“Be our Guest” Air BnB

Hi - I offer a warm, welcoming, sunny space with everything you need. A modern kitchen and bathroom provide a comfortable family set up with a lounge area leading to the pool. Please note that the nightly rate is for up to 4 people and includes breakfast. There are 3 bedrooms ideally suited to 5 guests however having 2 singles in one room allows for 6 if required. This can be reconfigured to a queen and a single in the largest bedroom allowing more space in the single room, if preferred.

Opened in 2022, DuxHouse BnB is conveniently located in Taihape's Motel District on SH1. We are centrally located in the beautiful Rangitikei in the Central North Island. Tongariro NP (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is just over 45 mins away. Perfect for hiking in summer, or snow fun in winter. Central towns, such as Whanganui and Palmerston North are just over an hour away. Further afield are Napier (2hrs), Taupo (2 hrs), and Wellington (3hrs) making Taihape the perfect central pitstop.

Gum Tree Haven

Our place is close to the great Tongariro National Park. It includes Mt Ruapehu for skiing or snow boarding and tramping. Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids) or small groups.

Waireka Apartment

Waireka Apartment, situated in Ohakune in the Ruapehu District is a self contained 2 bedroom apartment each with a queen size bed, a large lounge with mountain views, kitchen and own spa pool. Spa Pool operates from 10am to 10pm Cleaning on departure is included in the rate. For the benefit of fellow Guests we request quiet time after 10.30pm Special Rates Ask us about our special rates for a stay of 2 nights or more. A wonderful 2 bedroom plus study apartment with newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. Situated in the grounds of the 100 year old Central Fire Station complex. Electric gates and security lighting provide for a safe and secure off street parking experience. Netflix via the Smart TV, Nespresso coffee and even use Alexa for some background music. Full kitchen and laundry provide a comfort home away from home and 2 Queen size beds mean it can be suitable for 2 couples.

We are close to great views and family-friendly activities. 2 minutes walk to Old Coach Rd - Ohakune cycle track/walkway. Other cycle tracks nearby include Fisher Track, Bridge to Nowhere, Tramway Track and 42nd Traverse Mountain bike track. Bike hire available at Ohakune & National Park We are halfway between Whakapapa and Turoa skifields. 10minutes to Ohakune and 15 minutesNational Park Village. Visit Owhango ( 25 minutes ) for fishing, hunting and bush walks.

Runnymede Farmstay

The unit is a private guesthouse situated on a working farm, which is fully self contained and 5 minutes drive from Marton town. Continental breakfast supplies provided. Private off street parking and own driveway. Includes heating/cooling, own kitchen and bathroom and queen size bed with linen. A porta cot can be added to the Airbnb if requested.

Welcome to Alamea House

Fully self-contained two bedroom tiny home amongst some of the properties Alpacas. Continental breakfast included: milk, bread, eggs and choice of cereals and spreads. Located in the Manawatu just 10 minutes from Palmerston North and 10 mins from Feilding. Convenient to Manfield Chris Amon raceway or Robertson Prestige Speedway. Trailers, car transporters and larger vehicles can be accomodated on request.

The Cottage

A private self contained cottage in a rural setting. This restored 1930's cottage is very cosy and comfortable. A heat pump is available for those chilly nights. The Cottage is located on a lifestyle block approximately 14 km from the centre of Palmerston North. The cottage looks out over a pond and paddocks with ducks and sheep. Guest access is by keypad on the main entry gate to the property.
