Cycle paths run along the Loire river - bikes can be rented in nearby Chaumont, or you can take a lazy boat trip down the river or hire canoes. Wine tasting of local Touraine wine is close by, as is Beauval Zoo.

Great location to visit the castles of the Loire Valley! Welcoming and pleasant house. Anaïs welcomed us very warmly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Lino and his wife in Rilly-sur-Loire. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with kindness that immediately made us feel at ease. Their place is a real gem, both cozy and spacious. Everything was perfectly clean and well-equipped, which made our stay very enjoyable. The setting is peaceful, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the area. Lino and his wife were thoughtful hosts, always ready to give us tips on places to visit and local tips. We had a lovely four days in Veuzain. The very well arranged cottage is furnished and tastefully decorated. Everything was sparkling clean. The bedding is very good. The cottage is located not far from the city center. Veuzain is a great base for hiking on the banks of the Loire facing the charming little town of Chaumont and its magnificent castle. We really enjoyed the petanque court which helped us spend great evenings in the garden at the back of the cottage.
