Family-friendly vacation rentals in Río San Juan

Fantastic place to stay. The space was perfect for our family of five. Though we spent most of the time on the beach, we enjoyed lazy mornings on the balcony and family movie nights in living room. Tamara was very quick to respond and arranged our taxis to and from airport.

we were 3 adults staying for 2 nights. The apartment was large and well maintained. Million dollar views. Staff were wonderful. Will definitely go here again.

Beautiful place to stay, 100% recommended

The apartment its better than the photos. Is a very spacious, comfortable and lovely apartment. It's clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and everything worked. The apartment it a ground floor so its very kid friendly, it looks out to the ocean from the porch. The complex is safe and well maintained. Check-in and check out was easy. The grocery store is likewise about a 5 minute drive. We'll be back soon.

Loved it! I had a very relaxing week at this apartment. I have been inCabarete several times and Sea Winds is my favorite place to stay. You have it all, Luxury, comfort, privacy, relaxation and the view. Is the best place to stay, seriously. If you are kite surfing you could pump your kite on the grass and launch from there, if you are taking lessons or renting equipment you have the option to a very pleasant walk 10 minutes on the beach either right to cabarete bay or left to kite beach to find the schools restaurants and night life. No need for a car, walk on the beach or a moto taxis for 100pesos take you to town in 3 minutes. New supermarket Janet is 10 minutes walk on the beach and get to main road from there where you can get supplies. This particular apartment is beautiful with 2 balconies to relax while looking at the scenery, nice kitchen with all you need for cooking, laundry, very comfortable beds, great Air conditioning and fans. Hot water in shower…it was just perfect!

The place at Bahia de Arena was superb. Quick access to beach and walking to restaurants. Joe communicated throughout our stay. House keeper coming in MWF was helpful to keep things clean and even doing our laundry mid week for us! Note that listing states there is a washer and dryer but it is kept locked up by the house keeper so we weren't able to use it the day we left to dry our wet suits, etc. Additionally we had a broken glass one day and there is no broom available for guest use. Only suggestion I have would be to let guests use the washer/dryer and cleaning supplies!

We rented this villa with my family during COVID-19 Pandemic. We were looking for a place that have us the privacy we needed to stay safe and limit our exposure all while giving us everything we needed in a vacation. The crew at this villa did an excellent job. They took care of every meal we had. They organized our car rental and helped us plan day trips. Kept our place clean everyday, ensured our security and took care of any little issues that came along on the way. The beach, the pool and the villa were great. An all in one place that answered all our needs and kept us safe. I highly recommend this villa and this team. You won’t be disappointed.

What a gem! I traveled to the DR with my toddler and dog and we felt right at home in Michelle’s place. We were able to completely immerse ourselves in Dominican culture. We walked the neighborhood daily and made friends with locals. We were able to visit the local shops and have evening meals on the balcony. Communication with Birkan was easy and he was attentive to our concerns. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Place was spacious and very clean. 3 large bedrooms and two full baths. Loved the pool and outdoor shower. Location was perfect distance from lots of restaurants outside the gated community and extremely close to a few amazing ones in the community. (Natura Cabana is an easy 10 minute walk and has amazing food and views and so is the Italian restaurants 2 doors down from the property) Gated community also has a gorgeous and easy 1 mile trail to encuentro.

When you read that the pictures don't do this house justice, it's true. Very easy to get to with the location that Scarlett sends, the house is spacious and has everything you need. The location is restful with a breathtaking view. I will definitely visit again.

Nestled in a secluded cove, host was extremely attentive and very prompt in response. Very cozy and super spacious, enough to accommodate many. Wonderful pool, surrounded by nature, and wonderful for stargazing and relaxing. Very nice modern design.

If you love the beach and/or surf this place is the perfect stay! The 10 min walk to the beach was a daily activity for us. The space is quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay very much 😊

Location / home / over all experience better than described. I wanna personally thank Norm and Johnny for accommodating me and my family on this short 3 night stay. Will definitely book again in the near future.

Our stay at David’s exceeded our hopes for a great beachside vacation. The place was cozy, clean with modern style, yet not cold and impersonal and had some Dominican style to it as well. The community that David’s place is in, is welcoming, safe and we met lots of great people. Great pool, landscaping, gardens and there are so many great places to just sit back and enjoy. David was responsive with questions, had lots of recommendations for Places to eat and things to do, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We will come back to again for sure!

Oliver is a great host. He was available to respond all the time. The location and space were excellent. The grounds that the property is on is very tranquil and beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Such a wonderful person to chat with, everything was as described and more, she even provided us with the BBQ Girls when I requested it.... Never got to meet here in person (didn't need to) but she was very helpful and on her toes with any concerned I had (which were minor to say the least).... The villa is wonderful and great for groups, the staff are super friendly and super attentive..... The maid was nice (you might want to tip a heavy one to get breakfast cooked by her) but other than that she made the place spotless everyday.... The manager of the property came very day to check on us and was very happy and welcoming ( my friends and I called him happy feet lol).... The restaurant at the property near by was on point ,,,,try their steak, one of my top 5 steaks I had in my life (I am a steak lover).... Security were present with guns to assure a safe stay....everything was close by (driving) from sosua to Cabarete.... Overall would definitely stay there,,,,,, Rating out of 10 would be 9/10

The house was everything that we hoped for. Mark and his team were excellent hosts. They made travel and activities arrangements for us. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Cabarete. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again. 5 Stars all the way around….
