Family-friendly vacation rentals in Richmond

Thanks for a very comfortable stay @ your Airbnb. Would recommend it to anyone who visits Houston.The place is ideally located, within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Having a Garage and laundry facility was super helpful . Trent is very responsive. We had a plumbing issue. Trent fixed it at the earliest. Thank you Trent for an enjoyable experience.

This place was great! Parking took a little bit to figure out but the apartment was great. Very clean, comfy beds, and really close to med center. Will use again in future

I can’t say enough about our stay and the hosts! They made a very special trip extraordinary!! The home is beautiful, safe, and a Shangri-La to me!! Placement of rooms are wonderful and afforded privacy with other guests. The saltwater pool was wonderful and with shade from trees made it very comfortable on hot, summer days! Communications with hosts felt personal and was much appreciated. This was my first VRBO / Airbnb experience and what a wonderful one it was!! Had to leave a day early due to the hurricane, yet again, the host expressed genuine concern for us. Very clean and comfortable! It was hard to leave!

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure I had a great visit. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet quiet and peaceful for a good night’s sleep. I couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home. I’ll definitely be booking here again the next time I’m in the area!

When we needed a place to stay and work from home for 3 weeks while our floors were refinished and house shown/inspected, we were nervous about that long of a stay but Ella’s home was perfect - clean, comfortable, well appointed and well located. Close to everything, we enjoyed walking the cute Sunset Heights neighborhood. Ella is a wonderful and responsive host and we would definitely recommend her place!!

I have stayed at several AirBnbs as I travel to Houston every 3 months. This one is my new favorite! I stayed here for 4 weeks and it was perfect! I wouldn't have changed a thing. The decor was lovely, good quality furniture, comfy bed with good quality bedding, good shower pressure with a nice soaker tub. The pool area is beautiful and was a nice place to relax. I'm from Michigan so being able to swim in October was wonderful lol. I love my home in Michigan, but I must admit I'm kinda going to miss this lovely apartment. This was one of the pricier places I've stayed at but it was worth it...I loved it!

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. We were grateful that Teddy allowed us to check in early. We were tired and starving after a long, day of travel. Our stay at Homeaway was pleasant. Checking in was easy. The beds were comfy. The kithchen had what we needed to prepare meals. It is really convenient to have large capacity washer and dryer, just like at home. I am glad that we were able to park in the garage. Leaving your car, baking in the sun, can be trying during heat waves with the temperature in the hundreds. The pool, within walking distance, is a delightful amenity. The neighborhood is quiet with kempt lawns and flower beds. The neighbors seem friendly. It is 35 minute drive to downtown and the museum district. It is close to several grocery shops and restaurants. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Kendra's home was truly amazing. It's situated in a fantastic location, just a stone's throw away from a variety of restaurants and venues. The home was exactly as described in the listing, which was a great reassurance. Kendra, the host, is amazing. She provided a list of local spots to visit, tailored to our preferences. A+. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

After a few messages back and forth, things were right on track. We had a great time in the home. The house was great to receive guests and visit before our daily adventures. Definitely a great location with plenty to do close by.

Lots of space! The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Location was close to everything. Lystra was very thorough on the check in. She responded to my questions right away.

It was our first time, and the experience was very nice. I really didn't know how it was going to be because it was our first time doing this, but my family and I loved the place, the super relaxing pool, especially the view towards Galveston Bay, very beautiful and what I liked the most, that you can fish all day. And also the apartment is super comfortable, it's big enough for the family, my children and I loved everything, they had fun in the pool, and fishing all day and they loved everything. Nice place to stay around the area, it’s peaceful and protected by a nearby police station. Kemah board walk is really close, recommend staying here for activity.

Enjoyed a great stay at Phi's AirBb. Clean, peaceful and in a great location. The place had all the amenities I look for ....had to extend my booking a day and Phi made it easy. 5 Star host, 5 Star place...definitely recommend!!

Had a wonderful stay at the Phoenician. Alan was so helpful and accommodating. He responded immediately to any requests or questions I had and could not have been kinder. The apartment is in a very busy area called the Galleria-around the corner from all the best shops and restaurant with easy access to major thoroughfares. The apartment is small, clean and quiet. The apartment is located in a great area with food and restaurants. The neighborhood is full of nice trees over the streets. Good parking, great gym and pool area. The kitchen is well equipped to cook. The lobby has coffee and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
