Fantastic house immersed in a beautiful neighborhood, that of Gávea. A 30-minute walk to the beach but also very close to the Atlantic Forest. The host family is as nice as they are kind, I met James (the owner's son) who took care of the check-in. A wonderful guy, very kind and always available to help me with any questions during my stay. Mrs. Luciana is equally kind and sweet, very attentive to guests. I will definitely be back!!! A stay that I recommend to everyone

Capy welcomed us very warmly, was very kind and was always available to assist us. They're very nice people. We felt at home. The house is very cozy, the pool is wonderful. The garden is like something out of a movie, take the opportunity to take lots of photos. Boats are available all the time. We are already looking forward to returning.

We had the best time there. Tauli was our main contact person before the trip and was always reachable and nice (we didn't get to know her personally). Once we got there, we were welcomed by Mairê. In the following days we also got to know Capy. Mairê and Capy were often around and were also very nice and attentive. When they were not there, the communication worked well via a chatting app. About the place, it is like a natural refuge in the middle of Rio (we were there during Carnival). We had both rooms and because of that, the whole space just for us, including the pool and the outdoor kitchen. We spent a good amount of time in these places. For our small children it was also amazing, with the big garden, the pool, the animals etc. Getting around with the taxi boats worked quite well in general. It was very nice to get from the house to the metro station. Repellent is essential, otherwise you'll be eaten alive by the mosquitos. We would definetely stay there again.

Great hosts! The place was exactly as described. The location is just a few minutes walk to Arcos do Lapa, some grocery stores and a few amazing restaurants. And there were Monkeys in the garden! Eduardo was a great host from the beginning. He gave excellent recommendations and made us feel like we were home. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay,super well located and super clean. Caroline is super helpful,we were super well received, well located location has everything close by (banks,supermarkets, bakery, large shopping mall 5 minutes away and fast food, subway station a few blocks away that leads to the beach and the city center)without difficulty for locomotion. The house is perfect according to the listing everything well planned and cozy. The place is quite quiet and quite safe. When I needed information, Caroline helped me with everything. Caroline is an excellent host note 1000, I highly recommend it. Me and my wife will come back more often. #amamosaTijuca❤❤

Absolutely loved Leonardo's place! From the beautiful surrandings of Tijuca greenery, to monkeys anf tropical birds at the doorstep! The area was safe and peaceful, but with everything needed in the walking distance (totally recommend churrascaria on the corner of the street!). The host was very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond and the airbnb furnished perfectly, with great large shower, very comfortable bed and even projector with netflix, prime etc and beautiful terrace with dinning table and views. This marks my third visit to Julienne's space and there are many reasons for that: a quiet, safe neighborhood that is not touristy but has a local feel. GREAT views. Flexible check in, responsive and pro-active. The space has all the needed amenities. Joao and Julienne helped me to locate tickets for the Flamengo game. I cannot recommend any of their properties enough for the solo traveler or couples looking to see more than just Copa and Ipanema. Santa Teresa is a lively neighborhood on the weekends and the even livelier Lapa is just a 10 minute ride away. The neighborhood has a trolley system being updated to make it even easier to enjoy the community. Book it!

Carol is very attentive, she responded super fast, guided us, gave us tips on places, welcomed us, the corner is beautiful, super comfortable, and São Conrado beach is beautiful, the surroundings too, there are kiosks very close, market, hortifruti, pharmacy. I highly recommend it! 💖

The recommended place if you are needing to put your mind in place and leave the soul in peace. An extremely cozy house with nature, brightness and corner of the birds. A great neighborhood, amazing architecture that makes you feel at home even without ever having stepped on it before. The captivating, communicative, kind and helpful hostess makes the experience at last, perfect. I will definitely return other times and with new people so that everyone can have the possibility to enjoy this house.

Maria was extremely hospitable! Always very attentive and cordial, always responding quickly to our requests, gave us tips on places in the neighborhood. I will definitely be staying with her more often!

Marcelo and Isabel are very welcoming and kind. They speak French very well, which is a big plus for us as we don't speak Portuguese. The house is beautiful, a peaceful oasis. Our accommodation was clean on arrival, access by elevator and shower with sky view, it was great. The pool is a meeting place with the owners and other occupants, all very friendly. Uber is very convenient when you don't want to walk up from the Gloria metro station. Access to all tourist attractions in Rio, very good location of the accommodation. Maria’s place was exactly what we needed during our 10 day stay in Brazil. It was close to all the nearby beaches and tours we did during our time there. Maria let us check in once we got there which was amazing, we had the opportunity to settle in and enjoy rio the same day we got there. The apartment was perfect for us 3 and even accommodated 2 more people! I definitely recommend Maria’s place if you ever come to Brazil!

The house is very beautiful, quiet and pleasant. It was very easy to find, and with many good things nearby: restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies and markets. Close to the lagoon and just minutes from the beach. Patricia welcomed us very well, and the icing on the cake was the super cute puppy of the house that came to play every morning. I highly recommend it and I certainly think about coming back! Thank you for everything!

I felt very comfortable in the apartment and had a wonderful time there. The atmosphere is pleasantly familial, the neighborhood friendly, and the location simply ideal. The apartment is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Botafogo, yet only a 15-minute walk from the subway, perfect for exploring Rio from there. The area is also very safe, and I felt completely at ease walking outside alone at night. Marcia and Luiz are incredibly warm and always willing to help. The check-in process was smooth, and they were very flexible with the timing. The apartment is fully equipped, so I was able to prepare more elaborate meals over the holidays, when many of the restaurants were closed. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I hope to return someday!
