Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Rappahannock County

Fabulously beautiful location. Picturesque. Home was lovely, comfortable and delightful to stay in. Many great places to sit, enjoyable amenities. Host was kind to allow us some flexibility to support our family's needs. So appreciated! Highly recommend!

Gorgeous area and a very clean house. As we drove up to the house, I immediately regretted not booking for a longer stay. You drive through trees and along a meandering creek to get to the house (no cell service for miles so make sure you have your directions and entry information before arriving). The property is surrounded by trees and is landscaped beautifully with native plants. I love that there was a hiking trail and access the the National Park but unfortunately, we ran out of time to enjoy this. The interior is very clean, probably the cleanest AirBnB we have ever stayed in and it's stocked with good quality appliances and just about anything you would need in the kitchen. Alissa was very quick to respond. If we ever make it back to the Sperryville area, I would 100% book this place again!

Wonderful weekend stay right on the river. Easy access to the hazel river, Shenandoah national park, as well as some short trails right on the property. Spectacular views from every window and multiple decks. It’s easy to sit and read a book while listening to the peaceful sounds. This property is beautiful with everything you need to feel right at home. It felt more like a home than a rental property. It was well decorated and somewhere you actually want to spend time vs drop your stuff and head out. We enjoyed our stay, and plan to return.

Lovely view of mountains and trees. Very peaceful and restful. We could actually understand how you can call it "whispering pines" when we heard the wind in the trees. The deck is spacious and has nice covered and uncovered seating. We enjoyed our coffee in morning and glass of wine at night there! Very comfortable home. Well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches! You can tell the hosts worked to ensure you had a comfortable stay! Bill and Stephanie (the hosts) live next door and introduced themselves early in our stay. Very friendly and helpful folks. It was nice to know they were nearby but you could not see them or any other neighbors' homes nor hear anyone at all. We were there in late April so did not need a AWD, there were a few miles of unpaved roads, but very manageable. I'd highly recommend!

Such a relaxing property, with amazing country charm!! We loved all the original home features, which were restored beautifully. We also loved the beautiful newer bathrooms and kitchen that were incredibly clean. Clearly a ton of effort and care went into renovating the place. Wonderful location next to a river, Old Rag trail, and very close to all the shopping and restaurants in downtown Sperryville. Liz was a wonderful host and made the check in and check out as easy as possible. Highly recommend this property and we hope to stay again one day soon.

Cascade Falls is a slice of heaven! The home sits on 20 acres and you feel like you own the mountain. The views are stunning. The kitchen was well stocked, sheets and towels were great quality with more than enough for our group. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. Our group loved the extras like the fire pit, foosball, ping pong table and corn hole. Anita is responsive and so friendly - she made sure we understood the roads and the need for an SUV. We will definitely stay here again.

Connie's Rock Cottage was amazing! much thought was put into this cottage. Firewood and fire starter for the wood stove on chilly nights, robes we used for getting to and from the private hot tub just steps outside the back door,map of entire 550 acres of land including the wonderful paved walkway which meanders through the property. This was the mosr exceptionally prepared kitchen we have seen in out travels. Tons of utensils, a full set of potsand pans, dish towels, trivets, cutting boards and cooking sheets! We love to cook together when we travel and this kitchen was big enough for 2! We got some amazing pictures all over the farm. The lack of light pollution allowed us to enjoy the stars and Pink Full Moon in all their glory! We will be back to enjoy this cottage again!

Absolutely fantastic view with a great pool and hot tub. This is a true mountain oasis. It was a perfect getaway for my family over spring break. My kids loved the play room. Very private and serene, great location. We will be back!

Judy is a great host. The accommodations are wonderful, and you feel right at home. The pool is very refreshing, and the backyard is so relaxing. Highly recommend staying here.

Our second stay here. Just as good as the first. We met our family most every day (15 minutes away) and got to participate in their many activities, and yet have a quiet, clean, large space to retreat to. They were so flexible that we felt like family !

Nice, clean place. Convenient location! Great if you want to fish or spend time on or near the river! Nice covered porch if it’s raining, great fire pit and chairs!

I had a great stay at Yvette’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in was smooth, and communication was quick and helpful throughout. The location was peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place with good proximity to Shenandoah! Really nice kitchen with lots of amenities as well as plenty of counter space and seating. We enjoyed the fire pit too. The host was very responsive and communicative!

I’ve stayed in over 40 airbnbs and this was one of my favorites! Incredibly cozy, well decorated, had every amenity you could possibly need, private, quiet, and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here - you’ll be more than pleasantly surprised by your stay!

The Coachman’s Quarters was an amazing place for us to stay for a relaxing weekend. Trace was a great host, making sure we had everything we needed and even leaving us personalized cookies from a local bakery (horse-shaped sugar cookies in honor of our trip to the area for horse shopping). The apartment was immaculately clean and gorgeously decorated. We spent about 5 minutes there before we looked at each other and said, “I wonder if Trace would let us move in full time!” With easy access to Middleburg and the surrounding area, we would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town.

This is a nice private place to stay. It is a finished “in-law suite”above the garage that is separate from the house, which gives a nice private feel! The host was very responsive anytime we reached out. Would recommend.

We only stayed one night at the cabin—but what a night it was! We arrived in the evening and were immediately greeted by a small herd of cows, which absolutely delighted my dairy farmer husband and our farm-loving son. After a week at the beach in a less-than-cozy house with minimal amenities, followed by a full day of walking around Monticello, this cabin felt like a warm hug. The space was incredibly comfortable—recliners everywhere (my kind of paradise!) and plenty of seating for everyone. With two full bathrooms, it made traveling with my family and brother so much easier. The peaceful, scenic view was just the cherry on top. Our kids had a great time too—it’s a wonderful spot for families. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee in the morning—a thoughtful touch from our hosts. Honestly, we kicked ourselves for only booking one night. Lesson learned… we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

I recently stayed at an incredible Airbnb that exceeded all expectations. The property boasts amazing views that left us in awe every morning, with stunning vistas stretching across the landscape. The cabin was perfect for my wife & I’s recent weekend trip to hike/explore SNP. The cabin was super cute, comfortable, and clean. We loved the wrap around windows, deck, and hot tub. The keyless entry worked well and was super convenient The cabin is very private, however there are still other cabins/houses nearby, so you don’t feel too secluded or unsafe. On Saturday afternoon the weather did not cooperate for hiking (thunderstorms), so we picked up food in Luray (~10-15 mins away) and came back to the cabin, cuddled up on the couch and watched Netflix. They had a guest Netflix account so we didn’t have the hassle of logging into our account, or if you don’t have a Netflix account you are covered. Note: some of the pictures are outdated, there are no noisy AC window units that block your views , they have been upgraded to mini-splits in the living room and bedroom mounted jut below the ceiling which made zero noise and were easy to control the temperature in both rooms via a singl

We stayed at the cabin for the weekend and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect place for peace and privacy. We really enjoyed our stay—especially the view, it was sooo beautiful!

We loved our stay at Amber's cabin! It was the perfect place to feel surrounded by nature while still enjoying the creature comforts of home. Amber responded immediately to any questions we had. There were some really strong storms in the area our first night, and a fallen tree resulted in a power outage for five hours. Amber sent us updates from the power company throughout the evening, made sure we had candles and flashlights, and even checked on us the following morning. The location was perfect for exploring Shenandoah Valley National Park. The town is easily accessible and Martin's grocery store had everything we needed to enjoy meals in the cabin. There were plenty of coffee pods provided, greatly appreciated by these coffee drinkers. one Enjoying morning coffee on the screened in porch was icing on the cake! We also utilized a coupon provided for a local ice cream shop. So good that we bought some to go for another evening treat.

Lovely, peaceful, cute, private, magical and beautiful cabin!!! It was a wonderful and serene experience staying at this place and creating beautiful memories with my family on my birthday. The place was spotless clean with all the necessary amenities for a family with little humans. Lots of board games, books, upscale kitchens appliances and plenty of towels. Very lively feeling due to natural indoor plants everywhere. It was surprising for a woodland like this, how we could sit for hours outdoors at night with no mosquitoes at all. Hot tub was a highlight of the place. If I have to mention any cons, would mention that the staircase had very narrow and squeaky steps. But overall we all loved the place. Highly recommend ❤️

This property was so beautiful and such a relaxing stay! Robert was extremely thorough and there was not a single hiccup in the process! The house was spotless and was soo beautifully decorated! It was even more perfect than the photos portray. They did a truly phenomenal job with the place. Everything was in working order and there was plenty of supplies on hand. I also greatly appreciate the level of cleanliness in this property. It stood out as well! I hope we get the chance to return here again soon!

Our stay at Stargazer was phenomenal. It was easily one of the best and cleanest Airbnbs we’ve experienced. The home is clearly loved and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked, and the grill was spotless and easy to use. We loved the host’s local recommendations, especially Maybelle’s and Yoder’s markets. Our dog was especially thrilled with the secluded location and all the wildlife. His favorite part was all our walks up the winding drive to the cabin. The perfect little afternoon stroll is right outside your door! As mentioned in the listing, definitely keep a close eye on pets that like to roam… or chase rabbits! The fog during our stay gave everything a magical, peaceful feel. And the view? Unreal. Photos don’t even come close. As noted, the drive up the mountain is steep and winding so be ready for a bit of an adventure, but the privacy and serenity at the top are more than worth it. We truly feel lucky to have found this gem. Book your stay! You won’t regret it!
