Part of the adventure of staying here is your host, his very welcoming presence, fun stories, and awesome waffles! His place is definitely lived-in, but it is homey, warm, and very close to a lot of amazing sights to see! Would definitely recommend, Thank you Snæbjörn!

Holt Guesthouse Room 2

You are staying in the home of a beautiful family on a beautiful farm. Our host was so friendly and was excited to talk to us, her young boy raced us in the yard. (He won ;) ) We sat outside on a bench and watched the sunset over the fields. It’s a beautiful place well within driving distance of anything you can think of really. We woke up early and drove 3 hours to the national park, and on the next morning left after a wonderful breakfast. I’d love to stay with this family again and hope to on our next trip to Iceland!

Sperðill farmhouse - room 3.

Everything was just perfect. Very nice room and bathroom and we had also opportunity to use laundry what we really appreciated because all our stuff was completely wet (raining whole day). Inga and her husband were so nice and helpful and also gave us some tips what to visit. Breakfast was very good. Thank you so much!

Dalssel farm Guesthouse - room 11

SimonRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We were welcomed by Andrés' son Christian. He helped us bring our luggage to our rooms. He showed us the amenities, the kitchen, and some nice surrounding spots to visit. He also talked a bit about the history of the farm and the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull. We were even allowed to use the microwave in the family's home to heat up our dinner. It was very thoughtful of Christian to remind us again of the approaching sunset with all its colors (even greenish), which is also his inspiration for his art. All in all a nice experience.

Valborg is one of the best hosts we have ever had. Great musician, beautiful space, 10/10. Also close to a lot of the nature spots along the south coast.

We loved our stay at Andres farm. He was really attentive and explained a lot to us about the history of the farm and the surroundings. We did not book the breakfast, but were able use to us the kitchen. Seljalandsfoss is 8 minutes away. And we saw the Northern lights from his premises 😊.

I think this is the cleanest and easiest place I have ever stayed at. 10/10 would go again. Make sure you double check the address as maps was trying to bring us to a place that was 30 minutes away

Amazing location and great recommendations from the host. Clean, comfortable and quiet as well as good value for money. There is a secret (free) natural geo thermal swimming pool only 5 mins down the road as well which we loved.
