The absolute best of AirBNB - amazing cabin, gorgeous views, everything worked perfectly, clean and cozy, and a very gracious host who could not have been more responsive to every question, combined with an onsite manager who was over-the-top helpful. Perfect cabin — wish could’ve stayed longer. History buffs should take a walk past the old post office and see the church and cemetery.

I was able to use this magnificent place as a base while section hiking the AT. Beautifully designed from the inside to out, nothing was missing. Hot tub after a long hike? Yes please! Grill a steak too? Absolutely! I encourage anyone who loves beauty and wants the ability to explore this area to take full advantage of this wonderful home.

Brian was super communicative throughout the whole process. We had an amazing time. The place is absolutely stunning and the drive there was breathtaking! It was so hard to come home afterwards- we did not want to leave.

The only part of the stay that didn't get 5 stars was that it wasn't quite as secluded as I'd hoped for. There are a number of homes on the road to the cabin, and a thin line of trees breaks the view. Admittedly unless you're looking for the other houses you don't notice them, so I got past that quickly enough. That said, the cabin was perfect, clean, cozy and everything worked as stated. Having grown up in the country, but living in a city now, I felt the stress melt away as soon as I stepped into the massive yard where my son and I spent a lot of time playing soccer and other sports. My son and wife really enjoyed the hot tub. The location is 15 minutes away from Luray which meant that the stars were amazing for the brief break in the clouds we got, but that it was close enough to get groceries and take out as needed. Plus it's about 20 minutes away from Front Royal so there are places to go and enjoy like Skyline or Luray Caverns. Jackie was a great and responsive host!

we had a great experience. it's very tranquil and a very nice get away. I needed it and had a quiet night enjoying the hot tub, playing board games and just relaxing away from the real world.

I would give it a 4.5 stars out of 5, but went with 5. We now will forever have an amazing memory that this stay provided for us. The hot tub was amazing, the views were amazing, the house was clean and the charcoal grill was nice. I wouldn’t recommend however coming with a small car due to the gravel road leading up, i’m sure it’s nice when it’s not raining but after rain can make it a little rough which is okay if you take it very slow! we brought an SUV so it was fine! Was well worth the haul. It is in the woods/mountains so expect bugs to get in, it’s normal. Some wasps were managing to get in, did my duty of killing them but not sure where they were coming from. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay though!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our two girls were happy to run around the yard and play in the little playground. The house was clean, neat, and homey. The view is spectacular. The hot tub was plus. Jan even put a sign that said happy birthday for my husband. So thoughtful! thank you, Jan! Sylvia

This cabin was wonderful! So cozy, nice touches, clean, great amenities! Definitely one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. On top of that, Sherilynn was very accommodating of our schedule and needs with a baby. We had such a nice stay.

Had a great stay with our dogs. We loved the privacy with no neighbors in sight. There were lots of bees so it was a bit hard to enjoy sitting out on the deck but otherwise was great! Nice to be able to walk into Shenandoah right from the house.

An amazing, special place to get away from everything. The lack of cell service and no WiFi were the highlight for our family. We spent a week playing board games, reading, painting, enjoying a fire every night, and just talking. The hosts thought of everything and we feel very lucky to have spent the week here. Will definitely be back!

The hosts went above and beyond throughout our stay! Postcard cabins ays attention to all the details and makes for a fun and easy stay. We loved how close it was to the national park and even enjoyed walking on the nature trail at the cabin property.

We had a fantastic stay at Levi’s place. The creek is clean and beautiful, Levi is very friendly and helpful, the cabin was very clean and neat and laid out as expected from the pictures. The front porch is a nice size. I loved hearing the stream in the evening and we all enjoyed the cows and horses in the field. It was not a problem at all but because we booked through Airbnb and had not checked out his outfitting site, I was not aware that there were also camping sites and it is possible you have will have RV’s and/or tent campers around you. We have a pop up ourselves so I don’t have a problem with that, but I wasn’t expecting it. We stayed mid week in April so only a couple camping sites were in use and weren’t next to us but I am sure it fills certain times of the year. Also, it is creek side but if there are paying fishers in the creek you need to be respectful of their space. We had a great time at the pond and appreciated the use of kayaks, paddle boat, and paddle board

Beautiful property with tons of thoughtful amenities included. So peaceful and private. It was a perfect getaway retreat!

We had a lovely family vacation at this cabin! The house was so comfortable and the board games and video games were perfect for the kids. There were lots of cozy blankets in every room which I appreciated!

Mark’s cabin is beautiful. We loved the quiet wooded setting with mountain views, the lovely stone fireplace in the main living area and the additional fireplace in the master bedroom. The location was perfect - close to both Shenandoah River State Park and Shenandoah National Park. We had a great week and highly recommend this cabin.

Truly incredible property and very responsive hosts. The cabin is truly spectacular and equipped with all the necessities of a full home. All the joys of a weekend in the woods (beautiful night sky, fire pit, grilling) without the discomfort of a tent. As comfortable as can be, safe, sparkling clean. Highly recommend for a weekend away—will be sharing this property with all our friends! Such a special experience to be among the Bison. Thank you for being so responsive!

Located in a very remote, quite and beautiful part of Shenandoah with everything you need right there. The beds are very comfortable and the hot tub an amazing relaxation experience.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Checking in and out was very easy. The nearby waterfall is such a cool addition! As others have noted, the driveway to get to the cabin is bumpy. We had to drive slowly and carefully in our small car.

The most peaceful place I have ever stayed at

WOW. What a magical and lovely place; from waving to everyone at the farm to the bison and baby goats. I, as many other reviewers, wish I would have booked this space for longer. It is a true gem and the sustainable farming they are doing is wonderful. I will be back and for longer! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous space.
