Villa vacation rentals in Río Grande

Our goal was to find an upscale house that was quiet and outside the bustle of San Juan but close enough for occasional visits. Villa Maxine was exactly what we were hoping for. Charlotte's superb home is propped on the top of a large hill providing expansive views and privacy. The rooms are spacious with the living or great room being the center of activity and relaxation. The highlight, however, is the outdoor space. The decks around the gorgeous, clean and refreshing pool provide multiple choices for relaxing, sunbathing or eating. Trips to Old San Juan are a short 25 minutes and a rental car is a must. Communication with Charlotte and associates was immediate and accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.

This was a family get together with 13 of us…we all loved the place. It was a gorgeous serene setting. We enjoyed the pool and the hammocks. We were able to do day trips and then return to a peaceful relaxing oasis.

Our group of nine had an amazing experience staying in Camila’s place. You can literally walk to the beach. It is a great location with lots of parking for our rental car. I also appreciated the gated community. The pool made a huge difference for us after long days of walking or beach it was nice to relax in the pool. I also loved all the restrooms available. It allowed us to have privacy and had enough showers to get ready all of us at a time. Overall it was a great experience for our group.

Victoria’s place was such a great place for our family. We had a great week!

Maribel and Enrique were very gracious hosts. The house is centrally located with easy access to San Juan nightlife and sightseeing and easy to access the center mountainous region of the Isla del Encanto! The home was warm and welcoming with a beautiful patio area for morning coffee and evening rum! The coqui frogs serenaded us every evening. Would love staying here again.

We have stayed at the Casitas before (in a different unit) and love the location. Lots to do from beaches, rain forest, boat trips or just lounging at the gorgeous pools. The place is beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds comfortable. Our two complaints were that it could get quite noisy as the balconies faced the road with golf carts going back and forth and we did lose power (no fault of the unit owner) and there is no back-up generator. We still had an amazing time, and in-truth was better without electronics!

We just returned from an amazing stay at this jungle‐hilltop retreat! The house itself is incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and perfectly positioned to take in those lush mountain views—especially from the pool deck, where each sunset felt like a private show. Our hosts were wonderfully attentive, always on hand with thoughtful suggestions for local trails, dining spots, and any little thing we needed. As for the driveway, we’d heard it might be tricky, but in our small SUV it proved totally manageable—and honestly added a bit of adventurous charm. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone craving comfort, privacy, and spectacular panoramas!

We had an awesome stay. The communication was always on point. Any issues were resolved promptly. The view was breathtaking! Totally recommend it!

This place is incredible. Multiple people in our group said they slept like a baby every night. Fall asleep to the sounds of Coquis and wake up to the sound of songbirds. We came in mid-March. It got a little chilly at night, and perfect during the day. So many people were asking me about the place when I posted on social media. We left yesterday. I already miss it.

I had a great stay at this home in Luquillo! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location was perfect—close to the beach, great local spots to eat, and easy access to El Yunque and other nearby attractions. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay in the area. Would love to come back!

I booked Rosa's home with my husband and another couple. The house is truly lovely and looks just like the pictures, including the phenomenal views and great location. There were so many wonderful details that made it feel like you were stepping back in time! The kitchen and baths were well provisioned, as well the house in general. Additionally, although we experienced a blackout while we were there, Rosa and Michael made it painless, graciously dropping off lanterns, phone chargers and lots of batteries. Highly recommend this lovely, historic home.

We had the most incredible experience at this vacation home in Puerto Rico for New Year’s Eve! From start to finish, the host and their team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The home was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One thing that stood out was the host’s incredible diligence during a power outage on the island. They immediately provided us with battery chargers and flashlights cooler with ice to not to loose our food in the fridge to keep us comfortable and safe. Additionally, when we had an issue with the water heater, the team reacted so quickly and had it fixed in no time. Their responsiveness and care were unmatched! Puerto Rico is an amazing destination, and staying in this home made it even better. A huge thank you to the host and their team for making our New Year’s Eve unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back! There aren't words to describe the perfection of this place. I almost don't want to give it a great review because I want to keep it to myself! You know when you go on vacation to a perfect hotel and you think "I wish I could live here forever, or at least a few months!"? ... that's the feeling this house left me with. I live close by, so I'm familiar with the area. It's the heart of the city, with all the wonderful quirks that come with that. (I'm a born and bred city girl from Miami) But living in San Juan, the inside of this house is what you'd never expect. It's impeccable. They thought of everything. Extra towels? Tons. Coffee filters? Of course! I go to an airbnb like I'm moving in because I'm used to something missing or dirty or maybe the last person took the roll of paper towels, but here, I literally felt like I was in a full service resort, only missing the actual food and drinks. The host was so quick and responsive and accommodating! I cannot wait to go back!!

Sonia’s place was a perfect home away from home. Safe, peaceful, Near the beach, el Yunque and lots of delicious food. Enclosed backyard which was a delight for the kids, we will definitely stay at Ms.Sonia’s home again. Thank you for being flexible with time during our check in.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. This home is beyond dreamy! Everything I had hoped for and SO MUCH MORE. Great location for anyone wanting to experience the Rainforest and authentic PR. ❤️❤️❤️ The host was so helpful, replied to everything within an hour and soooo accommodating. Awesome space. We booked the entire building for our large group and everyone felt it was spacious. Smooth checking 3-4mins walk to plenty restaurants. Ice cold AC and a very relaxing space in the back yard. With plenty of seating and still allows for privacy

Loved the pool, pool table, kitchen, ceiling fans, Alexa speaker, and more. So many fun ways to spend your time. Perfect for large groups especially with kids. The landscaping is so beautiful, can tell a lot of work went into it.

wonderful stay! very beautiful, spacious townhome with many amenities. the balcony at the top floor has a gorgeous view of the mountains and marina close by. Elaine provided thorough instructions for access and beach and sports gear for us to use. also loved the A/C on each floor and the cute decor all throughout the home

Fernando's place was better than I could have hoped for! The unit was spotless and modern with very comfortable beds. The coded entry was very convenient for family members to come and go to the pool, which is straight out of a resort. Waterfall, colored lights, pool bathroom! We were blown away by this accommodation and will absolutely stay again when we come back to Puerto Rico. Fernando checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we did not need anything. I would 100% recommend him as a host.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotlessly clean, which made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It was also very spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the absolute highlights was the incredible view—absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. We found ourselves planning our evenings around being back just to catch the sunset from the property. Truly unforgettable! Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with comfort, space, and stunning scenery. We’d definitely stay here again!

I love staying at this Airbnb. the only thing was that one of the showers were hard to turn on and the handle was loose. other than that it was great.
