We stayed here for a wedding at The Burr Mansion, which was extremely close to the house! The house was clean and updated. A few spots to walk to including a local bar. Just a walk to the beach. Bedrooms are all spacious and were very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, cozy, peaceful, and comfortable. Everything you could ever hope for in a place to stay outside of the city! We really enjoyed waking up to gorgeous views out of the huge windows, spending our days enjoying nearby hiking trails and exploring quaint towns, and wound down every night with a few games of pool and relaxing in the outdoor jacuzzi. Absolutely loved our stay and hope to come back again!

The house itself is something out of a ski resort with magnificent rock features indoors and out very spacious The grounds are perfect for animals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cottage! I hiked all of the listed trails on the site and found the waterfall! It was glorious!! The trails were very well marked and were just as described. The house was immaculate. We loved the gas fireplace, but had some trouble with the wood-burning one. Although the flue was open, it still got pretty smoky in the house. It was fine though, we opened a couple of windows. The bedding was great and blankets were warm. The pull out couch was more comfortable than most pullout couches. The other two beds were extremely comfortable! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I look forward to coming again and staying at Cascada Farms!

We had an excellent second stay at Rob’s cabin. It was just as we remembered - better even. Spotless and fresh on arrival, easy to get comfortable and settle in for a relaxing getaway. Private cottage, perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. Cameron was a very thoughtful and responsive host. Instructions were clear and covered everything, even suggestions for before arrival (nearest grocery store etc). We really liked the character of the home and interior decor. We made good use of the kitchen, as well as the fireplace which really is perfect on cold nights. (The fireplace logs had even been set up in advance of our arrival, with ample instructions, another much appreciated gesture. Fwiw I too was curious about the story of Martha and Howard.) Both downstairs couch and the upstairs loft bed were very comfortable. The overall quiet of the surrounding area made for some very restful sleep.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 3 months and enjoyed our time very much. We were very happy from every perspective: The cottage had all the equipment we needed and wished for. We sometimes used the fireplace and loved the bed/couch. The cottage is perfect to rest and focus. We enjoyed to have so much nature around us. We took a walk in the close park with a lake almost every day. We liked to live at a small farm with dogs, chicken and goose. Debbie and Kirk were always there when we needed them and also made us internationals feel welcome. They explained and helped us proactively e.g. changed regional weather circumstances. We also regularly got eggs from the chicken what was always a nice surprise. Communication/ interactions were always easy and friendly. I recommended my work to plan future stays for assignments in this Airbnb. In our opinion it is better than a hotel: Very comfortable, cozy, close to nature and a special American experience. Thanks a lot Debbie and Kirk

The location is only about 7 minutes from downtown Cold Spring and 15-20 minutes from Beacon. The location was ideal for wanting a mix of peace and quiet with accessibility to local attractions.

There were 5 of us, with another 6 staying in another nearby air bnb. We had Thanksgiving in our house and found everything we needed to cook. Seating was a bit challenging, but we made it work and it was very comfortable. The location is in the woods with lots of boulders and rocks, which we all loved. We found the place easily using GPS. Everyone’s bed was comfy. Close enough to what we wanted, just far enough away to make it an adventure. Because it was so cold and grey, we didn’t hike, but saw plenty of opportunities (maybe next time?!)

Graciela’s home in Shelton was a beautiful and private home with a unique and wonderful style. The house has no other homes to be seen and the yard with the large pond was very relaxing. Graciela offered us early check in but, unfortunately, we weren’t able to get there early. The beds were comfortable and the layout of the home allowed for privacy. We made the most delicious steaks on the indoor charcoal grill. That was a treat! Appliances and cookware were of good quality and that made for easy cooking. We are so happy we found this place that was close to Center Stage where we saw an amazing play (The Last 5 Years). My family drove from Maryland to see their good friends star in this.

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Logement très agréable . Il faut compter une grosse demi heure en bus pour arriver à Port Authority terminal . Très propre, instructions claires pour l’arrivée même tardive. Plusieurs bus vous emmènent à Manhattan à 7 minutes à pied. Cecia explique bien comment les prendre. Petit plus : un terrain de basket juste à côté pour que les enfants se défoulent le soir en rentrant s’ils leur reste de l’énergie !

Our second time at Hopewell Junction did not disappoint. We love this home because Anuja really understands what a guest needs and would like - so many extra touches, like beautiful linens, nice soaps and shampoos, wood for fire, lots of cookware and serving pieces, and beautiful art. Beds are comfy and towels are top notch. It snowed while we were there, beautiful, and the drive was promptly plowed. Our friends speak Danish, and they kept using the word hygge for the house. (Cosy and welcoming) We agree and will definitely be back. Thank you Anuja for another lovely stay!
