Ski-in/out The cabin borders directly on the hiking and alpine terrain eastwards behind the cabin. A great hiking terrain towards Silkedalen. Short distance to many fishing lakes and nice swimming areas. The area is known for its great skiing conditions throughout the winter with 150 km of groomed cross-country trails, 12 lifts and 26 slopes. Shared lift card and ski bus between the lifts. The cabin is located in the first row towards slope 23, and here you can ski right out from the terrace. There are no cabins in front, so here you can enjoy the undisturbed hot tub later in the evening overlooking the Rauland mountains while the kids can ski outside the terrace. The cabin has 3 bedrooms + loft bedroom with double bed. Low ceiling height in the loft room and only curtains for the door, so this room is best suited for children.

Rauland has 140 km of groomed ski slopes, 5 min away by car. 10 min to ski resorts. 5 min by car to Rauland city center with shops and electric car chargers. Great hiking terrain summer/autumn.

For all ski enthusiasts, there are many slopes and 170 km of groomed cross-country trails in alpine terrain. In the summer there are many great marked hiking trails you can walk on foot. The tenant must be at least 25 years old. The cabin is perfect for 1 or 2 families and up to 8 people. No parties allowed. Parking for 2 cars. (Electric car charger available)

Newer cabin with great views and nice hiking opportunities

Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.
