The house was lovely. It was even nicer than in the pictures. Mara (Sintijas Mum) made us feel very welcome and helped us with everything we needed. The house was clean and tidy and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was only a short walk through the forest to the beach and a few minutes walk to beach bars and restaurants. We took the train to the centre of Riga which was really convenient. As said in the previous comments, you only need a car to go to a bigger supermarket. We really enjoyed staying at this place!

Excellent place to stay with children, it has both to play with them inside a private enclosure belonging to the house and to take any of the many routes in the area. A very nice and quiet place and Anna in everything she could helped us, an excellent host. I would come back without hesitation.

A bedroom features two spacious beds covered with a patterned quilt. Natural light enters through a window adorned with light curtains. A shelf and a wardrobe are visible along the wall, offering practical storage solutions.

What would you understand who you are and do not think about the age that is listed in your profile. Vyacheslav - pulls up 26 times, does sports, writes books and travels the world (he was everywhere). This is a wonderful conversationalist and a welcoming host. There are 40 buses and 271 minibuses to get to the old town without any problems and stops. The stop is 2-3 minutes away from the house. Personally, Vyacheslav helped me out, I checked into a hostel in the city center, but the hostel did not suit me and I wrote to Vyacheslav and slept calmly the next night and took a shower without problems and queues. Easy way to all!

We had a lovely stay at Anna's place. The studio is indeed quite small but is very well equipped (even a washing machine is there) and self-sufficient. We managed to make it work for a family of five (incl. three little kids). The location is just wonderful - there are forests and very few houses around. The walk to the beach is very enjoyable, also through the forest and half of it is a boardwalk (be aware of mosquitoes!). The building contained several other apartments that are rented out in the same way. There is a nice fenced area at the back of the house for the kids to play or for you to relax in a hammack or have a bbq. Whether this area is visible out of your window or not, depends on which side of the house your apartment is at. Anna is very friendly and proactive. She gave us many helpful tips about the surroundings and was always available if we needed her.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is great with convenient parking right outside, which made things super easy. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Riga is a beautiful city, and this apartment made my visit even better. Highly recommended!

We spent 16 great, quiet, relaxing days in the beautiful house with the fantastic garden and enjoyed every day. We used the pool every day. We were able to walk to the most beautiful beach we visited in Latvia in less than half an hour from the house, and all you had to do was take a nice walk through an enchanting forest. Riga was also reachable in just under half an hour by car - or a little more by train - which we did many times. The house, kitchen and bathrooms were equipped with all amenities, plus very well maintained and totally quiet. We didn't even use the sauna(s) in the summer. A great vacation with a friendly and accommodating hostess. Thanks!

We stayed at Kristine's great place for four nights and had very nice and relaxed days here. The apartment in Vecaki is a great starting point to explore the area around Riga but also the Baltic Sea. A supermarket as well as a few small restaurants and cafes can be found nearby. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this place is right. Kristīne is a very likeable host, can give very good tips for the region and makes an excellent breakfast. Thank you for the hospitality and the nice holiday.

Modern cottage in forest near Riga

We truly enjoyed our stay at Liubov’ s house. House was warm and cozy for these cold winter days. It was a perfect space for a family of 4 and probably would have been easy to accommodate another couple. Surroundings were spectacular, lake was 2min away and it was frozen so the local kids were skating or simply sliding on the ice. Winter wonderland outside and coziness inside. We look forward to coming back hopefully in the summer. Thank you for everything.

Love is a wonderful host, she made sure my daughter and I felt welcome and loved. The house is very beautiful and has everything for a comfortable stay. In the evening, we drowned the fireplace and sat comfortably in the living room by the fire. The village where the house is located is very quiet, on the side of a beautiful lake. It takes minutes to drive to the store and to LIDO. We really enjoyed our vacation at Love's house. I recommend this wonderful house and a wonderful host to all car travelers!

Anna is a great host, always responsive, nice and friendly, she even had some good recommendation. The place itself is nice, modern, clean in a peaceful location and with all the amenities listed. Being in a bit of a remote location, it has it's drawbacks. First shocker was, that we couldn't flush anything other than waste, not even toilet paper. Water itself has very poor pressure and a certain aroma, because it's supplied from deep underground, but is safe to drink. This is due to the area being in national Park, so that's something you should keep in mind. Also quite a lot of mosquitoes, so pack some bug spray. (though I'm sure Anna would get you one if you asked) In conclusion, if you don't mind that, this place is wonderful and Anna is truly a superhost

Very cozy cabin. Has everything you need for your stay. Our own section of the yard, which is very important for us, as we like barbecue. Quiet neighborhood, there was a nice grocery store nearby. The central street of Jurmala is a 15-minute walk, and the sea is a 20-minute walk away.

Really nice hosts, awesome sauna that warms up quickly and a great hot tub too. We came over for a BBQ, there were 6 of us and you could comfortably sleep 8 with the four bedrooms upstairs. We stayed up late and therein woke up late, they let us stay an extra two hours while we got our composure - thanks so much!

A lovely , clean self catering apartment close to the station and beach. The owner was very welcoming and gave us some great tips about places to eat nearby . We had a super stay !

We had a great winter break here. The host is very friendly and responsive, accommodation is beautiful, cosy, clean and in a great location with walkable distance to the beach, Dzintari park, Jomas street, shops and restaurants/cafes. Secure quiet complex of apartments with dedicated parking. We stayed as a family with two young kids and it was perfect for us. Would stay here again.

Great cabin, location in the best location. Quiet and pleasant. The house has everything you need for cooking, baking and grilling. Television for every taste, many children's channels. Hosts left us an anniversary gift. ❤️ Perfect location for walking. Restaurants and cinema nearby. Overall a great experience. However, there's no good grocery shops nearby. The loft's stairs are very steep and the loft's ceiling is around 1,4m high. Maybe that's just us but we expected to have a higher ceiling. Don't forget slippers!

Kristine is an extremely nice person. She's really taking care of her guests. Her staff is responsive and hard working.
