We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, the environment and sustainability.The beautiful colors of egg oil tempera adorn the walls, and genuine linseed oil paint is a given in a house from the late 19th century.Nice tiled stoves warm up nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious In winter, there are nice conditions for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at Romme alpine. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with a connection approximately 100 meters from the farm.The house is located close to the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

Romme Alpin can be reached in 20 minutes by car. To the wooden town of Säter, it is 7 km and to Borlänge about 20 km. The apartment has an open floor plan with sleeping alcove. Welcome to our cozy cottage right by the water with sauna, fireplace and private jetty. Here you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, magical lake views and fishing right outside the door. In winter, it is possible to swim in the ice water from the jetty, if the weather allows, ski trails are run up on the lake. The surroundings consist of berry and mushroom forests with beautiful walking paths. In the summer, you can take a ride with the rowing boat or enjoy the evening sun on the terrace. The cottage is located only 15 minutes from Falun and 45 minutes from Romme Alpin.

Lillstugan in Tomtebo

Lillstugan in Tomtebo is a house from the 1600s and thus the farm's oldest building. The house was renovated about 20 years ago. On the farm, the host family lives in a rural environment with chickens, cats and rabbits. There is a travel bed for small children in the accommodation. In the village of Stora Skedvi, which is 5 km from the accommodation, there is Skedvi Bröd, where you can shop for local produce in the market hall or eat fantastic food in the restaurant. In our cozy, bright, fully-equipped little cottage, you live undisturbed and take care of yourself.
