Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Remsenburg-Speonk

A very nice and spacious house, quietly located in the countryside. In 5 minutes on foot you are at the water. The neighborhood is very quiet and in the morning you can hear many birds. Communication in advance was great. Even a toaster's wish was granted. The rooms are nice and the beds very cozy. There were three of us and we had good space. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. There was even water available upon arrival. In the living room there is a large TV with Netflix.

We had an amazing stay at Michael’s Airbnb this past weekend! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Michael was a fantastic host: super responsive, thoughtful, and made us feel completely at home. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the setting was even more beautiful in person. We really enjoyed meeting Steve and getting his recommendations for things to do. Everything is very well thought out and planned for your comfort. Steve is easy to work with and very responsive. The view and interior design make it a soothing and relaxing environment. We enjoyed the proximity to The Hamptons and made it all the way to the Montauk lighthouse taking the old highway as he suggested. Gorgeous! We had really good takeout from JCs when we wanted to eat in and just enjoy the peacefulness of it all. One of our favorite trips!

My husband, our dogs, and I just returned home after spending a month at Sarah's house on Long Island. we truly didn't want to leave, it was so relaxing! The lousy May weather notwithstanding, the property was absolutely perfect for us. Everything was as described and we felt right at home. Sarah was super proactive/responsive. While we were only able to use the pool a couple of times (weather), it was great and the spa was awesome, especially in the evening under the pretty lights in the backyard! There were great spaces to work (hubby didn't have the full month off like I did) and to just chill. The house is located near many conveniences (I'm looking at you, Walmart) to pick up necessities and while we didn't cook for ourselves quite a bit, we were thrilled that unlike at home, the food delivery services were fast, reliable, and everything arrived at the perfect temperature! we can't say enough good things about our stay and will definitely be returning!

Spent to my birthday here with my husband, dogs and toddler. Had my gender reveal birthday cake, outback under the sunset. Truly magical.✨ The backyard was ideal. Was able to tie the dogs to the deck with a 20 foot leash. It kept them contained to the backyard & away from beach goers on foot and other dogs. The dunes kept the backyard private you’re not staring at your neighbors. Felt so secluded. I also have some mobility issues and you couldn’t ask for an easier way to enjoy the beach & get your toes in the sand. The house & deck are spacious and easy to navigate with a walker. Was able to add extra days to our stay. Would 100% stay here again.

Clean, spacious, private basement apartment with some natural light. Very comfortable bed. Lovely backyard. Quiet, green residential neighborhood. Within 10 minute driving distance from Port Jefferson town center.

I really enjoyed myself on this brief stay and would gladly stay again the next time I’m on Long Island. Everything was positive, from my communication with Edward, to their flexibility when I overslept, to the comfort of the bed. Highly recommended if you’re on Long Island and don’t feel like staying at a hotel.

this was my 4th time staying at this air b and b and as usual I dodnt want to leave!!. Sarah and Phil where amazing. I love going to this air b and b becouse its so peaceful and calm and its like be at home. We very much enjoyed our stay in your lovely air bnb, it was perfect for our needs enabling us to be near family and friends yet have the quiet down time that was much needed. Being back in the old neighborhood was a super plus too, still a lovely area with local stores and restaurants and so many places to see and explore around town. This place had everything you could ask for in a home away from home.

The residence was exactly what I wanted. It was in a neighborhood that I grew up in. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were more than I expected. Tara was very friendly and reasonable. Her expectations we reasonable and Tara was so kind. i hope to do it again.

Over $500 a night was very high, much higher than west Coast pricing for two bedrooms near a major university. Convenient to Yale but know that poverty has always been evident a few feet from Yale borders and much of the foot traffic consists of the homeless. Also some noise at night from passing traffic. On the plus side there’s an excellent Italian bakery/gelato cafe across the street run by a husband wife team that makes everything they serve.

Lauren was great and her home was exactly as promised! Great stay and will stay again!

If we don't give a good review, can we keep this to ourselves?! Patti was a perfect host; the views were fantastic, whether from the outdoor porch or inside through the French doors looking out on the water. Access to the small beach and pool were excellent and we were close to several good restaurants (many of which Patti suggested, including some on the water) for take-out during the pandemic. Wifi was great and everything was very clean and as advertised. We generally fly for vacations and long weekends but had to stay closer to home this year and this was a perfect choice.

Jeff's place has a lot of character and is spacious. The setting is excellent, near the water, with Satterly Landing right down the road. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at Julie’s place. Would love to visit again…perhaps in the Fall. Loved the balcony overlooking the Sound. Julie was very responsive to my questions. She got back to me immediately. I would highly recommend Julie’s home!

We had a great time at Adam’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and comfortable — perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s just a quick 5-minute drive to Sag Harbor, which made it super convenient.
