Vacation rentals with a patio in Rio Dulce

We had a great stay at Wanigi Guesthouse, and Sherlett was a wonderful host. The guesthouse is in a prime location: very close to the airport, and is a short walk to most restaurants and multiple markets. The James bus stop (located across the street from the bank/park) is also within walking distance. The guesthouse was very clean, had cooking supplies (pots/pans, a coffee maker, & a small fridge with a freezer), and a lovely front porch. The A/C was perfect after a hot day, and the hot water in the shower was very nice to have. Sherlett provided a 5-gallon drinking water jug and refill (dependent on local business’s holidays/availability). She also gave very helpful directions and recommendations for our stay.

julio and his family are amazing helpfull people who will go the extra mile to make sure you can navigate the Rio Dulce. Please keep in mind to ask Julio questions about how to get there and how collectivo lanchas work or you may find yourself hiring a private boat for much more expensive. If I know how beautiful this place would be I would have spent 2 weeks here!

Casa Velaré was a good place. Guillermo respond fast and always gave us options. The house was clean and the amenities were good.

The place is very nice, everything is very clean, the host and his wife are very friendly, we were delighted with the service they provided us, they were always attentive to any need we had, very friendly, very helpful. The only detail is the location, it is very far from the town, the road is unpaved, but everything is worth it because the place is very quiet, you have to go prepared with food or Joel and his wife help you with cooking. Everything was worth it, my family and I were very happy, very satisfied with everything. The house is amazing, the beach is practically private. It is highly recommended.

My family had a wonderful time. The property is tucked away but easy to find. It is a jem once you get there and live the experience. The area is very tranquil. The landscaping on the property is wonderful with many well-placed local plants. I would stay here again. Host Laura was very attentive and responsive.
