Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Rio Dulce

This stay at Javier's was the most memorable of my 3-month trip to Guatemala. Everything is as described, the beauty of the place, accessible only by boat, the peaceful life of the inhabitants of this Quee Chi village, the river and its natural pool, the birds... And Javier, his kindness and attention, his good food and walks to discover the region... I feel "lucky" and I hope to make you want to come and disconnect in this unique environment too!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the cottage! The beautiful views and the soothing sounds of nature made for an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Maximo and Annette were outstanding hosts – welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. We also want to give a special shoutout to German and Lucky, who took great care of us during our stay. Their help and kindness made our experience even better, and we really appreciate them. This was a 10/10 stay, and we can’t wait to come back!

An excellent option to relax and enjoy both the fresh river and Lake Izabal. I would definitely come back.

A little bit of paradise. Rustic but well with it.

We loved the backyard with the gazebo, the hammocks and the flowers.

This property is gorgeous! Definitely would stay here again but for more than 2 days. Ana is the caretaker and she’s a wonderful person, she helped us settle in and cooked for us as well. My family and I loved it here!

The house was absolutely wonderful, the atmosphere and the views were breathtaking. A place you definitely expect to return to for the space, service and accessibility.

Unusual accommodation, on the water. Kevin is very available and friendly, he drove us to land when we wanted. A peaceful place, a paradise. Jy would gladly come back. Not to mention Lucia's kindness and availability. I recommend 100%.
