A lovingly restored 70’s beach shack perched on the edge of the iconic Deep Creek national park. The property is set up to maximise the beauty of the surrounding environment: laze in the hammock, cook a meal over the roaring coals in the fire pit, have the best sleep of your life in the cozy beds lined with French linen or bathe under the amazing night sky. Duckcottage: quaint stone cottage

Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.

Grass Tree Gully is nestled on traditional Ngarrindjeri land neighbouring Deep Creek Conservation Park on the southern most tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
