Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Rangárþing eystra

We had a fabulous stay at this cabin. We booked here because of the Jeep tours the host offers, but we loved the cabin itself too. The setting is very peaceful, and we enjoyed seeing the northern lights from the porch and the driveway. The cabin has comfortable beds and nice quality linens, plus comfortable furniture in the living room for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The kitchen is a little limited, but everything is accurately described in the listing, and all appliances work well. We were able to cook simple meals that suited our purposes just fine. We had good communication from the host, who is friendly and helpful, and the Jeep tours driven by her husband took us to stunning landscapes we never could have reached on our own. We highly recommend staying here and hope to stay again in the future!

Halla’s place was exceptionally lovely. One of the nicest AirBnBs I’ve seen. The home is a perfect size and it’s easy to spend time in or outside of the house. The views are spectacularly pretty and I never got tired of them. I got up early to watch the sun rise and watched the sun set from the warm and comfortable living room. The house has everything one would need. I loved that there were coffee pods and olive oil. Just the basics but it made it so much easier to be there for five days. Halla could not have been more responsive. Thank you !

Breathtaking. The property and views were beautiful and the home was very comfortable and convenient for all of our South Coast activities. The Black Sand Beaches, Vik, multiple waterfalls, hiking, and the Westmann Islands were all just minutes away…plus we saw the Northern Lights two of our three nights. Also, Stormur provided easy to follow instructions for our first day with everything we needed to know and was very fast and helpful when we had a question. We would stay at this beautiful home again without hesitation.

Excellent, responsive host. We had an issue with the hot water on Christmas day. He came out and fixed the problem within a half hour. Great location to Vik and Selfoss. Private and quiet, except for the howling winds. Great restaurant close by. Highly reconmend.

An amazing place! I must say, the actual space was even more amazing than I imagined! Everything in the house is fully equipped and thoughtfully prepared. The arrangement of the furniture and the decoration of the interior are in excellent taste—it is obvious that much thoughts has focused into every detail. Thanks to the owner for renting this house to us.

Jòna’s place was the cozy retreat we needed. The cabin flooded with beautiful sunlight in the mornings & at night we saw the Northern Lights. The bed & pillows were super comfy. We cooked breakfast & dinner every night & had everything we needed to do it. The road to get to the cabin goes from asphalt to gravel to asphalt & back to gravel but we were able to do it with a Toyota Yaris (2WD). It was so quiet & peaceful! We took a walk in the evenings on the road. There is a Kronan grocery store about 30 minutes away & a Bonus grocery store about 35 minutes the other way (on Route 1 aka Ring Road). There is also an Olis gas station within 30 minutes of the cabin & we had no problems using our credit card (w/ no pin #). Actually, this was a big concern based on videos I have watched about getting gas in Iceland but we had NO issues. You will not regret staying here! We would definitely stay again. Thanks Jòna!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Stefansson qui est toujours réactif à nos questions. Le Chalet isolé mais pas trop puisque proche de tous commerces. La vue et le calme sont un atout incroyable. Proche de pleins de sites de visites Nous avons été conquis par L’Islande et ses paysages incroyables mais le Chalet a contribué à rendre notre séjour au top Merci

L'alloggio è semplicemente perfetto, la cucina era fornita di tutto e lo spazio del salotto è stato davvero comodissimo per passare la sera a casa (plus la smart tv!). I dintorni sono molto tranquilli e grazie al poco inquinamento luminoso abbiamo anche visto una bellissima aurora boreale. Tornerei assolutamente in questa casa
