Family-friendly vacation rentals in Río Grande

We had a wonderful stay in Puerto Rico! The location was perfect — close to the beach, restaurants, and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The space was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Communication with the host was smooth and easy. We’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! Vanessa was especially helpful with getting us checked in and oriented to the condo/building. She also went really above and beyond to check in on us and make sure we had all we needed. Location is fantastic. Pool and beach never crowded. Short walk to the neighboring resort, if you want to use their amenities. Parking on site. Close to El Yunque. Short drive to San Juan, Luquillo, and Fajardo. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The space was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated, it truly felt cozy and welcoming. You can tell the place is cared for with attention to quality and detail. Our host was also very responsive and helpful, quick to reply to questions. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and charming place!

Quiet neighborhood that felt safe. Jose’s home was really spacious and the patio was beautiful out back with great views of lush greenery. Places to walk out back. Sleeping was comfortable for the 10 of us that were there. What a great big TV room upstairs and when you open the shutters it was just beautiful. All in all we found the home very nice and relaxing and the location was convenient to San Juan. Some in our group made the trip to the city a couple of times. It rained off and on during our stay, as it often does in the rainforest, but even that looked beautiful under cover of the patio. The community pool is close by, and is nice and large, but I do have to say that it wasn’t that clean on the day we went. Jose was a very responsive and communicative host from time of booking till we left. We had some questions while we were there and he answered almost instantly every time. Thank you Jose for providing a good place for our family to have time together.

We had a great time at Lydia’s place. We had plenty of space, it was very clean, golf cart was great addition, and great views! The king bed was very comfortable. We would definitely come back !

We just got back from a week long stay with our family of 5 and had a wonderful time at Diana's place. The location is awesome and the views of the water from the unit were outstanding....just what our family needed. Diana was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the trip. The entire island of PR experienced a brief blackout during our stay and Diana went above and beyond to make us comfortable and accommodate our family above and beyond what other Airbnb hosts would typically do (we travel a lot and use Airbnb frequently). We have 3 young children ages 5 and under and they had a blast. We would not hesitate to recommend Diana and will keep her in mind for future stays beyond just this location. We will be returning!

Flexible on allowing an early check-in. Everything was exactly like pictures. Great location allowing us to walk to several locations as well as easy access to Uber. Great view from the balcony. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend and reserve again. Thank you! Michelle and I loved it and felt very safe. We had an awesome stay!!

Our group of 6 loved staying here. Cyrus was a wonderful host who was very responsive when we reached out. We were able to leave our bags early which really took a load off since the sidewalks are so tight in OSJ. The home was stunning and the large amount of space allowed us to really spread out across different rooms and still maintain a sense of privacy from each other. The stairs to get in were a bit exhausting after a long day, but being able to go to the terrace and look out onto the water, or relax in the reading nook on the other terrace made up for it tenfold. I’m so glad we made the choice to stay here for our first trip to Puerto Rico.

My stay at La Botanica Hotel was simply amazing. The atmosphere there is very calming. Upon entering nto the space with beautiful greenery and sounds of wind chimes, one is transported to an oasis, in the middle of the city. The team members are all very amiable and willing to answer what ever questions I may have had. The room was basic but very comfortable with everything necessary including beach towels, beach mat and cooler bag. I looked forward to the morning yoga practices followed by a vegan breakfast…..the food was definitely a high point with such presentation, flavour and variety! The chefs are awesome, make sure you have Solange’s mole made with pure love! The beach is a mere 5 minute walk away and the water was very warm and enticing.. La Botánica is the perfect unpretentious spot for a reset of mind, body and soul.

Great location with a very short walk to the beach. Would consider staying here again!

What a pleasure it was to experience San Juan with Paloma’s place as a base camp! There is an enchanted feel to old San Juan and Paloma’s place captures that in her creative and comfortable space. Bed was super comfortable as well. Thanks for helping make our visit special!

Wow! Such a beautiful, enchanting stay! From the lovely local art to the unique, charming decor, the place was just an amazing, relaxing paradise. Seen some spectacular sun rises from the patio each morning as the colors from the sun reflected in both the ocean and the swimming pool. The pool was just wonderful! And host, Eguardo, was so kind, proactive to help, and even offered us an early check-in at 10 am! We'll definitely cherish the memories from this fabulous condo. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is the best spot on the island and Bertha is the best host. We always feel so welcome and the location could not be better: literally on the water, you can walk miles of beach from the house (at low tide). You can walk to the kioskos, and you are close to El Yunque and OSJ. All your cares melt away when you are laying on the hammock listening to the waves.

We loved the downstairs area to hang out, play pool, cook and swim! It was nice and cold upstairs and with many ac units. There were 5 of us and it was just right!

This place was definitely beautiful and very unique. There's so much space to lounge in so many places and relax. I loved it and the backyard/pool was amazing, surrounded by the beautiful garden and trees. It felt so private and relaxing.

Unbelievable loft with some incredible views! Loft was in prime location in Condado with easy access to all of San Juan. We had an amazing time and this loft made it even better. Highly recommend!

The place was clean and organized, in a quiet & peaceful neighborhood . The split unit AC in the bedroom made sleeping very comfortable and the WiFi worked well. The place is nicely typical of a real Puerto Rico home environment. The local beaches and restaurants are easy to get to, and the location is nicely not touristy. Communication and friendliness of the hosts were also 5 star. Would stay again.

Lesley was amazing, any questions I had, she responded quickly. The pool area was fun and the beach is literally a one minute walk from the second pool. We were out and about and their was a power outage one evening and Lesley reached out to us via text and through the Airbnb to inform us of what was going on and gave us instructions on how to use the generator. Awesome service through and through. The 2 local beaches next to the Airbnb in addition were great!. We look forward to coming back!!! Al’s place was great in a great area close to local attractions. The pool made it nice to relax on days that you would like to relax. Plenty of restaurants with in walking distance of the house. Quiet neighborhood that we felt safe walking through.

Had a great stay at Paul and Carmen’s Isla Verde condo. They provided great information for our stay as well as had all the beach/pool items to make our stay hassle free. Puerto Rico stole our hearts. Can’t wait to return!
