Rustic, Romantic Flat in the Historic Center

Soak up the vintage feel of a remodeled home in one of Porto's most charming areas in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Set in a 19th-century building, cool stone walls, pretty patterned floors, and white walls create a relaxed aesthetic. Cleanness, coziness and functionality are the decoration’s key aspects. Despite its elegance and modern style, the apartment was conceived to bring you comfort after a great day of sightseeing. It sleeps up to 4 people comfortably, as it has a double bedroom and a comfy sofa-bed in the living room - bed linens and towels are provided. The apartment has a fully-equipped kitchenette in case you want to cook your own meals (fridge, cooker, microwave/oven, dishwasher machine, kitchenware). An electric fan for summer and a heating system for winter is provided in order to give you more comfort. I'll be here to welcome you, show you around and give you a few tips on my favorite places in town! During your stay and every time you need help, I'll be a phone call or a text message away :) The flat sits in a quiet patio in the Ribeira area, near trendy restaurants and very close to the lovely Rua das Flores. The neighborhood's restaurants and bars are great for a nice meal or just for chilled sunset drinks with friends. From the apartment it is very easy to access the main Public Transportation: ⁃ A bus station is located just 100 meters away; ⁃ São Bento’s Station (metro and train) is just 500 meters away; ⁃ Taxi square is located just 150 meters away; GETTING HERE • By metro: The cheapest way to arrive to the apartment; Take the violet line and change to the yellow line at “Trindade”. When at “São Bento” Metro Station, look for a large street going down to the river (Rua Mouzinho da Silveira). Go through that street and after 500 meters you’ll see a small patio on your left side - you have arrived here! It should take you about 45 min from the airport to the apartment. • By train: If you’re coming by train, probably your station will be “Porto Campanhã”; When in “Porto Campanhã”, please look for the train going to “São Bento” Station (use the same ticket); After you leave the “São Bento” Train Station, just look for a large street going down to the river (Rua Mouzinho da Silveira). Go through that street and after 450 meters you’ll see a small patio on your left side - you have arrived here! • By car If you’re arriving by car, there is a car park 50 meters from the apartment - at Praça Infante Dom Henrique; Please note that fees apply to park at the street - you can find the coin machines at the streets or use the TelPark app (iOs and Android). In case you need a baby cot, I have one! Please let me know in advance so that I can have it set up when you arrive.

There is lift from the first floor. It is a large apartment with 58m2 and two large windows in the living room forward where there is sun all afternoon. It is equipped with everything you could wish for. The bedroom has a large double bed with 1.60m x 2.00m, and has a closet to store your things. The bathroom is complete with towels and a hairdryer. In the living room you have a table if you dine so you can dine or work if that is the case. There is a kitchen equipped with all appliances and utensils to use. The sofa makes a double bed by 1.35m x 1.90m. Where you can also relax watching TV. Guests have private access to the entire apartment. There is free and unlimited internet connection. Ideal location, close to the wineries and waterfront, but not in the center of Porto (across the river) so quieter than it would have been. Still close to everything and close to 2 metro stops. No elevator but that was clear in description. Nice view.

Our stay was wonderful. Teresa was so helpful in our planning of what to do in the short amount of time we had in Porto. The house was spotless, the bed very comfortable. Nice apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Away from the crowd and noise but still walkable to the nearby attractions. Nia & Inês were friendly and communicative. If you are driving, please look for a long term paid parking before arriving at the apartment to save on time on researching a safe place to park.

Nice spot for a stay in Porto. Outside of the main touristic paths, so it is usually fairly calm (unless there's some major event happening). Still within walking distance from pretty much everything. Can definitely recommend, as long as you don't mind the wind "ASMR" and taking stairs ;-). The owner is very proactive, ready with local recommendations for sites to see, restaurants, etc. Though the checkin is automated, got to meet him during the stay and it was all cool as well.

We were only able to stay two nights at Maria's place, but it was wonderful. We appreciated the clear instructions on how to access the apartment and the instructions and information in the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the listed amenities. We appreciated the location which was great for exploring the Porto area. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Carlos's apartment. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by Carlos and his parents we felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Would love to stay again and recommend to friends travelling to Porto in the future.

We loved staying at Marta's place. She was always there when you needed something or had a question and was always friendly. The room and kitchen are actually really hard to order as described, but the pictures look a little different than in reality. You can also make a little cornflakes or bread for breakfast in the kitchen, but in downtown Porto you can of course have a little better brunch. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable and can't criticize anything about the apartment. Three successful days for us.

We had an amazing stay at Ricardo’s apartment during our surf trip to Espinho. The place was perfect for the four of us – modern, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, from a great coffee machine and full kitchen utensils to quality toiletries. It really felt like a home away from home. The location was also ideal – just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and surrounded by fantastic local restaurants. Whether we were heading out for a surf session or grabbing a bite after a long day, everything was conveniently close. Ricardo was a fantastic host – friendly, welcoming, and always responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Espinho, especially for a surf trip. We’ll definitely be back if in the area!

We had a great stay! The apartment was clean, spacious, and conveniently located near the metro, which made getting around very easy. We found public parking nearby by the metro station, which was super helpful. The space was comfortable for four people, especially considering the price. Would definitely recommend!
