Tongariro NP (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is just over 45 mins away. Perfect for hiking in summer, or snow fun in winter. Central towns, such as Whanganui and Palmerston North are just over an hour away. Further afield are Napier (2hrs), Taupo (2 hrs), and Wellington (3hrs) making Taihape the perfect central pitstop.

Our place is close to the great Tongariro National Park. It includes Mt Ruapehu for skiing or snow boarding and tramping. Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids) or small groups.

South Street Lodge

Located directly across the road from Manfeild entrance and Kowhai Park, walking distance to the heart of Feilding, and only 15 minutes drive to Palmerston North makes this guesthouse a great choice for those looking to attend a Manfeild event, business meetings, visiting friends or family in the area or simply having a trip away.

The Crib

Comfortable, semi-rural, within 4 minutes of town. Situated on a 3 acre block, this Airbnb is completely separate and offers privacy and convenience. You will be staying in the character filled, old Kimbolton BNZ Bank (complete with teller box). This is a great Digital Nomad option - with ski fields within 2.5 hours. I live in the "Managers Quarters" which are through a door from the bank (the walls are very thick).

Tuparipari Riverbank Retreat

Tuparipari Riverbank Retreat is perched on the banks of the Whanganui River amongst native trees and in a loved bird garden adorned with garden art. This retro studio apartment is complete with an en suite, kitchenette & private entrance. Your alternative entrance is via spiral stairway leads up to your laundry and a second toilet. This is a great retreat for couples, solo adventurers, or business travellers. The wifi is very fast (Gigabyte speed) and is unlimited.
