The community is atv friendly and also boasts a beautiful creek containing brook trout and picturesque waterfall. Winterplace , Hatfield Mccoy Trails, and Appalachian trail all only minutes away.

Centrally located, it’s a short drive to Winterplace Ski Resort, WV’s 1st Mountain Coaster & PuttPutt at Brush Creek Falls, HMT, Pipestem, New and Bluestone Rivers. EV charging station 1/2 mile, Camp Creek. A couple’s get away, traveling for bus, or family vacay, our cabin is perfect. We strive to make every guest as comfortable as possible!

Sit in front of the 100 year-old (gas) fireplace, or enjoy the outdoor fire pit. Hike on private Virginia Highland trails. 11 miles south of HWY 81. Conveniently located to New River Trail, Iron Heart Winery. The perfect getaway! Notice for winter guests-4 wheel drive is needed in icy or snowy conditions.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

The Whitetail at Pipestem Place

The Whitetail is a conventional-style log cabin, cozy and appealing, with two bedrooms, two baths, living room, dining and kitchen; stone wood-burning fireplace, central A/C-heat. The Whitetail is reminiscent of the simple, tranquil country life as you swing or rock on the front porch, listen and watch for beautiful songbirds, deer and other wildlife that often wander across the meadow. You can purchase beef, pork, and chicken to cook while you’re here or bring a cooler and take some home.
