Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Free street parking. Please note: due to the elevation there is a steep walk up the lane and a further 33 steps. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. This is our much loved Holiday Home. Located in the town centre with all amenities on our doorstep including beaches right across the road and a safe secluded garden at the rear. We have had young guests in the past but please note the house is over 3 floors and opens on to a street so you may need to consider if it is safe for your little ones. Youghal has a selection of bars/restaurants & coffee shops to choose from and we are ideally located for touring the beautiful South East.

Cois Taoide Cottage

Cois Taoide is a comfortable one bedroom cottage with a fitted kitchen located in the heart of the picturesque seaside town of Youghal. It’s located on Windmill Hill and has breathtaking views over the Blackwater River Estuary. The cottage is a two-minute walk to the Mall beach and is a scenic 15 minute walk to the three blue flag beaches . It is also a short walk to historical landmarks such as the Clockgate Tower, the Old Town walls ,Restaurants , cafes, bars and the cinema .

The Yard is a lovingly restored outbuilding, extended with the addition of a fabricated shipping container. It offers a comfortable and private haven with double bedroom , spacious shower room, and fully equipped kitchen/dining space. We are ideally located to enjoy fabulous views and picturesque walks. The Yard is a short drive to beaches, golf courses, renowned restaurants. We are also an ideal base to explore towns of Youghal & Midleton, both being only a 15/20 minute drive.

Lighthouse keepers; Home of the year finalist

Welcome to the lighthouse keepers house! We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!

Located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Youghal town. The accommodation is a 15 minute walk from the centre of town, and a 5 minute drive from the beach. The accomodation itself is beside the main house. There is parking available, and it is a quiet, safe neighbourhood. Youghal is home to some lovely cafes and restaurants, and you will also find supermarkets close to the accommodation.
