Places to stay in Rio Nido, Guerneville

Collin’s place was such a cute and cozy retreat! The outdoor deck with stream was the best part of his house. Getting in and out of the driveway was a bit stressful as cars do tend to drive fast on that road, but Collin has certainly warned us about that. Collin’s description of the house, things to look out for, and local recommendations were also great! Very helpful. Would love to return some time if I can!

We spent a week at Anita's place, it is very nice, private, and comfortable. The home is located in a very quiet, safe, and walkable neighborhood containing many restaurant choices including the highly rated El Molino. It is 2.5 miles from the Sonoma Square, less to the historic General Vallejo's home, and nearby hiking at the Montini reserve trail with gorgeous views of the Sonoma Valley. Communication with the hosts was easy. They are welcoming and accommodating making our stay very enjoyable. Their dog, Oisin, is one of the best behaved I have met and added another layer of fun to our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Airbnb. We hope to stay again. Anita is definitely a superhost!

Would definitely stay again. Impeccably designed, felt so relaxing and comfortable. Within 5-7 minutes of downtown Sonoma. Quiet neighborhood. Loved this place!

3 Bay Area adults on a birthday weekend. Absolutely charming get away in a historic home. The most comfortable living room and outdoor spaces. We loved the woodsy back yard and curated garden. Quiet. the kitchen was well equipped. A beautiful park across the street and walking distance to wineries and restaurants. Attentive owner responded to our requests. Highly recommend Kenwood House and hope to be back again!

Madeleine’s home is quaint and cozy. My friend and I were traveling for an event in Sonoma and we really enjoyed having our own private bedrooms to unwind and sleep in. I stayed in the detached cottage room and it really wasn’t a big deal to walk 20 seconds to get to the bathroom. I just threw on a robe to walk between my room and the bathroom space and it was plenty private. Madeleine provided lots of fresh water and some good basic amenities in each room that really helped to make the place cozy and enjoyable. The outside cottage might be a bit tight for a couple or two people, but it could work for a short trip. I would definitely stay here again!

Cute cottage, perfect for our family of four. We loved the back verandah and hot tub. The kitchen, laundry and bathroom had all we needed. Thank you Hilltop Haven for being our home away from home.

We loved staying at Kathryn’s place and everything was as described if not better! The location was superb, up the hill and nestled in the woods yet a short drive into town with lots of restaurants and wineries! We especially enjoyed the breakfast that was served every morning which was a special treat and we could pick the night before what we wanted. The place was perfectly appointed and we especially loved the bathroom which was a really good size and felt very luxurious! You can see the owners’ pride and artistry in every little piece and we definitely want to come back!

We loved Laura’s place! The house is extremely comfortable and homey- and the garden area is absolutely sublime. The aroma of jasmine saturates the air and brought us immense joy. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well stocked if one needs to cook. Location is wonderful. Thank you!

Nice and convenient to Harbin Hot springs. close to grocery and a few restaurants. Nice country area with great view of mountains and horses. Peaceful except for a bit of road noise, but it wasn't too bothersome. We would have appreciated some better quality bathroom towels, washcloths, more dishtowels etc. Jakob responded right away to questions about heater and lack of washcloths. He brought some wash cloths over with an hour. overall, very nice stay. Would recommend this place as good value.
