Vacation home rentals in Region Zealand

Mette’s home is a little slice of paradise. Gorgeous setting and garden, surrounded by lush fields and very few neighbors. Within easy driving distance of Stege and Borre, and about a 30 minute walk to the sea. My only concern was walking through the tall grasses, as there are many deer ticks. Long pants, socks, shoes (not sandals) and long-sleeved tops are recommended. Additionally, while there are 2 bathrooms, one is in a separate building, just two steps from the main house, with shower, toilet, sink and washing machine. The indoor bath has shower, sink and toilet. Mette’s description of her home mentions most of this, but having just spent a week there, these are important points to consider. In closing, I can confirm that I slept better there than in my own bed!

Everything worked out fine and we had a very nice stay. The apartment was optimal for our visit to relatives. With two separate bedrooms including an additional 1.40 m bed, three adults and two kids easily fit in. The cottage is fully equipped and upscale and in a very well maintained condition. It is located in a well-kept holiday home settlement near the fjord. We will be happy to return on occasion!

After our visit in 2022 another wonderful stay in Anne Mettes cosy house in Lohals. I have been travelling to Lohals for more than 40 years and it's still a fantastic place to relax. Anne Mettes house is located close to the northern beach and a large wood area. Just a few minutes walk to Lohals harbour, there're bicycles at the house so one can get to the wonderful Hedos bakery in Tom Knudsens vej or to the Brugsen supermarket quickly. We and the kids love it and would love to come back again and again! ;-)

Great Communication and great house

We had some nice, quiet days here. It's perfect for coming down. You could walk to the beach in 2 minutes, which was very nice. The house is first class equipped, we lacked nothing at all! In addition, everything is super cute in the Scandinavian style, which we loved. It was perfectly suitable for recreation, but if you are more on action, you should rather look for something else. The small towns on the island are really very small and don't give much. Nevertheless, super beautiful nature, also for extensive walks.

A really nice, small authentic house with lots of cozy charm. The house fully meets expectations in relation to the pictures. The hosts were very accommodating, gave good directions and were generous in relation to arrival/departure and basic things in the house. However, you should be aware that there is very limited mobile coverage. However, we were really fine with a few days offline. We'd love to come again.

Tine is an extremely communicative and friendly host. We felt very comfortable in their summer house. It was very clean, cozy and comfortably furnished. Depending on the time of day and weather, you can sit very comfortably inside or almost around the house and have a nice time. Even despite high season, the very quiet beach can be reached in just under a minute on foot and allows a good view of the cliffs and the small fishing village. We didn't miss anything and we'd love to come back!

My husband, our 2 dogs, and I stayed for 2 nights at Svetlana's very nice apartment. We were so happy to find the perfect place for our dogs and close to the city center of Copenhagen. The cozy apartment has everything we needed. Tip for guests with dogs: Amazing dog park (5-10 min. by car) near by called "Hundepark Brøndbyskoven."

Just fabulous! The house and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We visited as a family from the UK with young(ish) children and the house worked really, really well. Clean, well thought out and stylish. Pia was also a super-host. Meeting us on arrival (which was late in the evening) and making sure we were settled. Very highly recommended.

What a lovely welcoming home. Amazing location, well equipped, beautiful space, relaxed with the sea right at the end of the garden. We'll be back!

We had a great stay at the house, created for families with children! Our kids loved the garden's playground and the house's children's room which had lots of toys for free use. The house felt very homey and cozy and Sila was really good at answering questions and providing help. We had the opportunity to borrow the house's cargo bike, which made it easy to get around with children in the Danish summer country. Rørvig Havn, Nykøbing Sj. And summerland Zealand was close to the house. We had a lovely stay and could easily come back.

What a beautiful home in a lovely setting. Stine’s house was perfect for our four day stay in the Danish countryside. We enjoyed the trees and the birds and the quiet. It was super cozy and had everything we needed. Great communication, always responsive. Can’t say enough about this property and host. :)

It was great to stay at Camilla’s summer house. Nice place to go with family or friends and enjoy a calm weekend. I would repeat!

A very cozy house in a prime location right on the beach. Plenty of privacy, as the property is protected by high hedges. Very quiet, yet everything important is easily accessible nearby. Amenities in the house very good, the kids were especially happy about the Lego. A SUP was also available to us, which gave us many hours of fun. All information from host Thomas precise and fast and a nice welcome gift at reception. On the beach, the water is very shallow, hardly any waves, but an algae belt, which you can swim over easily and behind it is fine sand and it is still nice and flat. There is a wooden deck on the beach where you can sunbathe wonderfully. We also loved the direct view of the bridge to Odense. We really enjoyed the days and would come back any time.

We really enjoyed staying at Anja's summer house. The large terraces with countless seating options and the daybed, which I immediately chose as my favorite place, are particularly great. The entire house is very lovingly designed and very well equipped. Anja provided us with a bottle of wine, coffee and sweets for the reception, which we found very generous. We'd love to come back sometime. Thanks for the wonderful time!

The place was top notch and contained everything you could want. Area and location could hardly be better. Perfect house for summer house idyll both winter and summer. Great stay, here we will definitely come again.
