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I would definitely stay here again!

We hadden een fijn verblijf met onze drie kinderen (9, 8 en 4). Het huis was ruim en licht. Alles was netjes schoon en de bedden waren bij aankomst opgemaakt, heerlijk! Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer was prachtig en we waren vlakbij de Preekstoel. De communicatie was heel prettig.

Wunderbar zum entspannen und wohlfühlen. Durch die direkte Lage am Wasser, kann man direkt ins Wasser eintauchen oder angeln. Restaurants oder Bars sind fußläufig nicht erreichbar aber war für uns jetzt kein Problem, wir haben uns selbst versorgt. Ein Grill ist vorhanden und die Küche hat alles was man braucht. Auch Pascha (mein Hund) hat den Aufenthalt genossen ☺️ Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Patricia hat uns Tipps gegeben für Ausflüge und war immer top erreichbar wenn wir irgendwelche Fragen hatten. Edwin hat uns eine sehr gute Einweisung ins dazu gemietete Boot gegeben 👌 Danke für die herzliche Kommunikation, ihr seid tolle Menschen 😘 Liebe Grüße

Ein schönes Haus weit draußen in der Natur. Der nahegelegene See lädt dazu ein mit den Kanus erkundet zu werden. Ingrid war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hatten eine schöne Zeit dort.

Perfect stay for our Christmas holiday! The house was decorated, beautiful, and very large. The kids couldn’t stay out of the pool and hot tub! Host was very very accommodating, and the location was breath taking! Id do it again in a heart beat :) very pleased.

Loved our stay so much we returned two years later for ONS. Business trip for 4-5 and made for a great base for the event, and close to the entertainment each evening while allowing us the ability to keep on top of our work and hold wrap up and 2025 planning meetings.

It is a nice house in a wonderful surrounding. we had lots of fun in the waterfall, the river and the fjord. The conversations with Olav were always on point and fast answered. I recommend it warmly.

Hemos pasado 8 días increíbles en este alojamiento. Las vistas al fiordo son espectaculares. La casa tiene todo lo necesario. El jacuzzi estaba preparado cuando llegamos. Todo un lujo. Jim ha sido un anfitrión estupendo y la excursión que contratamos en su lancha fue una experiencia impresionante. La casa es aún mejor que en las fotos. 😍😍
