Nice and clean place

Caren’s cottage was a great place to stay. It had everything that you needed. Caren was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful few days on Stradbroke Island and felt very comfortable and safe in Caren’s home.

We had a fantastic stay at 3 Donahue St, Point Lookout. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located just minutes from Home beach. Our host Tricia was responsive and helpful. The outdoor space was lovely and the ping pong table a nice touch. Overall, it was a charming and relaxing getaway, highly recommended!

Lovely peaceful spot right on the water. We loved being able to tie our boat up to the pontoon and go sailing whenever the wind picked up. Bedrooms were comfortable and the square dining table a great fit for the 8 of us. Lots of fun board games to play and puzzles to do too. All round a great place for a family holiday!

In a nutshell, absolutely perfect!! Close to everything you need. The locals were friendly. The bed & linen were amazing, I didn't want to get out of bed but the fishing was calling. Beautiful walks around the island. Fun fishing, chasing prawns & squid. Finished each night with a wine and dinner at the local bar & grill 2 doors away. A peaceful place I highly recommend. I'll be back 😀

Colin’s place was amazing. Everything we needed was there for us - great house for a big family

It was quiet and it was a good space for relaxation. And being a waterfront house, the view was great. It would have been perfect for fishing if someone wanted to fish. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Excellent house with plenty of space for lots of people. We had an extended stay there and found it very comfortable. Great location, close to the water (and a really great pie shop). Big kitchen and plenty of storage. Comfy beds and a nice yard good for the dogs. Would highly recommend. The host was very attentive and quick to respond if we ever needed anything.

We stayed here as a large family group for a family wedding. The location was perfect for us. Central to family and the wedding reception etc. The house was great for five kids. Heaps of space for all of us to spread out. Even though we had horrible weather there were enough outdoor spaces that we were able to keep out of each other’s way. The kids were still in the pool twice a day at least regardless of the rain it was just a shame that we didn’t get to use the beautiful yard.

Lovey place, very responsive hosts. We had an unforeseeable issue that they fixed within an hour. The location is walking distance from everything you need at Amity Point. Kids loved the pool and separate cabin. While it might seem expensive, we were able to cook our meals and organise a Woolies delivery which balances costs out.

Beautiful place

We had the most wonderful stay at Jocelyn’s home - it was the perfect spot for a relaxing family holiday at Straddie. The house is beautifully styled, incredibly clean and thoughtfully set up with everything you could possibly need. We especially loved how peaceful the location was, and having space for the whole family (including our dogs!) made it feel like a true home away from home. Jocelyn was a fantastic host - responsive, welcoming and made the whole process seamless from start to finish. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting to unwind, explore and enjoy all the beauty that Straddie has to offer.

We loved our 3 night stay at Frenchman’s Folly. The cottage is lovely and cosy with everything we needed. It’s clearly owner managed and was perfectly clean. Linda was so kind to leave the lights on for our late arrival, which was very helpful. Our girls loved the tree in the front yard and the spacious grassy, fenced backyard. We’ll book again.

The house was so lovely and the views were amazing. With a balcony upstairs and one downstairs we could always see the water. The rooms were a great size. The entire house felt so comfortable. If you were looking at somewhere to stay on Russell Island, this would be amazing. So relaxing! Thankyou Patsy! Regards Harry and Julie

We had a lovely stay at Melissa’s house while we coordinated our son’s beach wedding Coochiemudlo Island. The house is centrally located near all amenities and is really nice inside. There is plenty of space for the family and there’s lots resources provided to make for a relaxed holiday. Mel is easy to communicate with and is very friendly. We highly recommend this house and will definitely be using Mel’s house again.
