Great hosts and great accommodation.

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

It was a wonderful week, soft perfect beds, well equipped house of high standard, very good wlan, good fishing boats, big freezer, own fishermen kitchen … and the best is simply the marvelous view 😁

Wir haben leider eine regnerische Woche in Norwegen erwischt. Wir waren trotzdem wandern, golfen und angeln, aber waren auch viele Stunden in der Unterkunft und haben die Brandung aus dem Wohnzimmer durch die wunderschöne Fensterfront genossen. Das kann man wirklich nicht beschreiben.

Super logement, au calme et très privé ! J'étais avec un ami mais le logement convient sûrement mieux pour un couple (juste un lit de 120cm) ! Noémi a répondu à nos questions (avec un peu de délai) !

Schöne Lage, direkt am Wasser und sehr ruhig, einfache Hütte, jedoch sehr sauber, ideal für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Alles notwendige ist vorhanden.

Vi var to par som umiddelbart fant oss godt til rette i dette sjarmerende gamle huset i Ladestedet. Flott uteplass og sentral beliggenhet i fascinerende Strandgaten. Gode, presise instruksjoner fra vertskapet. Takk for et hyggelig opphold. Mvh Ingvild og Petter Sørensen, Skien

Wonderful set up, extremely well equipped and thoughtfully supplied apartment. Excellent value for money. We were pleasantly surprised by how convenient the location was, so many options for shopping and dining mere minutes away, yet located in a quain, leafy suburban street. The bed is lovely and comfortable. Huge shower and bathroom with a very nice shower head. We were in Stavanger for an event, so we only used the apartment as a base to rest and wash and for this it was absolutely perfect. Would definitely return again and hope to be able to enjoy the beauty of the location more next time. Thank you.

It is a nice house in a wonderful surrounding. we had lots of fun in the waterfall, the river and the fjord. The conversations with Olav were always on point and fast answered. I recommend it warmly.

Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub bei Ashild und Ihrem zuhause gehabt. Ihr Mann hatte uns bei der Ankunft herzlich Empfangen und in allen Dingen eingewiesen. Ein Boot kann zum Aufenthalt auch gemietet werden. Wir hatten leider beim Wetter nicht so viel Glück. Vielleicht beim nächsten mal. 😊 Das Haus war gut eingerichtet uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen. Man findet dort die Zeit zum abschalten. Ein tolles Haus und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Ohne Leihwagen wäre es schwierig gewesen, von dort hin und her zu kommen. Wir hatten eine tolles Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

I had a wonderful time in Suzannes apartment. You get everything what you need, the place is new, cozy and very clean. I really loved the view and the neighborhood. The little island where the house is located is sooo idyllic and definitely one of my favorite places in the area. Public transportation works well and you can have very nice walks in this peaceful area. It’s super quiet but still not far from the city. I’ll come back definitely :)

Wonderful location, breath taking view on the fjord and surrounding hills. Host are friendly and helpful and close by if you need them yet everyone enjoys their privacy. Nice, modern spacious home. Well equipped kitchen, small amenities provided. We got some help on finding hiking trails could rent the hosts boat. Excellent wifi to work remotely. Could not have asked for anything more. Vi var en gjeng på ti stykker ut på helgetur. Huset er nydelig og ligger perfekt til for turer på sjøn. Tusen hjertelig takk fra helen gjengen og på gjensyn neste år

Vi blev virkelig godt modtaget og følte os straks hjemme. Fantastisk beliggenhed lige ned til Lysefjorden. Gode anbefalinger til vandreture i området som byder på meget mere end Prejkestolen. Hele vejen fortrinlig og venlig kommunikation.
