Let me say that our expectations were exceeded. Vacationing with staff is a game changer. Not only is the house and the view incredible, but thanks to the attention of the family staff it was a truly relaxing stayed. They drove us around in their boat, cooked breakfast and dinners, went shopping for us… They were super kind. Every day, the pool and the rooms, the terrace in the living room was cleaned to perfection. The kitchen was stacked and coffee was ready in the morning . They were just amazing. The place is amazing. I would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the cottage! The beautiful views and the soothing sounds of nature made for an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Maximo and Annette were outstanding hosts – welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. We also want to give a special shoutout to German and Lucky, who took great care of us during our stay. Their help and kindness made our experience even better, and we really appreciate them. This was a 10/10 stay, and we can’t wait to come back!

The place is very cozy, there is a lot of nature and it makes the stay very relaxing, without noise and the view of the lake is very nice, it is very safe, the hosts were attentive to answer our questions. The place is the same as the photos.

Absolutely perfect place to stay. You will not miss the touch of Guatemala that you need to be able to enjoy even though it is completely private. Livingston is a Q20 boat ride away to be able to access everything you need. Perfectly located property at the mouth of the canyon of Rio dulce. I’ve never been to a more beautiful place in my life. The people In charge of the property were honest and very helpful. No pushing around or trying to dig money out of us. 100% recommend to anybody that is looking to have the time of their life.

So when I first got there I was a bit worried, but it turns out I left with the smile. This kind of resort is really unique and nice. The common space is relaxing in the jungle, very cool place. The breakfast was surprisingly good. There are a few things to note... Nothing is included, but honestly it was worth it. This is not for everybody: it is the jungle. Be ready for it... I personnally love animals, insects, fish, etc., there are plenty of those, not a lot of mosquitoes, on the other hand. One other thing is.. This is on the river Tatin, an affluent, not on Rio Dulce. Thats pretty much it... I loved my experience. Cheers!

Nice place, very spacious, clean, with a spectacular lake view. In the kitchen, everything you need, well equipped. An inconvenience, in two rooms they do not cool the air conditioners and it would be good to place in the non-slip strip. I recommend the place, we would come back again.

lovely stay at lilian's. the place is heavenly, palm trees, tropical flowers, the sound of waves... The house is comfortable, super clean. Excellent welcome (small bouquet of flowers on the table). The people who manage the tourists are very attentive and take care of the place. You can even order typical dishes... a delight... i highly recommend it a great experience

This stay at Javier's was the most memorable of my 3-month trip to Guatemala. Everything is as described, the beauty of the place, accessible only by boat, the peaceful life of the inhabitants of this Quee Chi village, the river and its natural pool, the birds... And Javier, his kindness and attention, his good food and walks to discover the region... I feel "lucky" and I hope to make you want to come and disconnect in this unique environment too!

Really lovely spacious place! Kitchen is really well stocked. The family next door were really helpful whenever we needed anything. We went for a few lovely swims in the river just off the dock. Just to be aware that you can only get there by boat and will need to pay for a boat there and out if you wanted to go anywhere during the day, but this can be organised for you easily.

Wow. Tiny fishing village. Super friendly people. Basically no road access. Beautiful beach within walking distance. Its rustic but comfortable and ultra relaxing. I almost didn't review because it should be a secret :-)

It’s a niece place beautiful for stay

julio and his family are amazing helpfull people who will go the extra mile to make sure you can navigate the Rio Dulce. Please keep in mind to ask Julio questions about how to get there and how collectivo lanchas work or you may find yourself hiring a private boat for much more expensive. If I know how beautiful this place would be I would have spent 2 weeks here!
